Headlight Restoration (3 DIFFERENT METHODS)
So these are the things being used for this project;
*Headlight restoration; Chemical Guys GAP11516 Headlight Restore and Protect, 16. Fluid_Ounces www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZYGJ4W8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_p6yGEbJZZ07WK
*Sanding paper; 2000 grid and 3000 to finish.
*3” polishing pads.
*Rubbing compound, polishing compound, and clear coat. Was bought at Walt mart.
*toothpaste & toothbrush was bought at dollar general.

What’s up everyone just a little update on the things I’ve done to my truck added some led raptor lights. Replaced my led pods for some auxbeams the other ones were trash. Got the 42” led light bar mounted to the roof rack. And finally customized the headlights. These were fun little projects still want to do more but looking to see what’s next! This is how to install led pod fog lights on your Tacoma. Got this kit on eBay had to do a few things to one of the brackets for it to fit. You can go with other brands and pay a little more money, but better quality. I worked with what I had and they came out good.

Green wire turning signal & hazard lights for both sides Green/yellow brake lights Green/white wire-running lights Black-ground If you do get the same kit, your yellow wires goes to both turning signals the yellow wires tell you the wire for right tail light & for left tail light. 2007 Nissan Sentra radio install, remove trim with plastic tool. Don't disconnect climate control piece airbag lights it's the same piece where climate controls are located. If you want to disconnect this piece remove your negative terminal from battery, if you don't you might have an airbag light on dash. This is a really easy install won't take more than 45 mins if you know what you're doing....

(Pioneer DMH-160BT II Car Stereo Head Unit, Double Din, 6.8" Touchscreen, CarPlay/Android Auto) if you have a Waltmart near you, this radio is pretty good. I have it in one of my cars right now. That radio in the video I had it like 6 years ago
2013 Nissan Altima… Where does that green and yellow wire go I can’t seem to figure out that one wire and I look it up and can’t find anything on it. I think that’s why my steering wheel controls don’t work yet

Yeah this generation is kinda stupid it doesn't take a straight 7 inch double din it's like 6.75 or 6.85 inch double din so you either buy specialty head unit or get weird fit. Most dash kits will warn you about it.

Which or what wires goes connected to the brown harness I just put after market radio and speaker didn’t work but I connect the amp wire to the red and yellow wire and the speakers started working but they sound not good as it should

No problem that’s how Nissans are, gotta make your own ground you can go to Walt mart and pick up wire and some ring terminals for cheap
@@yungmexican32 Okay thank you buddy!! That was exactly what I had to do when I installed a stereo in my 1998 Jeep Cherokee and in a friend’s 2001 Dodge Ram Van. Many older Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler vehicles are exactly the same way, where you have to run your own ground when installing an aftermarket radio, so I definitely got a better understanding. Crux harness finally arrived yesterday so I’ll be installing the Jvc KW-X840BTS Unit into our 08 this weekend!

You can get any known brand in 7” I wouldn’t get those cheaper android ones, they usually don’t make a good fit. I just installed a 7” Sony on a 2008 not too long ago and it was a perfect fit.
I bought a new Kenwood and new wiring harness hook wires color to color but the place I bought it from never gave me the wiring harness or the one for the antenna is there any way to bypass that and have steering wheel controls and everything without spending the $60 for the harness
The only way to do it you have to buy the axxes aswc-1 to retain the steering wheel controls, and as for the antenna you have to get the adapter man

Hey so I have a powered sub with a little amp built in it and I'm wondering how that works compared to this? First time wiring anything in a vehicle so it isn't all too clear to me yet...
Taco, is there a difference, if you start at the right side tail light, or the left? Or it doesn’t matter? I bought the LED 144 for my back window, and I wanna make sure I start, on the proper side? Plus the green wire was a flashing mode like police lights, and is illegal?
You can tap it on left or right doesn’t matter, and honestly it’s better if you can get a red led strip instead of the led white you might get pulled over with the white one

FINALLY, I have a working light! The last one I bought, I had to send back. Had a bad connection where it snaps together? @@markochman75 for sure man, those test lights also work great should pick one of those if you don’t have one and you can test everything out and make sure you’re tapping everything correctly.

I’ll get the brake light, then the blinkers won’t work, or flashers? What the hell am I doing wrong? White is brake light, red is power, both yellow are turn signals, I hook it up, and one or another, doesn’t work? I don’t get it? I’m using the same exact test light as you.
@@yungmexican32 solid light is brake light, right? Put your blinker on, and the test light blinks, that’s your signals, black is ground. I connect all that, and get one or the other? I’m missing something?
How you doing Taco? My buddy and I tried to hook up the 3rd brake light, that goes to the top of the rear window. We connected the red positive, and ground (black) and we got nothing? No brake light, right from the start. We turned the headlights on, everything. He connected the green wire, which is the sequential wire, which is illegal. Once you hook the positive, and ground, I should get the full break light, correct?? We didn’t

Back to the screen on top I believe there is two harnesses one goes to the after market harness and the other back to the screen on top of new radio
@@yungmexican32 the aftermarket harness has the plug that connect to the factory one and then it divides into two different plugs which one connects to the after market radio and the other one connects to factory radio?

There is no sensor. the wires that I tapped come from the steering wheel
