I'm not sure on uploading this take with hands full of mistakes, but at the same time why not? haha Just bought a cheap mini strat with 22.75 inch scale, $50 seemed good for the price of joy. Nice alternate picking. I myself down pick everything. Not trying to be like Hetfield . It's just natural for me. Watching this gonna try to . Huge fan of TBDM since the beginning. I remember thinking they had 2 singers bc I never had heard highs and lows that much in one song. Trevor paved the way for that type of shit and also just musically too for the rest of the band . Nice catch! Yeah, pickups do catch the buzz from the strings between tension bar and tuner, so I had to put a foam there ;) Song is almost done writing, might be released soon(I’m trying, at least😋) Thanks for watching!

Sounds great! Any tips how you process your sound?
Thanks! I would recommend polishing sound with good de-esser(soothe2 for me). It's not always necessary but is definitely an easy way to clean up some harshness coming from the string :) Other than that, I used tape saturation for warmth and overtones, compression just to tame some peaks and overall dynamics and bit of room reverb!
