I don't know about 50%, but I believe that he should have included all the missing accessories that came with first release for sure. I remember the days when Predator 2-packs cost about $40. @@alanthecollector They really scratch that nostalgic itch, I paired them with Neca's Comic Book Splinter with the soft goods robe. Fits perfectly.

@@all-s0rts I'll have to try that pairing for myself. I also got the Mezco cartoon renditions as well and they fit in really well with NECA's cartoon line too!

As much as I’d like to make customs, I know I’d just mess them up! 😅 But kudos to those who know how to paint and make great custom figures!

This my very first purchase from them, but I recently bought the other two upgrade kits that go with these mech lower legs. They are pricey so I need to be selective in the future, but I’m impressed with what I’ve seen so far.

@@alanthecollector ​​⁠Love it! It’s all the articulation that I personally need. Others may complain about every joint not being able to move but it’s honestly not needed. It’s very posable and like said it can stand on one leg. I actually went and bought 2 more flight pods so that I can pimp them all out. Now I have a total of 6, excluding my 4 python 🐍 patrol ones. The Mech addition is so cool!

They were Walmart exclusives that never made it in store as far as can tell. I got these from preorders only. Hopefully they put these and other figures out again fro those who missed out. I personally would like about seven Snow Serpents.

Your guess is as good as mine. My best guess is that it would be used particularly for hoisting or towing with a chain or a cable.

The color is a bit off, but I was surprised by how close they matched it. The biggest difference aside from the color is the rougher 3D printed texture and matte finish on the legs opposed to the smooth slightly glossy look of the flight pod.

@alanthecollector the Legs look more white and the Pod looks more grey. The Legs do have a less polished look too. If you wanted to fix the color and finish you could probably do it with a tinted polish compound and buffer. To bad the manufacturer didn't do this already. Also, this being an off brand accessory the pricing should have been a little lower too.

@@randyrobineau2699 If I was gifted at painting I may attempted adjusting the color myself, but I'm afraid I'd just ruin it. No arguments about the price though. I'm sure that's one of the biggest reasons why people are going to pass on this set.

It wouldn't be the first time if they did. My guess or hope is that instead of releasing an add-on kit, they would instead make an entirely new Mark-II Flight Pod that would serve as the main body of the and updated S.N.A.K.E. Armor. I would honestly fine if they went that route and I could just use these mechs as prototypes of the concept.

Well in a way you’re kind of right. If you want all three upgrade kits to transform the flight pod into a fully realized mech, it will set you back about $150 before taxes. Each kit costs about $50.

I agree. If each kit was even just $25 a piece, I think it would truly be perfect. When the Mech Lower went up initially, they were about $40 before the price jumped. As cool as it is, that $50 price point is going to scare a lot collectors away unfortunately. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I looked through gridironprops.com and didn’t see any color ways that matched the Python Patrol Flight Pod, but I figure if there is enough demand you’ll see a red and yellow variant of the upgrade kits soon enough.

@alanthecollector I get it the look of it. But for me, I think it just makes more sense to have mine flying because it makes them more mobile. I did see the other upgrades. But they didn't do anything for me. However, all the Vamp upgrades are amazing. Great content. Keep the videos coming, man!

I think it would be a lot like the NECA Movie Splinter in terms of sculpt with much more of a mirage comic flare. I think you could totally expect him to come with four baby turtles, a cane, a sword, a can a mutagen, a soft goods robe and maybe some training equipment and additional weapons for the turtles. I could also see them throwing in some sewer lair props to sweeten the deal.

The Neca Eastman and Laird Splinter from the comic pairs really quite nicely with the Mezco Turtles.

I believe Mondo has a /6 version out. It's nice, but I don't collect that scale and the price is a bit too much for what it is in my opinion. Though it would be the correct scale, I would opt for NECA 8 inch cloth version. It's not nearly as nice as Mondo's but it's a lot more affordable. Thanks for watching!

Sorry to hear about the stress marks. Have you tried heating up the joints or placing the hands in warm water? I've seen others use those methods to get their joints to move more smoothly. I'm eating for replacement eyes as well! Thanks for watching!

I couldn't tell you, but you can find this figure in stores right now at Walmart and Target. They might be a first to retailer release and then be made more widely available on sites like BBTS later.

Totally agree! The "new" Silence of the Lambs figure is being found at Walmart right now, but like the original cult classics release its also a statue.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought this! Some dry brushing really would have gone a long way. It also would have been a nice touch if they threw in a hedge trimmer or a pressure washer given the size of the figure. I have a feeling they’ll make a battle damaged version of her that can rip in half especially if this does well. Thanks for watching!

The tentacles for the dog paws don't actually fit even though the back of the box shows them connected. They can stay in if you press really hard, but they'll fall out very easily. The spider legs should fit in the back fairly easily, but if you're having trouble I'd lightly heat the fur overlay with a hairdryer. They should pop in very easily after that. Let me know if you have any other issues with the figure and thanks for watching!

@@alanthecollector thank you for these suggestions! I eventually managed to assemble it somehow, even though I think I won't touch it again soon as the dog is now in display in my room (and I fear any little bump will result in some parts coming out of their sockets :D)
