did the back up camera still work?

So I did this mod on my brand new sr5 4x4 and the very next day when I went to work I heard this very persistent high pitched drone. It was like air rushing over a ladder rack or something. No way I'm gonna listen to this all the time so I put the air dam back on and noise is gone. So Toyota probably new about this and had to design something to stop this noise. Not to happy I have to keep this ugly air dam on

Great and very helpful video! I recently got into soldering and I could definitely try this to fix my old SP. For some reason I never thought of repairing the original screen; instead I went for an IPS upgrade which is more pricey. But hey, after all these years that baby is still working, so it deserves a nice upgrade. Thanks again for the tutorial, very much appreciated.

What’s that little tool called they used to push back the caliper

I think those are tweeters. They are just for high frequencies. Tweeters are small.

I followed the steps to get into service brake mode but I can’t press in the piston on the caliper what did I do wrong

I removed mine and love the look but have notice a low wind noise after removal. Starts at around 30 mph and goes on till 60 or so. Been looking for a solution because I want to keep it off. Saw a test video done and only had a 0.7 mpg difference. Have you not heard this noise on yours after removal?

I will never never cut the grill to put camera in the front. Front camera it's not necessary. You can see where you going when you're pulling in.

Ive been runnin in to that overheating problem. I replaced the Fan, water pump, ECT Sensor, and thermostat. Im surprised. Ive never seen this kind of craziness with a car either. I also have been working on cars alot.

My focus will not go into reverse. Do you think that the actuator could be the cause as well?

My code came back as p0902 it’s saying clutch actuator circuit low when I put in drive it doesn’t go but reserve it goes

Did you have issues with the DRLs only turning 1 light on? I can force them on with the stick but the headunit controls will only turn one on

I tried this on a failing gameboy and the light overheated for the first couple sessions and died soon after I turned it on while charging. It would always tint blue and I’d be able to feel the heat. I didn’t add any resistors so I think that’s what killed it

Thanks for the help, fixed my gameboy like this today If you connect the wire to just the far right positive post of the power switch you will have constant backlight even when power is off. Connect wire to the middle right post and backlight will switch off with the power

Do I need to unplug the battery before start to install it?

I have a 2009 Camry and was never notified about getting the problem fixed. I also have sticky buttons which are discussing. I live in southern CA, it’s almost always sunny, Andrade interior gets hot! Toyota should be ashamed of them selves for letting this problem continue for years.
