El Paso Neighborhoods and School Districts!
I’m from El Paso I live in phoenix I’m going to show this video to my fiancé and convince her to move there good video real nice
It’s not a base! It’s a Post!!
I live in San Antonio now 20 years but, I grew up in El Paso. I love my home here in SA, military city USA. That being said, EP is a safe, friendly city. That is how I remember it. I brought my young family to SA for opportunity, more universities, etc. My oldest graduated from UT Austin in 2008, my second graduated from Incarnate Word. I'm very proud. The border is not an issue, it's just part of life there. I will say, the food and the women are exceptional. I am married to a woman I met in El Paso and she is out of my league. If you're stationed there as a single guy, you will see what I'm saying. The sunsets there are unrivaled, regardless of which side of the Franklin mountains you live. I would go back if we didn't have our extended family here in SA Thank you guys and keep it up.
Rent in the northeast has gone up more than 40% while the wages here are often as low as $10/hr. El Paso needs a Vacancy Tax and more STR Regulations. And definitely less 'investors' buying up our housing for quick profit.
IN SHORT TLDR: Life here is pretty good, but since there “isn’t much to do”, it’s only as good as the “family” you make here. As someone who grew up here, moved to several Major Cities & came back, the Honest reason people don’t like it here is because of the “nothing to do” feeling. By that I mean, there aren’t any major league teams, routinely Major concerts/events (avrg every 2-4years) , world renowned USA attractions for at least 4-6 hours driving in almost any direction depending on what side of the city you live on. There are things like malls, a small night club scene, verity of food, outdoor related activities, seasonal events that feel more fitting for a small town then a city of this size. However the “small town” mentality is true in how most people are friendly or courteous, almost in a way that would remind you of a Mexican American Hallmark movie, Family and loved ones are super important and it’s strange to go more then 2-3 weeks without speeding time with them. Time kinda has this weird way of standing still around here. Most of the year is somewhere between 74-98. A good majority of people will either never leave, leave then come back, or settle within a few hours of here. Honestly it’s been a good life.
Thank you for your comment. Always good to hear some positivity!
Are there any HOAs there? I would hope not.
Great video. It seems like the locals are the ones that don’t seem to like El Paso, but outsiders can appreciate a true gem when they see it.
WWII 5 Star General Omar Bradly retired at Fort Bliss
Wonderful information, Thank You Michael!
How would I bring in evidence to correct square footage?
Do you have an appraisal with the sq footage?
use an appraisal or some official measurement of the property
El Paso is horrible. Downtown may be clean, with all the illegal migrants that's here I doubt it's still clean. The roadsides are full of trash. Trash stuck in bushes along the roads. Even some trash near homes, I'd think residents would have pride and clean it up. Good luck getting a job if you do not speak Spanish. I like Ft Bliss. The mountains are OK. But it's not as green as the video makes it seem. There is one lake and no ponds, the one lake is dirty looking. I hear many people complain El Paso residents do not like the military.
Thank you for your service.
The HOA Covenants and Restrictions WILL NOT allow you to make any improvements to your home, yards (front and back) without HOA approval. Basically, your paying your mortgage but the HOA is in COMPLETE CONTROL of what your home will look like...NO THANKS.....NOT FOR ME!!!!
HOA=NO WAY
Construction is ruining the desert spaces. Greed will ruin El Paso.
Good job Brother, and Thank you for Serving...
I might be headed there =)
Nope. El Paso sucks . I was born & raised. I worked on bliss . Took off to San Antonio.
I can't imagine why you would say that El Paso sucks ? I strongly disagree.

@boobooiswho5661 I don't know where you are but I live in El Paso and I see none of what you say . El Paso is clean and beautiful 🙂
Typical local, can’t appreciate a unique gem.
San Antonio is crime ridden and hot asf with humidity. To each their own
I loved my years at Fort Bliss! El Paso was great in the 90s!
Yes I agree. El Paso has grown a lot in the past few years as well!
El Paso is still great. I would say it's even better today .
Good and helpful !, thanks guys 👍
Super helpful! Thanks guys!
thanks man appreciate it. Lots of great places in EL Paso! Are you near JBLM or where do you live these days?
Used to live there Most overall texmex: Julios Best texmex dish: machaca at kiwis Best overall: desert oaks bbq Best game store: game vault hands down, not even close.
I just had desert oak today. It's so good they have nice large location now with lots of menu options. I prefer L & Js to Kikis personally but they are good as well! Love machaca
@michaelhugheselpasorealtor3531 if you haven't been to julios, try em put. They've got a few EP locations. Favorite dish is the queso fundido con chorizo
@@michaelhugheselpasorealtor3531 they also relleno the heck out of some chiles
hello I hope you are well. I researched your channel and found that your channel has some problems. You need to customize your channel to increase views, subscribers and even monetization. If your channel is a little optimized and if the videos are SEO then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow. Your channel SEO is very low(22.8/100). Do you want to customize? As soon as you upload the video, if SEO is not done, your video will never go viral and will never reach new viewers. I am waiting for your response. Have a nice day. Thanks & regards Aysha
He obviously didn't contact you.😂😂😂😂😂
I just moved away. Glad I left
Kern Place, Sunset Heights and Manhattan Heights are my favorite neighborhoods of El Paso.
Yes they are nice areas for sure. Lots of history as well!
Yep. Definitely have some beautiful buildings down there and I love the atmosphere in those areas!
Great video and very informative. The market has changed quite a bit, and you bring up great points here
Thank you appreciate it!
Contact me if you have any questions about buying or selling a home!
it's great to hear people that are not sinical comment on a place you are about to live in, thank you for your video and service.
