Mike Israetel made a really good video about RDLs. You are supposed to imagine pushing your butt and knees back, which helps keep your legs straight, which stretches the hamstrings more. Also, just a personal tip from me, I like to use dumbbells instead of a barbell for RDL because they’re not as wide as plates and don’t hit the ground as soon. Again, helps you get that deeper stretch. But I understand some people prefer to use the barbell. It’s just what I like to do.
@@_audacity2722 Is he on RUclips? I’ll have to check him out, and I thought you want your knees to stay relatively stacked over your feet. To be honest form for anything legs wise is not my strong suit.

Ya know it probably would help, but also cause some other problems.
And if anybody is going to give me some helpful critiques on rdls and maybe hip thrusts. Don’t just tell me ya it looks wrong do it like this. That’s not very helpful, I’m thinking more along the lines of why it’s wrong and how to make it better and why. Other than somebody showing how right next to me. I find it hard to just copy someone’s form off of words or even a video.
I'm not sure why but some days I also just can't get sleep. And it ruins the progression of the next day
@@PhonkEcho Ya it does but any bit of sleep makes a huge difference. My mistake was once it was like 3am I gave up and started doing things which drained me even further.
I am currently at 211 (highest ever) , started my journey towards 175 pounds last week. All the best buddy.

@@6amsalvatore Well I’ve been big most my life and I kinda got tired of it. As long as you’re eating more you should eventually get there you just have to remember your metabolism is probably doing more than you think and that’s maybe why gaining weight is slow. Good luck though.

How much do you weight now bro ? And what kind of diet are you doing I’m 335 after dropping down to 240 and I would love to get back to that size just can’t get my diet right anymore
Well, I currently am fluctuating in the upper 270 low 280. To be honest the diet for me is still a sticking point but I found 2,300 calories to be a good start. I went from 320 to 280 eating around that much with a 40-50% 20% 30-40% split that being carbs, fat, and protein. But it's kind of a what works best for you if you're really active increase the calories if not decrease but only by like 100 at a time. I wish I could give you a definitive answer body every person is different. I hope this might help though.
Also, I forgot to say go on a week-based weigh in because it's sometimes discouraging to see no progress day by day. It will take time for the deficit to show.

@Nick.T.G today just grip cardio and mobility I'm 40 and broke my ribs so alot of my muscles are recovering from compensating for broken ribs.
