@@vanovhs he was a confirmed captain of a crime family. When Tony asked , why does it matter? He stated "they were asking me alot of weird questions in there and drilling me hard in there" and dont forget, PUSSY FLIPPED IMMEDIATLEY. I will say yes, it was PORTRAYED suspicious , espescially with the way he had him act it out, etc. But the simple fact still remains, it was never confirmed and NOBODY has asked David Chase himself for the true answer. I think this is one of the best questions, just as good as does Tonys whole family get whacked at the end? This is part of why David Chase is such a good writer though. He leaves certain things open ended, so that 20 years later, two guys are still debating over it at 6am somewhere on social media on a friday morning. @@arifigueroa7327 Jimmy was a RAT 100%. You wouldn't know that same Eugene is a rat if it wasn't shown in the series. All of the capos in the Sopranos are rats to one degree or another - it's one of the main intentions of the show.

Until the scriptwriter drops an official statement saying he was or wasant, its all hearsay, speculation, and assumption as far as the streets is concered.
