Nee hoor zeker niet gestopt. Ik heb nog heel wat beeldmateriaal liggen van voorbije leuke MTB trips maar ik heb er voorlopig de tijd nog niet voor gevonden om ze te editten. Ik probeer er werk van te maken 😉

Vandaag deze toer gereden. Zeker een aanrader! Het stukje boven de cinema in Aarschot mag je ondertussen niet meer door met de fiets. Ik heb de route wat uitgebreid vanuit mijn vertrekpunt Scherpenheuvel. Geëindigd met 61km en 675hm.
@@GunterLuyten wauw mooie toer met de 61km Gunter! Inderdaad dat stuk in Aarschot is op dit moment niet meer toegankelijk. Jammer want het is een tof stukje. Hopelijk gaat het in de toekomst terug open.

I cycled recently a big part of the trail. There are many spots that have deteriorated, since the video was taken, especially if you go more into the MTB paths, so take care people.

@@manoumaudgal Hello! No, just in some places, I think the excessive raining of this year has destroyed part of the path! Even so it's completely rideable (with some caution).
There's not a whole lot of single track on this route. Most of the trails are gravel, asphalt or cobblestones. You could drive a car over most of the trails here. It's a picturesque trail so try it if you like 'old school' mountain biking. But go elsewhere if you want single track.

you had to try "Red Rock" routes in the south of Luxembourg. For me,these are quite better than Müllerthal. A lot more of trails,even technical.

Mooie beelden. Was vroeger een vaste mtb-stek voor mij. Het bos in Everberg is ook leuk speelterrein voor techniektraining.

@@manoumaudgal Aan de Prinsendreef (kasseibaan die begint aan Leuvense Steenweg richting Stonemanor). Moorsel bos wat verderop is ook leuk. Een deel met 'putten/kraters' om je in uit te leven, maar zou naar verluidt gesloten zijn voor mtb'ers.

Hey Manou, I hope you are well. We are attempting the gold next weekend and we hope to finish it in time. I just have a quick question regarding the route. I know you have to reach the checkpoints for the stamps but is it possible to ride alternate routes along the track? Say for example there is a gravel descent (official Stoneman track) or a single track descent, can we ride the single track as well? or are they very strict and check the route through our gpx data? Many thanks for your helpful videos regarding Stoneman, this has helped us as a group prepare! Keep up the good work!
Hi there! Thanks for reaching out and glad to hear my tips were useful for you. To answer your question: no, there are no checks on your gpx data. The only “proof” are the stamps from the checkpoints on your card. However, I would personally just follow the official route because making some small detours along the way can easily end up costing you a lot of extra time in the end. Good luck with your Stoneman Gold adventure!

@@manoumaudgal great tip , it was hard enough as it is. Especially the route between Ouren and Grüfflingen. I was ready to quit...the bakery near the ruins of Burg Reuland saved us with coca cola and ice cold water 🤣 we got the gold after 15hrs of riding 💪🏽

Hey! Ik zou deze route graag met een vriend van mij willen fietsen. Maar ik krijg de GPX-file van deze route niet geopend. Programma's waarmee ik normaal de GPX-files open herkennen het bestand niet. Is het mogelijk dat u de GPX-file naar mij toe mailt?
Hey Abel, dat komt omdat het een .zip bestand is dat je downloadt. Je moet het bestand nog “uitpakken” om tot de gpx file te komen die je kan gebruiken. Op Mac dubbelklik je gewoon op het zip bestand, de gpx file zal verschijnen. Op microsoft: support.microsoft.com/nl-nl/windows/bestanden-zippen-en-uitpakken-8d28fa72-f2f9-712f-67df-f80cf89fd4e5

Hi Miguel! Op zich is de trail niet zo technisch dus dat zit wel ok voor jou. Maar de route heeft best wel wat hoogtemeters en is ook niet kort in km. Dus hou hier wel wat rekening mee. Maar je moet ergens beginnen natuurlijk dus ik zou zeggen rij hem gwn eens op je gemak en nee voldoende tijd! Je kan de gpx gewoon downloaden via mijn website gpxadventures.com veel plezier 🤘🏻

Hi! Yes that is correct. But it’s better to ride the route in the opposite direction than we did because otherwise you ride uphill through the park.

Hey Manou , ziet er een mooie rit uit. Ik heb deze zomer ook gemountainbiked aan de blanc nez met vertrek in Herlen ( binnenland thv Wissant. Mooie rit naar het hoogste punt , mont coupole. Je kan hier eindeloos rijden in het binnenland. Mooie video reportage.
