I made a quick trip to the pond and discovered something quite strange. I came to believe because of what kept happening that the fish in this pond must have poor vision because they seem to have trouble eating what they strike at!

Strangest bait for a minnow trap

This sack trap beats anything that I have ever see for catching minnows in this small river by my house, put in some yellow corn meal, steak it out and in just a few minutes hear comes the minnows! Corn meal don’t work eel in cage traps though.
