Father and Daughter: growing up in Ultras Q and A
I get a lot of questions from young athletes asking about how to approach their parents with following their passion in endurance sport AND I get alot of questions about how my Dad sees my runner, what role he plays and the concerns of doing a sport like this.
I thought it would be fun to get him on board to answer them for himself, share some of his pearls of wisdom and have a laugh with us.

this is a work out I do during my training. This is my garage, the equipment isnt fancy and neither is my camera work but you get the idea. Heavy weights, low reps...adjust at your own pace and enjoy the strength it brings!
finish your run 5 minutes early and instead spend 5 minutes doing core

here are 5 examples of core exercises I like to include after my run. If you are time poor- miss 1km off your run and hit the matt from 5 minutes of core... it will make you a stronger run then those extra steps! What are your favourite core exercises?

Great video! I also do a lot of endurance sport with my father :) I used to have a low iron level, but since eating plant based, it's good again. I blame it on the dairy products. It is actually written in the prescription of iron pills that you should not take them with dairy as it prevents the absorbtion of the iron. Thought it might help. Also blackstrap molasses has a lot of iron.
