Saramonic Ultra Wireless Mic System Review
I have an in depth look at the Saramonic Ultra Wireless Mic system. This is targeted at folks who are keen to take their audio game up a few notches. It has some really great features and a few “interesting” quirks.
They do feature some pretty impressive specs such as 32bit float on mic recording, Timecode, IPX5 water resistance and more.

This is such dad content 😁 loved you two together always fun
What a coincidence, we are both dads. 🤣 Thanks. 🙏🏻
The handshake action to turn the torch on has been a neat Motorola trick for a while and it's an absolutely fantastic feature when you live in a remote area and misjudge how long it's going to take you to walk home!😄Thanks for the review - I've been a Moto fan for several years and was tossing up whether to buy the Neo. Your video is a great help.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the video. You don’t have to live in a remote area. I would find it useful to find the bathroom from my bed in the middle of the night. 🤣
Note they are sending them back to China on the docks as of 6 months ago as people opt for petrol diesel cars for family safety

Thanks Phil, hope you don't mind me calling you Phil. 😉 The weight loss is very intentional and may look sudden by these videos, but it's actually happening pretty slow and steady. ☺️ Ideally I'd lose another 10kg, but I don't think that will actually happen so whatever else I can lose and hopefully keep it off will be good for my health and lifestyle.

Sorry, I can't help you with that. This is the first Neo I have tried so I don't know what the previous one was like, so can't compare. Then again, I think it's still on sale for just under $400 which is a really good price for a phone like this I rekcon.

I would be good with a phone as small as it is folded. i just want a small smart phone
That would be interesting. I am not sure I could deal with a screen that small all the time. Handy for quick things, but I think most folks would still want the larger display too?
Perhaps that would work well as a transport to a quality outside DAC or AVR. cheers.

I’m an Apple Fan-grrl (lol!). I have Apple EVERYTHING! A brand new Macbook Air M3, several iPhones, Apple Watch, AirPods Pro 2, iPad Pro with Apple Pencil & Apple Magic Keyboard, AirTags and an Apple TV. I have at least one of every single Apple caterogy of product. Like I said, I’m a complete Apple fangirl; no kidding. I’ve been waiting sooo long for an iPhone flip phone but I got tired of waiting and snagged a brand new Motorola Razr 50/2024 (non-plus model) two weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier! I got it for a steal at $199 USD (plus tax)! I had to buy one because that price is insane. This phone is phenomenal! I love the fully useable front smaller screen. Like you said, you can just pull it out of your pocket and do everything you need to do right there on the smaller screen without even having to fold open the phone. I love the cool gesteres and features Motorola added like the 2x chop for the flashlight and the 2x twist for the camera and the 5 fingers/palm to take a picture, etc. Soooo neat and so useful. The camera is good- though low-light/night shots could be better and that can be addressed in a simple firmware update. The video cam mode holding it sideways is amazing and helps me to take steady video shots... I’m just in love with this flip phone. I get compliments on it everywhere I go. People are so intrigued and curious about it since flip phones are rare in the wild, lol. I’m still keeping my iPhone(s) for now as a backup phone but the Motorola Razr 50/2024 is now my everyday carry. You shouldn’t let your Apple fanboy-ism stop you have enjoying what argueably is the best foldable/flippable on the market and a darn good, solid phone.
For $199, it’s a really good deal. Not sure that low light can be solved with firmware. Sometimes we are trying to fight the laws of physics there. 🤣 Very glad to hear you’re enjoying your new phone so much. 😀
Thanks, very helpful. We just got a PW2 (for basically free) through our local utility. We live in an area with frequent power outages, like monthly, which is why the utility has the program. It is my understanding we do not necessarily want to be using the powerwall during peak rate time (to lower our bill) as that is going to drain the battery and if we were to get an outage the battery would run out sooner. The whole point of the program was to have emergency back up power in event of outages. So does than mean we should set our reserve to 80% or something like that. The utility does not give any guidance on the app settings, which is why I came to RUclips.
Lucky you to get it for practically free. If your main goal is to have backup power for when there is an outage then yes, setting the reserve to 80% could be a good idea. Do you have solar or only the battery? We are lucky that we have solar and battery and we don't use that much power and so at least in Summer we can pretty much get away with living our lives as normal, even having AC on in two rooms all night. And we use maybe 70%-80% of the battery overnight before the sun comes up and we start putting power back in from the solar panels. So for us, we do use the battery for not having to use power during peak times (we haven't paid for power since we got the battery over a year ago) And we also are pretty well covered for outages. Of course if there is an outage we cut down on our power use overnight just incase it's cloudy the next day and the battery doesn't refill completely.
@@notacarguy_au We do you have solar, that we paid for. I agree, we likely could get away with using the powerwall off peak during the summer when the panels are generating electiricity, but in our overcast rainy winters and shorter days when we are using electicity for the heat pump and lights and such then we would want to be at 80% reserve for an outage.
Hello, I would like to discuss a potential collaboration with you. Could you kindly share your email address so we can connect further?
That hat is a stunner. Melbourne cup next year!
🤣
Hi Lee, the hat doesn't look that great, but I can certainly see its benefits. And let's be honest, for the sake of looking a bit geeky, it might be the difference between life and death if you're lost, or stuck somewhere with no power. It'd be a hat I'd keep in the car or backpack for emergencies. Just a quick question, does the hat fold down to a reasonable size?
Reasonable is a rather relative term. 🤣🤷🏻♂️ when folded in the bag it’s a triangle, but about the size of an A4 piece of paper. So not pocketable, but easy to store in the car. Not in the centre console or glove but in the boot or frunk if you have one. (That’s where I’m keeping mine. 😉)
As a long term subscriber, I love watching all your videos mate - regardless of what you're reviewing or talking about! Thank you.
Hi Lee, seeing you're an Apple fanboi, how does the overall feel compared to a pro max? I would be a little concerned about that screen fold over time. I would have thought it would fatigue over time.
It’s interesting that you ask that. I did have the same thought. But I used and abused the phone for 3 weeks and no issues. Of course I can’t say how it would be over a year or two. But doing a short Google, didn’t suggest it was an issue for folks who have these phones long term.
It does feel a bit more “plastically” thank the Pro Max. But then again it’s about half the price and a lot lighter. So I guess I am not sure it’s a fair comparison.
@@notacarguy_au I guess only time would tell. I like the concept, btw, but when it's opened out, it's enormous, lol.

