Thanks a lot for this. A tip for locating the place to stick the pad on the sliding doors is to use an inc pad on the switch and then close the door. It will leave a mark indicating where to place the pad.

Hello I have a noise when taking my foot off pedal - like pretty annoying noise - D5 engine - any idea what could be? Also lacks bit power now basically not letting me over 3k rpm.. thx

Light on dashboard been flashing on and off for months but was still locking ok,last 2 days not been able to lock van.it was the sliding door on drivers side,didn’t have any of the pads so used some double sided tape and half a beer mat!problem solved.🙂 Great tip,thankyou

Hello. What exact button are you pressing down on the door? Is it the door LOCK button, or the door UNLOCK button? Also, you have to do it on the passenger side door like in your video? Or any door is good? Thank you very much.

Great video 👌 I used an sds drill with a spade bit on hammer action only, took about 20 minutes applying penetrating fluid as I went. Came to find a knack how to fit the new bearing but looks like its the wrong one too, damn ebay😩

Even more, i have duosida home charger, after i plugin connector with set timrr, i see 1-2-3, but after pressing "disable charging timer" button it dos not charge!. So in order to start, i need to press mentioned button prior to connecting plug.

I had my 2007 XC70, which I've owned for over 2yrs, MOTd today. When I picked it up and drove off the car locked itself. It's never done that before. Neither have the other 2007 XC70 or the two 2002 S60s I had before it. So came on here looking for how to turn it off! Your video was very helpful, thank you!

Wow. Knowing all these volvo issues! I'd suggest changing that rear oil often, like every 10,000 miles. My brother has this problem on his 2011 xc90. Scary 😱 🤮

My 02 V70 XC is leaking some fluid from the rear differential and I started hearing the exact same noise the other day. Do you think the rear diff is toast or it's still savable?
