Hey James, Liked the DIY idea of your sun visor for the Helix 5. I use tote lids or any other plastic as material for my projects. The initial cuts I do on my Skil table saw. With higher than 24 carbide teeth (wood- smooth cut ). I've cut plexi-glass, thin aluminum and other soft materials with it. It usually cuts straight with very little melting. What ever melted residue is easily removed with your fingers (after it cools). Instead of two sided tape why not leave some material to form mounting brackets. Then just attach the visor to the knobs (bolts) on the "GIMBAL' mounting bracket. Also, make the visor just a little larger in the rear to protect the sonar unit from rain. Good video, nice explanation. I have watched a LOT of these, as I learn and learn and learn. Amazing the little tips etc from different ones to incorporate into my own. one thing I noticed, your trigger still has small bends/undulations, and I think that may make tweeking more difficult. perhaps straighten the trigger perfectly straight, then bend it to be 90* to the eyelet, for a start, then tweek as necessary. using geometry and phyisics, you want the pressure to be just a hint to one side of the fulcrum point, THEN when the line pulls the end, the fulcrum moves and the rod tip is not on the other side, allowing the release. a straight smooth trigger aids in this.

Thanks for the video. I am impressed about the lousy quality of gopro. They are on version 13 and they still cannot figure out basic stuff. I bought a knock-off on amazon for $69 and it does not overheat ;-)

Anyone have a link to a powerbank that can power up gopro 13? Need it for kids sports events tournaments etc so need to run it without a battery but none of my power banks seem to power it up. Shuts off after about 3 5 seconds

Great video regarding Gopro overheating issues! I do a lot of dirtbike videos and use a remote battery as well. I wore out my Gopro 8 now with the 12 I have overheat issues with the internal battery. Now I will be purchasing a media mod case because of your video! My camera mounts on the chin of my helmet so a right angle USB cord may work better. Might wanna try one for your rig so its not pressing into your chest or you need to tilt the camera up a bit more.

What drive mode you in? Only slippery? I use ForScan to unlock the Mud and Rut and that's the mode I used most offroading in south GA. Much better than the factory slippery mode even with my factory Conti street tires. and that combined with Cooper AT i can get through any mud pit as long as the truck didnt bottom up.

Is The ATR plus louder on roads? The ATR is very silent on my Car ..

EDITED: Cracked main gear after 3 years use on Ol'Salty 5000. Use it solely in salt water, catching big fish, 37-44" stripers, but Company is sending me new gear for repair. Alls good.
