I really love these recordings by Rebel Alliance Jazz Ensemble. I just wish you would tell me the names of the songs and who the personnel is. Many of the charts are wonderful, but I have never heard them before.

I don't see Allen Vizzutti. The kid that took the improvisation trumpet solo kind of looks like Allen but that's not him, he's too young and too short! Brian (The Chops) MacDonald never fails to impress with his stratospheric playing! Many thanks for the great video! 🎺🎶🎵

Maybe i've listened to MF's Canadian Stage Band Festival performance of this too many times, while this is a good performance, just seems to be a bit slow. Also I thought the odd camera work thing has been resolved, i guess not.
They seemed to be behind the beat rather on top of it.

Saw Dave Stahl in a loft in NYC in 1979. I knew he killed on lead but thought wow this guy can really PLAY. Great to see him still at it. We've lost some great ones. Alan Rubin, Stan Mark and of course Maynard.