Thank you someone tell that to @texasdadbod lol 😂
Are you guys under duress or experiencing stockholm syndrome ? FT Bliss is cool and all but El Paso has nothing to do but drink and eat a rotation of different foods with tortillas and cheese cooked several different ways and an airport to escape cause you know it’s horrible . Other than that waking up to blow sand off your porch and thinking tumbleweed’s are enough green any human really needs or almost getting plowed into by someone crossing over three lanes exiting the last minute to the nearest GWalmart is very stressful. No amount of hiking in Mckelligon Canyon , dirt bike riding in red sands or Golfing in the El Paso Country Club while drunk as hell can make me stay! Only real reason Soldiers stay there is because they got an El Paso girl pregnant and she won’t leave because her entire family is there and she refuses to live anywhere Mexican food isn’t “ Authentic” . 😅 FT Hood is obviously trash but if you leave there alive you can move to Georgetown rite outside of Austin which is also a military community and way way nicer than El Paso . You can actually see real water if you still remember what it’s like and fish 😮 and ride on boats /jet skis and drive 20 minutes down to Austin where there are so so many green trees 🌲 and rivers and lakes and tons of different ethnicities and culture’s everywhere not just on base 😅. It’s either live in a place with bad traffic and sandy mountains as scenery or live in a place with bad traffic and everything El Paso wishes they had and scenery on top of that . 😅
Is fort bliss that bad, I'm 19d and that's where I go
I don't think so lol opinions may vary some people really like it some people really hate it. It's what you make of it in my opinion. I'd rather be here than Sill, Polk, Drum, etc. but everyone has different preferences@@unknownhero1785
@@michaelhugheselpasorealtor3531its pretty cool so far
It's a great desert 🏜 city. Sure, we have a season of dust storms, but I'll take that over earthquakes, hurricanes, icestorms, snowstorms, ect. For the size of the city it's also extremely safe. As far as Mexican food, it's as authentic as it gets. It's Mexico's Northern region food style. Also, tortillas are like the bread of Italian food. But I'm sorry if you ate the same thing, I can't help you with that. It's also very affordable compared to other texas cities. The juarez airport is right next door, so if you want to travel and you have a low budget, then the Mexican airport is the way to go. You're right about the water, but to compare the city to a lush area is like saying that the jungle sucks because they never get snow. I also thought the traffic was bad in El Paso, until I came back from Dallas.
I agree, we have been here 10 years. Lots of cool local areas to explore. I'm still finding fun things to do that are new! @@unknownhero1785
Thanks for the video
My pleasure thank you!
Hey, I hope you are having a good time! I am a professional Digital Marketer and SEO specialist. I visited your RUclips channel and And watching your videos, your videos are great but I found some issues due to which the video is not reaching the targeted audience. can i chat with you about your channel?
Great content guy! Please discuss /verify if there’s an On Base High School and housing for SGM Academy. Thanks.
There is housing for the Sgt’s Major Academy. Many people attending live on post or at apartments in the NE. I suppose it depends on whether you’re US Army or IMSO also.
yes definitely @@BurnProcessMedia
thanks appreciate it! I'll need to do a video for my next video
Not sure about now,, but when I was ther, they had elementary school on post. SGM Academy housing was also available.
"promo sm" 💯
I wouldn’t buy a house, from a realtor who says some far fetched reasons why not to move to El Paso. It’s obvious your not a native El Pasoan .. El Paso has a great diversity of people. You definitely need more experience.
ok
Do me a favor and watch some of my other videos, I agree with you on what you said and I do like El Paso a lot which you would see on my channel if you watched all the videos. You are right I wasn't born here but I chose to stay because I like the city and the people. Wish you nothing but the best.
Love it!! Thanks for your support for veterans!
Thank you!
Take a shot every time he says "close to Fort Bliss"
Definitely not a Killeen lol
Not at all! lol
Great video! How is the 79928 area code?
Can you recommend any builders that build 6 bedroom homes out on the west side?
Another interesting thing is that a portion of El Paso is in TX 23, which is currently represented by a Republican. While our city government is largely progressive, our current mayor and one or two reps that are much more moderate. Perhaps the best thing about El Paso politics is that most El Pasoans do not get inflamed by political differences.
Thank you! Yes I think you are exactly right.
We moved to El Paso last year from a bright red area in rural northeast Texas. It has been a breath of fresh air so far. Here, we're just one of many interracial couples, and not a sideshow for closeted (and not so closeted) racists.
Trust me I miss el paso, currently in East texas 😢
I moved from the North East, to the West Side! I do NOT regret it 🥺😍
Can you elaborate on why the move was better for you?
I graduated from El Paso High. It’s not haunted.
I know lol. I've heard that from some people in the past though in passing. I don't believe in any of that stuff
Only hiking I did was on my horse along the Rio Grande. Left in1997 and miss the Mexican food. I see El Paso has really grown now. People are great in El Paso. Miss that.
Excellent video! You introduced me to some places I wasn't familiar with and now I really want to try them!
Awesome! Love to hear that
Love this part of the city and great video as always. Please cover The Willows and the El Paso Country Club (79922) areas of the city.
Thank you appreciate it. I think that will be one of the next videos I do that's a good idea.
good idea!
Thanks...this was very informative. If I decide to buy, I'll be in touch! 😊
Thank you I'd be happy to help! Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions!
I'm ready! I'm loving it here...arrived in November from NJ. Beautiful scenery here, flowers, cactus. It is hot, but beats humidity any day. That’s what the pool is for...like being on vacation every daytime! The winter was wonderful.
Just leave your politics in New Jersey. We don’t need anymore democraps here
