I have all four of the first release Turtles, but my Leonardo has a seized left thigh joint, and I'm not about to give him the same treatment as my Rocksteady!

I have and it also works too! It makes Timber look really calm. Though the paint and detail isn't a 100% match, it's still very convincing!

Unfortunately there is no link to provide since these are out of stock at pretty much every major every major online retailer. Your best bet now if you're still interested is to check eBay.

The accessories they chose to leave out is still baffling to me Unfortunately the SDCC exclusive Feral Predator repeats a lot of the same mistakes. I'll, have that review up soon!

I totally agree. I also wound’s have mind if the pizza box was plastic as apposed to card stock paper. an interesting thing about the twirling said is that they were mention in the directions for the first release.

It's definitely a tricky figure to mess around with. I have it posed along side some of my other NECA horror figures. I think you'll be impressed with how intricate it is.

I bought them from @ItsGeekEffect. He makes them himself, plus he runs an awesome RUclips channel. He's definitely worth a follow!

Yes. NECA made several Gypsy Danger including an ultimate figure around 2015. It's pretty old now and despite their detail they can be pretty fragile. Diamond Select Toys made Gypsy Avenger from the second film, but they also made a pretty decent Gypsy Danger too! It originally retailed for $29.99 in 2023, but he can be pretty hard to find these days.I hope this helps.

😂 McFarlane do have noticeable pins, but personally don’t care whether a figure is pinless as long as it looks good, and this figure certainly does.

@@alanthecollector normally they don't bug me too much, but something about it being a warhammer model that they turned into a figure made it bother me a little more than it usually would.

That's the Tyrannosaurus Sentry from the Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection. It came out in 2021 and was exclusive to Target. These specifically came from the boom studios comics. They served as the personal army for Lord Drakkon. They are pretty cool figures, especially when grouped together like this! I hope that helps!

Very good insights on these figures. I didn’t care much for their designs on the pages of the boom studio comics, but they translate very well into action figure.

You mean the Utrom with android body from the NECA Mirage TMNT comics? Unfortunately, I don’t have that figure. I need to track a few of them down. However, I do have a few other great army builders from the cartoon and movie TMNT figure line. Hopefully you’ll stick around for some of those !

Other than the missing access accessories, the Bloody Feral Predator is pretty nice figure! I’m looking forward to reviewing the SSCC Cloaked Feral predator to see how the two figures compare.

The dinos you are referring to are mousers. I do believe they were featured in that arcade game, but these specifically based off the 80's cartoon series. NECA put out an army builder pack a few years back. I'll be showcasing them here soon! Thanks for watching!

I wouldn’t go that far, but to each their own. There is definitely a good vehicle here, but it could have been a lot better. However, when you consider bang for your buck, it’s still a better offering dollar for dollar when you consider what other companies offer regularly. Most wouldn’t even attempt a vehicle this size at retail. Again, that’s not to say McFarlane couldn’t have stepped it up. Thanks for your thoughts and for watching!

Exactly. The only good thing about this release is that it’s technically a better version of the figures that came out in the early 2000s. During San Diego Comic-Con NECA revealed that they’re also re-releasing the gurney version where Hannibal Lecter is strapped up with his face mask. Outside of the updated deco, there’s nothing new.

I’m glad you were able to snag one! One thing about Mcfarlane exclusives is that usually you only have one good opportunity to get them easily at the start and then after that they never wind up releasing again. I knew I would likely regret if I passed the Tumbler up, so the choice was easy for me! It’s my favorite Batmobile as well! Thanks for watching!

I'm right with you! It's definitely good for what it is, but a little more effort would have gone a long way. The Tumbler itself is really only $70-75, so I wonder what McFarlane would have given us if they skipped out in Lucius and put the extra money into more details and features.

I bet you out could repurpose parts from McFarlane's Princess Bride figures along with some custom soft goods and I imagine you would be half way there!

I knew I couldn't pass this one up when it went up fro preorder. I'm glad to have it as it's probably my favorite Bat Mobile of all the films. I also have the camp version preordered, but Amazon is delaying the fulfillment for some reason.

Thanks for your feedback! I'm really happy with the Tumbler, but I think McFarlane could have splurged just a bit more to make it feel a bit more deluxe.

I don't collect their 1/4 scale figures, but that would be a sight to behold. Come to think of it Outside of their 1/4 TMNT Movie and Cartoon Figures, they really haven't put much emphasis on that scale. They just announced a 1/4 better Juice, but that is just a rerelease of a figure from well over a decade ago at this point!

I 100% agree. That's the biggest reason I did the head swaps. Just imagine if they gave us articulated figure based on his different looks from the film. You could squeeze out at least three different figures as far as I'm concerned. If you do get the figure let me know if you try the head swaps for yourself!

I don’t really have any standard sized Marvel Selects in my collection, but I do own quite a few diamonds select offerings. He’s about eight inches so I imagine he should be about a half inch to an inch taller than most Marvel Selects. I hope this helps!

They've been doing it a lot lately and not just with older Cult Classics figures like Beetle Juice and House of A 1000 Corpses. I believe the recently released Ultimate Lily Munster figure is a statue below the waist and I'm 95% sure NECA new Krampus figure will only have articulation only in the arms and head and maybe the torso for the price of $100...

I 100% agree! I really hope this review gains more traction to let NECA that if they plan on reviving the Cult Classics library of figures then we want those older figures upgraded with modern articulation. Thanks for watching!

No Problem. I didn't go in depth about how they are used in this review, but I did during my video on the original Mezco boxset. Learning more about the weapons is half the fun sometimes.

Good points all around. I get that Mezco always takes liberties with their figure designs especially when the property doesn’t have just one definitive look. However, since these are animated inspired, I would have appreciated if they gave us more animated inspired accessories beyond the extra heads. Were you able to scoop up their Casey Jones? I was lucky enough to snag one. Thanks for leaving your thoughts!

@@Mr767267 I think they'll definitely get to them as well as April and Bebop and Rocksteady. And could you imagine Kraang and his Android body. That would be nuts! But I have a feeling those figures would be store exclusives. I would be down for all of those, but I think I would have to tap out on the Foot Ninja if they ever get to them. I just can't imagine army building for $100+ a pop.

@@alanthecollector Kraang would be great too. I think Foot soldiers would have less chance to be done as it's a commoner. If they do they might do a $120 double pack with more focus on weapons etc. Still, I feel it's hard to happen.

I will say it does look a lot better in hand. The promotional images didn't do them justice. However, the odd accessory choices and lack of soft goods, make you wonder why Mezco charged the same amount as the original boxset.

I really wonder what the thought process was behind that decision. I think for the price they really could have added an extra head for each of the turtles, especially since they didn't include any soft goods with this set.

Hmm... that's about $640 USD. Personally, unless you really love the look of these turtles I wouldn't go much past $100 to $150 over retail. $200 over retail is the absolute max, but you really have to be sure you want it that badly. Honestly, as good as these figures are I think you should wait for a better deal or another good variation of the Turtles from Mezco. I hope that helps! Thank you of watching!

I bought the first mezco set. They were great and I didn't mind paying AU $850 for it. But I can't justify doing the same for these, especially with their lack of accessories. Would have been good if these figures each came with a hat and trench coat

And yes, if they do another variation, like a mirage style with red bandanna, I will consider buying them

@@lukeluck1395 I think I would be down for a third mirage set with red bandanas. I've heard some say they'd also be down for a black and white variant, but I think that's where I would tap out.
