Not to sound like a Sony Fanboy, but i do enjoy the feel of the controller on the portal. Was it worth $200? Probably not. Do i regret my purchase? Also no. The steam deck streaming with Chiaki is fantastic! However, theres just sometiing special about using first party equipment.

Thanks for doing this. I own a PS5 portable but just ordered a Steam deck OLED. I didn't know you could do remote play on Stream deck so I can use that for my Xbox series X. Cheers.

1. What you qualify as framedrops are microfreezes from network lag, and if you call that "fine" to play, your standards are low 2. A steamdeck can't be found at 200 bucks lol or you have found the dumbest reseller of a Steam Deck 3. People lookin for a portal aren't gonna play pc games, buying a deck is about playing Steam Games (sure you can install chiaki, which really has way more troubleshooting than you're showin, I know, I used remote play on my steamdeck) 4. You don't even talk about how the Dualsense part of a ps portal is important, rumble, haptics, etc. If thats worth 0 to you fine but thats important to playstation players It's like a video about why you're not a playstation centric gamer. Videos like this completely miss the mark on : ease of use (which the portal is obviously stronger at), comfortability (the dualsense part), and target audience (a console player who doesnt care about buyin steam games/prefers the ease of use of a console interface). Both hardwares are good but you're comparing buying a new car to buying new seats for your car.

I really like the gameplay, even tho I am so bad at it. What really keeps me going is that I really want to see the whole world for myself, and be able to get good at the game. I enjoy it so much when I try for so long and start to be better. Even tho i dont have time i play like every weekend I really enjoy it. And I really love the desingns and thinking about the game while I am in school, like what I will do next and stuff.

I think one way for Eternal Champions 3: The Final Chapter to happen is if they appeared as guest characters in Virtua Fighter 6. Similar to Dead Or Alive 5 how there were six VF guests in the game. Or just do the third EC game and have VF cast and have it be a crossover like how DOA5 did. The EC characters can time travel and they land in the timeline of VF and they survive for good and not die. I read somewhere one time that VF and EC play similarly. Like how Weaponlord was the basis of Soul Calibur.

Reason for ps portal: You don’t have anything else than a ps5 to game

The only difference is you can use a different wifi away from home for the Portal. At least what I've heard. I haven't tried with my Deck.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but that’s just a crazy take. You want a linear story and progression system, Elden ring takes a bit more investment, and to say the world is boring or empty is just objectively wrong, it packed full of content. Elden ring just doesn’t hold your hand through the story or progression and it sounds like that’s what you want, which is fine but just because it isn’t for you doesn’t make it a bad game design

It ain't all that, and that's coming from someone who's addicted to it. The combat is atrocious. This complaint typically leads to the sycophantic From community reflexively parroting the git gud brainrot. This is because they're young, inexperienced and retarded. Ninja Gaiden (nes) is a far more difficult game than any souls game, but then again, the controls actually work in Ninja Gaiden. There's a difference between a game being hard and fair and a game being confused as hard because the player control is ass and the bosses are reading input commands. The world is beautiful and empty. There are hundreds of weapons and a few of them are decent. The bosses are tanky to the point of tedium (which any developer could do, this isn't exclusive to Miyazaki nor is it talent.) All this being said, I feel like I've wasted a lot of time to achieve something that was awkwardly tedious rather than genuinely difficult and rewarding. Oh yeah, a pre-emptive "get plowed" to all the Miyazaki apparatchiks.

3 reasons why i wont get ps portal. 1. i have steam deck 2. steam deck can play offline (after you download and installed the game) so you dont have to even use wifi for single player games And 3. I dont have ps5 lol

You can do the same thing with the being able to play the game after beating the level glitch in sonic 1 and 2’s mobile ports with debug

it's the game from From Software, and as a "Soulsborne veteran," I should love it. And trust me, I wanted to. i just cant But to be honest, I don't think the open-world formula did any good for the pacing and balancing of the game.but still boss designers like Maliketh and Commander Niall are separate In short, I tried to play a strength-focused melee build without using guides for useful items and their locations. I went completely blind into this big world. its just the open world idea will never suit with fromsoftware devs or they have released this game when they were wasnt ready for it your pick Your choices or experience may differ, and that's cool. I don't want to attack you or your favorite game. But I just can't stand this game and cannot recommend it. as far as i can see bloodborne and souls games are better than this piece of crap that doesnt even deserve 5 out of 1

