if a voter is marked dead /deceased on electoral role due to some error and he /she arrives at ps to vote ,, what to do plZ clarify
Absentee, Shifted and Dead voters names will be in the electoral roll. Their names are like other voters. You can't identify them from the electoral roll. You will get a list of ASD voters. The first polling officer will mark them with a pencil to identify them. If the ASD voter comes to vote, he/she can be identified as ASD voter. Then the pencil mark can be erased. Hope your doubt is cleared.
@@EduRKB sir my question is still un answered if a person in asd list is dead( due to some error) but he/ she is not dead in reality ,, what to do if that voter comes to vote.
He can vote, which is why the ASD list is there. Their names are on the electoral roll. But the voters will have to give a declaration to the PrO.
