We have a free council AC charger near us and some folks are regularly leaving their cars charing past the 4 hour limit. Like leaving their cars 8-12 hours overnight. How can we try and encourage people to not do this sort of behaviour? Please lets keep things polite and civil. 🙏🏻

I would love to get it for my MY, but I don't think it's suitable for a single person :D I sometimes camp in the car in random locations, need to find camping locations near Canberra where I live to use this tent One thing I don't like about their website is I'm not sure if the currency is USD or AUD, even if the url has /en-au/ I'd imagine the prices are in AUD but I think they're still USD, making it confusing to know what the actual price is.
In regards to the USD Vs AUD thing, yeah, I had to put it in my cart to see that it was USD and not AUD. But I'd image like most companies they focus more on the US market and so that's their default? 🤷🏻 I am pretty much the opposite of a tent expert, but I think you could use this on your own, but obviously, it would take a bit more time to setup. In the instructional video they have, it's one person setting it up.

Do you have a breakdown of the total cost of the charging for the trip?
I don't, but most charging stops would have been between $15-$25. Though this was over a year ago and the price of charging has gone up a bit.

Wow $700 off the purchase price. What an incentive and big deal. If you're keen on a Tesla you'd be better off buying a used one a couple of years old when the depreciation has settled than the token incentive on offer.

Why do they take it away in the first place?
No idea, but if I had to guess, I think they use the referral programme to increase sales, Which I appreciate it pretty obvious. ☺️ So I think maybe when sales are going well, they don't need the programme and so they remove it and then when sales are a bit slower, they bring it back. It's probably not that simple, but that could be one of the reasons.

Thanks for the sub, unfortunately I don't know of any way to connect a keyboard to the display. But if you're looking for an easier way to search for things in the nav, you can send a destination from your phone to your car.
I have a Tesla model 3 2019 version. I don’t have the park assist feature in my menu, what is going on ?
I'm sorry, I have no idea. When you say "park assist" do you mean how it beeps when you get close to objects and shows your distance from them?
I mean being able to use the option of Tesla Vision. I have the advanced autopilot. Feel like us Australians are being left behind by US peers

Hi Lee, take a break, your audience will hang around. When youtube becomes a chore STOP. Myself and Kaz are taking a break. We might come back next year if we feel like it. RUclips has forgotten about the small channels. Years ago when you opened up the RUclips Homepage, you would see few small channels pop up. But today, just all the big channels. You put out an episode and get lots of views for 3 days then it stalls. RUclips says post once a week. Myself and Kaz say No, I don’t think so. Do what makes yourself and your family happy. Don’t be a slave to the algorithm. I am still a fan of your channel, you are much more natural on camera than I am. Cheers Shane EV4ME. “Grumpy old guy tech” has a nice ring to it. :)
Thanks mate, I was considering grumpy old tech guy, but I’m trying to keep it as short as possible and this way if people complain about how much I ramble I can just point at the sign. 🤣 I’d be lying if I said the numbers didn’t matter to me and yeah, I’ve seen the channel’s growth steadily slow over the last 8 months as I was putting more and more work into it. Hopefully with the new channel I can try to have more fun and not worrry too much about the numbers. Easier said than done, but will try. 😀

I enjoy your videos but I completely understand the feeling of it feeling like a job. I mostly make videos about working on cars and thats what I do for work too haha... but in all seriousness I enjoy your channel so I hope to see some videos in the future when you want to make videos again. I also love road trips, however until I got my tesla I never really bothered filming the trips, but the charging network and journey in a tesla tells a story at least so look forward to making more myself

I got made redundant a couple of months ago and the break I'm having is really giving me a chance to reassess life and whats important to me.
