I'm just a big fan of The Band
The channel came about because there was a time when I was very interested in The Band bootlegs, and it bothered me that they weren't as accessible, so I decided to publish them so that any fan of The Band looking for those bootlegs would find them easier.
¡IMPORTANT!
If anyone thinks they have footage (audience or professional) or an audience recording that no one else has (or that I haven't published) and wants to make it public, they can contact me maximilianoruidiaz03@gmail.com

Richard Manuel at the studio 1985
Просмотров 3363 месяца назад
I don't know where or when the songs were recorded. These songs were an extra to Richard Manuel's live album, "Whispering Pines" in which there are three piano instrumentals by Richard Manuel and finally a blues base in which the singer is Manuel's dog, Mitzi. Listening to Live At The Gateway again I realized that Richard always asked after each song which one they wanted him to sing (that's ho...

What I think are leftovers from The Last Waltz

I remade the video since I saw that other songs were being clearly recorded and now I relied on the black and white footage I decided to make this video (partly for the 47th anniversary of the concert) since after watching it several times I keep noticing that there are some songs that are clearly being recorded, so seeing what there is I decided to take the clips of songs that do not appear in...

Dylan " made " The Band. after the touring and the " Big Pink " sessions, about a year later Dylan visited and they played a couple of these songs ... Dylan said " you wrote this ?" !!!
Great song, long live the old south
Levon Helm didn’t have a great voice but he was a great singer.
Absolutely sublime. One of my fave live recordings of all time. Get this is dvd and enjoy. It's a crazy good album/video
I don't know why they would stop playing together?? Like what did they do after that?
So great to have these guys on film now that they're gone 😢
Music just isn't done like this anymore but maybe it'll come back around 😮
A Very Heart Felt Soulful Dixie Song.
Furry Lewis @ Peanut’s Tuesday. Dylan & Band Wednesday. Billy Joel Friday Lafayette’s. Laissez les bons temps ☕️
RIP jimmy carter ! They sang that song for him that night, prior to the usa president election in 1976 .
Levon…! It was the last waltz for RR…! They played for many yrs without RR! And we’re much better off!! Love Atlantic City!! Springsteen song that Levon performed better than Bruce.
Rock it Van
What a awesome song
Garth the sole survivor.
MY FOLKS CSA , AFTER THE WAR THEY LIVED IN POVERTY
The amount of records this line up has sold would make it to the moon and back 😊
This is my all time favorite song by the band. It digs deep into my heart. I would watch this concert every eveing on my vhs tape. I still have it. Long long time Band fan.
RIP LEVON HELMS AND ROBBIE ROBERTSON
Hos voice reminds me of John Anderson, the country star.
The south will rise again !!!
Richard Manuel's apparently impromptu solo makes the performance fly beyond the musical horizon to heaven.
The way the song starts is so casual and great. It feels like it just starts... Also, Johnny Michiel's serious expression is great.
Superb. You can see the entire band enjoying this song the look on the faces of pure joy. Caravan is my favourite Van Mo song and this version is equal to the Too Late to stop Now version which is a great album btw. Also biggest respect to The Band they are total Brilliance throughout The Last Waltz.
Holly Fuck. Unbelievable talent…😊
History in the making whether people wanna admit it or not so many funky bois playing and firing on all cylinders
My best memory from Watkins Glenn
I wish I had never found out that Robertson insisted on having a dead mic. Turns out he couldn't sing a lick. Great guitar player and songwriter though.
I can still remember the first time I heard them sing this, it really struck a nerve.
I don’t have a clue why he wasn’t more included in the Last Waltz. Both Rick and Levon said he was the lead singer in The Band
neil young was such a douche. never knew when to give way to other musicians, not to mention a terrible soloist . what a clown
and his singing is garbage too
I was here man loved that summer saw all these great. Band that summer was an experience 😊
I was there, singing along with the gods!
Was outside the doors --- not enough $ for the $25 door ---concerts were about $ 5++ so it got cold as i walked away to the jam of the Century
Joni & Bob
Beautiful
Interesting that Garth is the only one still with us.

Here it's December 2024, I still love this song.
So, so good, wonderful vocal, delivery and phrasing, thank you for sharing
You are doing the Lord's work. Just the Last Waltz clips alone are an embarrassment of riches. Could you possibly do a clip of Further On Up the Road? The guitar duel between Clapton and Robbie is the stuff of legend. You would do it justice.☮
And they have met on the other end !
Levon was the best there is , was or will be of a drummer lead.
The South is rising again, a together South, they knew they would enslave us all with the banking empire, we had our own money, they tariffs on out crop's port's and all.
The worst thing in rhe qorld isnt being a white nationalist, doesnt really.exust in any ni.bers, let.alonr a confederate sympathesizer. Being a rapist. Being a prostite to feed a drug addiction. Being a their who ruins peoples.lives. bei g a perso. That beats or abuse children or old.people. a pedophile. And a lying ideologue tryi g to build armies fro. The pha toms ths tlive in their heads and in the plotlines of hollywood storytellers are all worse than actually.being a person who is an actual nationalist or sympathisizer.
Ok here is the big question. At 2.19…is there a ‘the’ in this version…before ‘Robert E Lee’. The published lyrics don’t have a ‘the’, and when Joan Baez covered it she had a ‘the’ because, according to her, she made some mistakes when transposing it from the record. I think Levon Helm here adds a ‘the’ or at least it sounds like there is.
I'm pretty sure that's "there goes ah Robert E Lee"
Yes could be….in any case I’ve decided that Levon Helm never sang ‘the’ Robert E Lee
Who is Bruce Springsteen?
Who's the guy in the pink shirt on the far right??
@@galacruse2318 Ronnie Wood
River runs deep and the last walz unfolding every day since '76. Garth Hudson, a meter of chocolate and all band around know it. The shape of magic. Thanks guys❤..!(from Jujuy,Argentina)
I am, the south ain't quit .
It was sooooo humid- and the music was sublime. ❤❤q
