What about if you can't push the plastic cage back up and get the 10 mm bolt in. The clips at the top open from the back. I put the glove compartment back in and everything seems fine but the cage isn't completely secure. I don't hear anything moving behind the glove compartment and the locks still work fine...any thoughts?

Great channel!!! Were you able to have sound for apple carplay WITHOUT running the Aux cable from the harness to the Aux outlet in the armrest?! See people having sound issues with carplay (phone, Messages, directions form maps/google maps, etc.). Also, do steering wheel controls work with this unit (long press phone for siri, scroll wheel for scrolling, etc.)?

HI! I carried out the same procedure, and a limit appeared on the speedometer. But when searching for KOMBI HUD_PIA_SPEED_LIMIT, ESYS does not find anything, HUD is installed f30 2015.

I appreciate the video. I almost spent $700 on a box to get Android Auto in my m235. You have to use the dumb wheel to navigate everything on the screen. In my last 330, I used the wheel exactly 0 times, cause it's a touchscreen... You can get a retrofit touchscreen that does everything the blue box does for like $230.

Hello, woch cable is that what is going into the ethanol sensor? Is it the Harness ECA-2 to Flex Fuel Sensor from zeitronix?

Great video with explanation. To fit in the box on the right side of the ventilation was really tight, but I managed to get it there. Then to get the BMW audio unit in.... You need to fit in all cables really good before you can put it back. Overall, few hours work and it works perfectly. My F31 2013 didn't need the AUX jack. Fibre cable is needed in the new harness indeed.
