Just A Account
Добавлен 13 окт 2015
I'm just a big fan of The Band
The channel came about because there was a time when I was very interested in The Band bootlegs, and it bothered me that they weren't as accessible, so I decided to publish them so that any fan of The Band looking for those bootlegs would find them easier.
¡IMPORTANT!
If anyone thinks they have footage (audience or professional) or an audience recording that no one else has (or that I haven't published) and wants to make it public, they can contact me maximilianoruidiaz03@gmail.com

Richard Manuel at the studio 1985
Просмотров 258Месяц назад
I don't know where or when the songs were recorded. These songs were an extra to Richard Manuel's live album, "Whispering Pines" in which there are three piano instrumentals by Richard Manuel and finally a blues base in which the singer is Manuel's dog, Mitzi. Listening to Live At The Gateway again I realized that Richard always asked after each song which one they wanted him to sing (that's ho...

Help me find this bootleg

Since I started this account I have been looking for one of the concerts that The Band gave at the Greek Theater (one is already uploaded to the channel), so much has happened that I came to assume that it must have been a mistake and that the recording never existed. But recently I found on some Japanese blogs that the bootleg really exists! (if you want to look it up, it's called Greek Theate...

What I think are leftovers from The Last Waltz

I remade the video since I saw that other songs were being clearly recorded and now I relied on the black and white footage I decided to make this video (partly for the 47th anniversary of the concert) since after watching it several times I keep noticing that there are some songs that are clearly being recorded, so seeing what there is I decided to take the clips of songs that do not appear in...

Bob Dylan was fucked-up!
Amo esse sommmmmm...nooossaaa como ouvi❤ um dos meus preferidos🎉
I got one word, well actually seven Holy fucking moly, WOW. Thank you God.
My ancestors split their blood in this conflict. But papa Cole n Jessie were very smart and tuff. They made it through it all.
🔥🔥
Wow awesome ,love so much!❤
This is not a call for the Confederacy. It is an anthem of how the wealthy always come out on top. How many poor white farmers owned slaves?? this song is an ode to those poor white farmers who lost their farms, lost their money if they had any, and lost their sons.
Long, long, live the South.
"A drummer shouldn't sing...unless that drummer is Levon Helm".....Elton John
What a fantastic concert!!
All of them Legends..... playing with Legends! Never a time like this kids!
Saw the Band at a Warehouse in New Orleans in 1970. changed my Life Musically. They were Simply the Most Talented Live Act ever Assembled on Earth . Glad I Witnessed it .☮️
For me the highlight of both nights has to be ”Tears of Rage”. Richard sings so well and the horn solos are just marvelous. Obviously it’s great to hear them play live rendition of ”Ring Your Bell” as well although the song isn’t their strongest one.
The absolutely best ever ! Thank you so much I
Just look at what we have become! We lost our way!!!
Levon had one of the most amazing voices in music history
Thank you for sharing - precious footage!
At least you did your best
If we need lights the music failed
Education.This is education.
Haven't heard this version of this song before. It's very nice.
Remember white Supremacists Confederate apologist. It was written by a Canadian who wasnt educated on the civil war at the time. Helm's only advice on the lyrics was to not mention Lincoln. Robertson said himself they didnt teach about that stuff in Canadian schools. He just romanticized the war with his Tennessee Williams loving flair.
Oddly enough, we Canadians know more about American history than we learn of our own history. Curriculum or fascination...questionable. Just a mention from Canada 🇨🇦
3:14 Love for Neil for being his authentic self 💕💕
Richard, clearly fucked up, just kills it. Talent wins out.
Hearing Levon sing this history from his soul reminds me that is an insult to 4:53 require reparations to descendants of slaves. The South paid any debt in the blood of the flower of Southern manhood.
Mudd Du Mekong
Fucking masterpiece.
Don't u cus
Robbie Robertson totally fucked the rest of the band, if Levon had still been conscious, unless he had a last minute change of heart, he'd never have let Robertson in the room. It galls me to hear him call Levon "brother". So much love and respect for Levon! What a fucking talent.
Still have the discharge papers where my great grandfather fought with the fifth volunteer confederate infantry this song silence is my mind in my thoughts and makes me proud, but only to an extent
Unfortunately i woke up thinking of this song today. Sad day.
On the surface, its a song about the Civil War. But on a deeper level, its a song as old as sin. Loss...of life, of hope, of meaning, of a grasp, of the future...and on that level, we can all relate to it.
I met Levon at the Lewiston show in Maine + didn’t know who he was but he remembered me 5 years later in New York ! ❤️🐇🐰
Top 10 of all time !
It don't much matter anymore really
Gotcha, brother..
every body b skinny back den
I wish it was filmed and photographed more. Das 😎 all. 👍
Their goal…
Over populated rabble.
Garth!!♥
There's one thing in the whole wide world I show do love to see, That's how that girl, sweet thing of mine, dips her doughnut in my tea.
Your bass playing is absolutely awesome! Love it! Been listening to Yes since 1972 as a young man in college and you could join them anytime!
Strategically The Percussionist Singing Hai Karen Carpenter! (QX!) Well I Guess That He Was KX! Fox! Rock's Czar! The South Would Not To Submit to a Rewrite and Reset After The Worldwide Cataclysmic Mudflood of 1810-12circa? Was Abe Lincoln The (You) 1/2 Son of A Great! (the 2 1/2 foot tallers) John Wilkes Booth!
The facto is how Robbie and Rick enjoyed backing Van. The highlight of this mercurial farewell.
I'm 73, and every year i live longer, I am more thankful for the music of my generation. Still listening as long as the Good Lord lets me live.
And I do hope thats a long time still to come! Thanks X
Great video, as usual! An instrumental version of The Weight? Would love to hear that! Will you upload it?
And that version of I Shall Be Released sounds interesting too. Richard is not the one singing it?
@@xendmc It was a show that Robbie gave solo after The Last Waltz with another band
Wow, just wow! I’ve always wanted to say that! Butterfield just knocked all the fucking pins down in my head. Holy macadamia!
& that's for every atheist
Nothing has hit me harder than when I lost the love of my life, this song puts into words and music in a way I never could never articulate myself, it brings me to tears every time I hear it...I can say that unashamedly at my 70 years of age.