Nice videos guys, this is your 4th video that i am watching now to prepare myself for a trip during Christmas holidays to Sydney from Brisbane in Model Y RWD which i am going to get in a couple of weeks. I have travelled long distance many a times in ICE vehicles, would a first EV trip though. 🤞 ... Sidenote, 15:07, its OCR converting images to text and can easily read alphabets if programmed that way.
Thanks Rev, glad you've found it helpful. Hope your trip goes well on Xmas. I think the charging situations is only getting better and better very quickly.
Just to point out to everyone, the clips were installed incorrectly which caused a lot of his issues. I'm guessing the didn't read the manual properly since its specifies that you have to only put 1x clip on the center front and 1x in the center back. The remaining 4x clips are used by placing 2x in the center front (left and right) and 2x in the center back (left and right). This will provide better hold and should be enough to use the sunshade while driving without any issues. This product is by far better than tons of other ones online.
Yes, the manual was not read.
Was looking forward to getting an EV but after seeing this video I'm thinking maybe a plug in hybrid is the way to go. Ev mode for most day to day driving and petrol for long trips to avoid range anxiety. I think battery technology needs to get to 1000 km for range anxiety to not be a thing anymore.
You do what you think is going to work for you, but I think you're wrong. I don't know many cars of any type that have 1000km range, do you? This whole 1000km range thing I think is silly. I am sure that there are people out there who could benefit from that kind of range in a single battery/tank, but most people don't even remotely need it. Also this was over a year ago, things have only gotten better. 🤷🏻
@ my thought process is if you're trying to keep the battery between 20% and 80% which you should be doing for the longevity of the battery. That gives you anywhere from 500km to 650km of usable range depending on how you drive it. It also means you have 20% in reserve in case of emergency and a further 20% if you plan ahead and charge to 100%. Youd be able to do your melbourne to sydney trip with one recharge stop which means no planning ahead, just pull off and recharge whenever you need a break from driving, instead of timing your breaks around the car needing a charge. For me personally i live in perth so i dont imagine the charge network will be as good as melbourne and certainly not as good from perth to albany as it is from melbourne to sydney. The getting better bit is exactly why I'm thinking a hybrid might be the better option.... The byd shark is looking very enticing.
@@matt09ward Different strokes for different folks. I find generally the car can go longer before it needs a top up than my bladder needs an "empty down"? 🤣 The family and I did a trip this April for Melbourne to Gold Coast and back. We found it's totally doable, but think we aren't really the "drive for two days" type family. Regardless of how we drive there, I think we will fly longer distances like that next time. ☺ In regards to the 20%-80% state of charge for the battery longevity. Our car has a LFP battery, so not an issue charing up to 100% regularly. We only do to around 80% on long drives as it takes longer to get from 80%-100% so quicker to stop charging at 80% and get going.
Hey mate, with these heaps of credits.. you should probably give out these scale models to your subscribers?
I have looked into something like this, but the last time I ran a giveaway it was way too much trouble than it was worth. Having said that, I may change my tune as it gets closer to the time that they all expire and I need to spend them in a hurry. ☺🤷🏻
Axtually the cheapest model y you can buy is the Mattel one for like $2 😁😆
You make a very good point, though from my perspective this didn't cost me any money. But I think I am trying to be a bit too clever about that, so you're right. ☺️

