Too bad I suck at playing piano and can't even do the easiest part of the easiest song ever. Ah well.
“Where are you, Jay Bennet?”A must watch the documentary. Without him Wilco would have been just an alt country band. Thank you Jay! RIP
First heard this song on a phone commercial back when I was a teen been listening ever since till this day love this song
❤❤❤❤❤❤
one of my favorite songs ever
Look like they're having fun!!
The best 3:34 of Wilco? I don’t mean to belittle anything they’ve done…but this is best I’ve ever seen them. Long live Jay Bennett
なんて優しいメロディーなんだろう
I wouldn’t be the musical freak I am if it wasn’t for seeing these guys rock my face off at 15.
I’m so happy to hear this!
this was the highest level of Wilco, ever prove me wrong!
Wilco rock on !
How can I watch this film?
I love all Wilco but this was my fav line-up, such a clean and intense sound.
I don't know if Glenn looks more like Charlie Sheen or Jason Bateman in this video...
This is such good, raw live energy right here. Mr. Jay Bennett ladies and gentlemen!!!
So good....wow. Timeless rock.
0:39 You can tell just how excited Glenn is to be in this band doing what he’s doing
Oh yes he always seems so enthusiastic!
He’s so excited!
Is the cello player improvising? If so, he is insanely talented.
best version.
Pajama day
Yonlu
A lot of people don't know this but this is Americas favorite band!
I love how Jeff messes up the lyrics on accident and says FLA instead of TLA at 2:33 then looks at John and kinda laughs. Then he follows it with a great punk rock moment giving a nice scream basically saying "ahh who gives a shit this is fun" and then goes right back into the chorus. Jeff Tweedy is a punk rocker in the truest sense of the term. I dont mean loud fast music, I mean he doesnt care what other people will think about how he changes up musical styles with each album bcs he is making music he loves and is passionate about. That is what punk rock really is
REBEL REBEL!! WUUUUUUUUU
wow! fucking awesome song!!! love the chorus 'smoke pot' even though that is not their thing.
Tweedy needs to shave and clean up. Looks much better here than now.
Good ole midwest boys. Always solid.
BVs = Smoke Pot?
yuuuuuuuup
oh yeah
I think I like this version the most. Rehearsing for a tour, circa, what, 2000-01 or so? anyway, excellent stuff, as is usually the case
I think the days of two guitars in Wilco are over.
Um what do call what Nels Cline and Jeff Tweedy are doing?
Dan Gohsler that's just what Jeff Tweedy said in the movie
Ah good thing he was wrong. He held his own playing lead on a ghost is born but they definitely needed another guitar
I only wanna go where my wheels roll
thanks brotha!
It's from "I Am Trying to Break Your Heart - A Film About Wilco (2002)" which you can get on 1 disc or 2 disc DVD and is a masterpiece!!!
I'm dying to see that.
@@clintwilson6380 it's a brilliant film. You will love it.
is this from a DVD? if so, can someone tell from which one?
It’s from the doc I Am Trying To Break Your Heart
Has anyone else ever noticed Jeff picks up an acoustic guitar when he walks in, but when they cut back to him he's playing an electric?
try not to break your arm patting yourself on the back... Cheers!
Saw them live 2 days ago... HOLY SHIT THEIR DRUMMER IS GOOD! Easily the greatest I've ever seen! Flawless...
Trashy indeed
I've never looked up the lyrics and I pick up on almost everything he says...
Perhaps you should stick to watching Iron Maiden videos then. Nothing wrong with that, Maiden are a class act.
The "guy" you are referring to is called Jeff Tweedy, he's the lead singer of one of the best bands in existence. And you're not fit to eat his used toilet paper.
Pretty hostile comment board here. Just sit back and enjoy the music.
gotta love charlie sheen on the drums
😂
And Owen Wilson on bass.
You have no idea what you are talking about.
I have nothing against people discovering this song from an evo commercial but if I have to hear one more person bitch and moan about how this isn't like their precocious remix I will explode. For Pete sakes you don't see me bitching about how Big Star's In the street isn't as good as the one they used for the That 70's show theme. jeez if you don't like it the just move on. You may have the right to your opinion but I have the right to tell you to get over yourself.
I just blew my brains out. Hope you're happy guys.
Tweedy sold his story to a publisher, not an unexact action.. Cheers! FrankC32.
You are not alone.
the original is better. this was their movie. sam jones. check out keith in the video.
Stop it! Stop it! Stop it already! If all you're here for is to argue go blow your brains out all fucking ready!! ENUFF !!!!!!
yeah, you're definitely right. sorry man. it's called "live music." have you ever been to a concert? the imperfections are the beauty of it. but yeah, true, this is WAY better than the bastardized version in some shitty cell phone commercial. frankly, i'm glad you like this version more. sorry dude... i hope you continue to enjoy watching poorly commercialized versions of real music. i did appreciate your use of a semi-colon, though. nice work.
