How to make the perfect Philly Cheesesteaks on the Blackstone Griddle - easy!
Hey guys! Today we are making Philly Cheesesteaks (my way!!) on the Blackstone 36” culinary series (from Lowe’s).
We use “Philadelphia’s finest” meat slices which we get from our local Restaurant Depot (Jetro) here in New Jersey. I do recommend these if you can’t slice ribeye yourself. They are bit better quality than Steak Umms you’ll find at the supermarket. Most diners, pizza shops, and sub shops like Jersey Mike’s use this Philadelphia finest style of meat. Only the super traditional places use actual sliced ribeye so if you want a restaurant quality cheesesteak that won’t break the bank this is a great option.
The entire 10lb box of these slices came out to $32 so for $3.20 a lb it’s...

Seasoning my Blackstone Culinary 36” inch griddle model 1932 Tips and Tricks
Просмотров 3633 месяца назад
Hi Guys! Today we are seasoning my new Blackstone Culinary Model 1932 36” inch griddle from Lowe’s. Very similar process to my video on the 22 inch adventure ready with a few minor changes. Clean the griddle first. Then Simply use Canola oil, get the griddle blazing hot, and put down thin coats with some good quality paper towel. Let each coat burn in before starting the next coat. 3-4 coats sh...

Smash Burger on the Stovetop with a Cast Iron Pan! No Blackstone, No Problem!!

Today is another video on my favorite - Smash Burgers!! Since it’s cold outside, there are alternatives to using a Blackstone. One alternative that works great is Cast Iron Skillet. It doesn’t have the surface area for large cooks but it does make a formidable burger. See for yourself! As always we appreciate comments and feedback. We strive to make our content simple but informative. So please...
Follow-up 2 year review of Blackstone 22” Griddle - One regret

22 inch Blackstone adventure ready review Today I wanted to go over a follow up review of the Blackstone 22” Adventure Ready griddle. We’ve had it for 2 years and overall it’s been fantastic. One regret though. We wish we got the 36” bigger model! Don’t get me wrong the 22” cooks fantastic, looks great, doesn’t take up much space. But if space isn’t an issue then I’d recommend moving up to a 28...

In this video we compare which is the better cheeseburger. The single (thicker) smash burger or super thin patties which is the more traditional smashburger. In the past I’ve made the thicker singles but lately I’ve been making thinner double cheeseburgers. We’ve taken our viewers comments and applied them here!! We make these on the 22 inch blackstone adventure ready griddle. Let us know what ...

It looks like they were cooked too long, because it looks dry...... Cook for less time and rest for longer then pour the juices back over the steak. We should all STOP using seed oils .......such as Canola.....the latest research shows they are literally killing us.....

Sear the burger while it is still a ball. It takes less than a minute. Then turn the seared side up and smash as usual without the waxed paper. The burger will not stick to the paddle.

This was great, thank you! I am always intimidated by cooking large steaks, thank you for the easy instructions, great tips and you explained everything easily for us home cooks :) the meal came out perfect! PS - avocado oil has a high smoke point too and doesn't influence the flavor, recently found it for searing meat/fish and its my favorite now

Hmmm. This really isn't a "smash" burger. Smash burgers were made at the time of the great depression starting in 1929. They were also called depression burgers because they only used a quarter of the meat. They are supposed to be topped with a mess of thinly sliced onions
