I just watched your fishing trip and all those stripers you caught! That was a great trip and a wonderful story! I am 61 , my Husband got me kayaking last year. This year I have two kayaks and we re gearing them up to fishing! I have two auto immune diseases and like you, I look better on the outside than the insides! You are a boost of inspiration to keep moving! God bless!
@@diamondfire42 Thank you so much for your kind words, you just made my day! That was some trip for sure and a real booster for me to keep moving, a big thanks to Mike Smedley and several other folks for making that trip happen. I’m sorry to hear about your struggles but I’m grateful to be an inspiration . Your taking time to make this comment has been a boost of inspiration to me as well, I think it’s time for me to get out of this recliner and get busy at something! Thank you!🙏

@billreddochoutdoors5968 oh ok well when you find another, plz lemme know..heck I'll buy 2 or 3.
@ I will let you know when I get some more
Full disclosure Bill, I had no idea what I was watching you make. I had never even heard of a dragging weight. That must be the city kid in me 😂 Very cool concept and it looks like it would be very weedless. Now I'm wondering if there is an application where that might work with a bass lure? 🤔 A teacher and a friend you are good sir!
@@yakkittymack Hey Mr.Jeff! Dragging weights are fairly common in the catfishing world and you are right , the design is meant to let the bait float a certain distance of the bottom and the weight drag across the bottom and hopefully not get stuck on structure. As far as bass fishing application I haven’t thought about it but it might be worth thinking on. I appreciate the kind word! Thanks for stopping by my friend!
Smart thinking 🤔

I've seen this rubber tubing trick before for salmon and steelhead fishing here in Michigan. Also some use paricord kind of the same way? Too much to explain on a short response. Just try them all and see what you like best. The trick is getting out there to try it all! What i like might not be what you like? I'm a fisherman so i have to put in my 2 cent's Bill. 😊
