Is cotton bedding ok? I always used this for my hamster, and it works amazing with burrowing! I don't know if it's toxic for Gerbils. I was planning on getting a hamster, but Gerbils seem fun too, and I would like to have more than one animal. Is there really a big difference in hamsters and Gerbils? My hamster died a week ago and I did gave it a hamsterscaping and a big terrarium. Carefresh is really expensive in my country so I rather not buy those.

One of my two gerbils are always bitting. Hiting a cage with nose, or cage base, scraching with his nails. When ever hes out on the couch, when he see my skin he bites. He was a little agressive when we got them. Hes not biting only when i give him a sunflower seed.😢 idk how to get him to trust me

hi my gerbil got sick. She just lies there with his eyes half open, and when she walks, he twists the back of his body. Would you be able to tell us what to do because there is no veterinarian in my area who would treat rodents. I haven't seen her drink or eat yet, and she lets herself be petted for a long time, even when she ran away in the past. (I have a friendly relationship with her and she trusts me, so she was walking on my hands). She is 2 soon as well.

I have a question about gerbils, so my gerbil has this weird lump on his back, the one day when he was eating I was touching his back and I felt his spine, it looks nowhere near like the back of a normal gerbil, but nothing else is going on, it's been there since we got him, but like I said it feels like it's part of his spine so I don't know if that's just how his back looks or if there's something else going on Edit: I just realized that this is from 4 years ago but if anyone knows about this please explain

My partner and I got two lovely gerbils 2 years ago and finding videos about gerbils and gerbil care, especially as they get older and having such a close bond with them, has been hard to come across! I just discovered your channel and I can't wait to watch more of your other content to learn more about ways to give my gerbils the best life. I never knew how unique and special gerbils really are, and I am so thankful they came into my life. It is so clear how much you loved your little fur babies, and they lived an amazing and fulfilling life with you.