It’s like a training thing like why do you think venom is comparable to big boss in terms of like fighting and speed and strength that VR training, which was zeros prepared him for like anything if you had an avatar in a VR game and you were speaking through it it would be your voice so that’s why you’re hearing his voice as big bosses voice if you notice at the end of metal gear, solid five, big boss doesn’t speak at all when ocelot is talking so if you were to speak, it would sound like hayter

I'll preface my comment by saying I don't hate Elden Ring and I did an entire playthrough of the base game (I'm not going back and playing the DLC, I have real life stuff going on, and if I'm going to sink time into a game, it's going to be Siege as I'm trying to hit Diamond again). To enjoy Elden Ring, or any "Souls-like" game, you have to really want to play it and be invested into it (which I am not). It's not CoD where you can jump in, be halfway decent at FPS games, and go positive. It's like the developmentally disabled cousin of high skill gap MP games, where you don't react to actual people, it's artificially difficult bosses that were created to pad game-time (I mean that in the best way possible, I understand it's the draw of the game). If I'm going to get good at something, I want to know I'm beating other people or I'm working towards an achievement (like a rank in Siege or CS:GO) that means I took the time to get really damn good at a game, not just... roll... roll... strike at weak point. It doesn't mean Elden Ring or other Soulslikes are bad games, they just aren't for me. I enjoyed my playthrough a decent amount but at the end it was just "alright, back to Siege".

You see fake and real Big Boss on MGSV but all have the same voice. I can stand 2 possibilities. They didin't want to have to hire two voice actors or they didn't want to make so obvious there are 2 different persons. If you hear in Ground Zeroes David Hater and Snake has another voice afterwards you know already he is not the real Snake, the surprise would be ruined. The theory were the prologue in Ground Zeroes is just the memory of the fake Snake after his memories has been modified makes sense. But what aboud the last scene... were Ocelot is talking to the real Snake, that one makes no sense. Venom is not there. Here they could just make him use the David voice, since by the moment you see the scene you already know the truth. But if they do that, the real snake should have to had the David's voice in the hospital scene at the begining of the game. The real Snake in the hospital has the Kieffer's voice. That make no sense at all. In my opinion, they just changes the Snake voice for any other reason. Why don't just use the David voice for all of them and explain that they changed his voice to make it sound like the real Snake one, the same way they changees his memories?

You are clearly approaching the game incorrect. The title of this video is really stupid too, just because you don't enjoy a game doesn't mean its a bad game. You spout pointless criticisms at why enemies are attacking you, why do dregs attack you in God of War ? its the exact same reason in Elden Ring. You are supposed to explore the game take your time and find the secrets in the crazy good world that is not empty. It clearly isn't a game for you, that doesn't make it a bad game, and invalidate it's game of the year win.

I dont know but I got more bored with rdr2 and witcher 3. Not really a fan of interactive movie games that has little to no gameplay and full of cut scenes. I'd rather play game rich with gameplay since well, I am playing games and not watching movies. To each their own I guess?

If you don't like the game that's ok. The story is detective work and you get to feel like you discovered it. You are an interloper in a post war country. Everyone is suspicious of each other and trying to protect themselves. Why is there a troll blocking the way? Sorry that it isn't more depth then that but it really is just they are guarding that path. The troll is just a guard. The story also is meant to be played multiple times. Not just to inflate play time but again to give you a feeling of discovery. The story is in item descriptions and offhand comments of NPCs. "Why am i fighting this guy?...(Look at the description on his armor after the fight) Oh turns out he is the half-brother of this other character everyone talks about" The game isn't for everyone and to give an olive branch. I have a hard time playing Minecraft, but i still recognize that it's a game that many love.