Hey Lee great video as always!! Just bought a Model Y RWD and loving it. Would you mind if I put my referral code up?
HI, no not all, happy for you to put up your code. Glad to hear you're enjoying your Model Y. ☺️
Having just joined the tesla family (mainly coz of youtubers like you), I haven't had anyone to use my referral code on so ain't got any credits. But thanks for sharing this, that model y diecast looks amazing. I bought a matchbox model y for my son the other day from Coles and he loves driving his model y inside papa's actual model y. :) If you have extra credits, why not do a giveaway! I'd love to win a key fob or that sick model y diecast! Haha Take care Lee, always glad to watch your content!
Hope you’re enjoying your new EV. I’m not sure how I could giveaway the credits and would have to check the T&C if I am allowed to. I tried a giveaway a while back on a previous video and frankly it was a bit of a mess. At the risk of sounding a bit selfish, it really wasn’t worth the hassle from my perspective. 🤷🏻♂️
@notacarguy_au I am. It's truly amazing how different the model y drives compared to all the ICE cars I've driven before. I'd have imagined you'd ship to a different address on your order for but I could be trivialising things. Regardless, thanks again for your content Lee. As I commented in your earlier vid, rushing out content for the sake of meeting schedules is gonna have a negative effect on you so trust that your viewers are gonna be happier with quality over quantity. (and keep them bloopers coming! They're as entertaining as the actual content!) Love your work! Looking forward to the next one, whenever it releases. :)
Did you buy all these items yourself, or used credits for it? How you had all of them in your office to actually show us …Or did Tesla send you for promotion purposes?
I used referral credits for them. I can’t afford to buy anything in this economy. 🤣😭
Interesting. I clicked through your referral link just for interest's sake, it went to the US website and popped up with "Lee's code gives you a grand off" then I change location to Aus and it pops up "Lee's code gives you $350 off....!!" C'mon, Elon.... that's like six bucks
LOL, it's not often I hear authentification, I thought it was a mispronunciation and spell checker doesn't even like it, so being a word nerd I looked it up. Here is the meaning: As nouns the difference between authentication and authentification. is that authentication is something which validates or confirms the authenticity of something while authentification is the process of making, or establishing as, authentic. I wish I had some points, I have absolutely none, haha.
That makes two of us. 🤣
I like your videos but can you please stop with the self-flagellating introduction

Do you have to drill quite a chunk on your door? One thing I don't like with these digital locks is the flexibility of changing to another model or brand. I find that the samsung ones would have the same drill holes as you would on the regular door locks.
It was s decent chunk, but I'm guessing we can fill it if we need to down the track. At least for now, we are still very happy with the lock.
Thank you
You're welcome! 😊
How was the battery life for this lock
Really good, I only top it up about every 6 months and it's about at 20% when I do that.
I only wish the car had better paint and rust protection
I totally agree with that.
