Waverley Park training day our second outing for 2025
Hey everyone! Welcome back to the channel! Today, I’m taking you along as Pablo and I put our recent training to the test. The focus: Straightness, effectiveness of my aids, and managing both Pablo’s left drift and my unruly right hand.
In our last session with Ben Netterfield, our Performance and Mindset Coach, we worked out that Pablo’s stopping isn’t really his issue-it’s mine. My interfering and confusing aids have been causing hesitation, so today was all about riding effectively and managing my right hand. And let me tell you-it was as much a mindset challenge as a technical one!
The plan for the day was simple but crucial:
✅ Stay tall
✅ Keep my elbows elastic and forward
✅ Ride the corr...

Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel! Today, I want to dive into a key element of show jumping-pace. I’ll be sharing my experience practicing a quality jumping canter using a metronome set at 110 beats per minute. Sounds technical, right? Good lesson to understand that the ridden distance changes as the height changes even though the physical distance doesn’t. 😊well done

Does Insta360 Flow Pro track and zoom automatically or only track?

Thanks for taking the time to watch! Yes the Insta360 Flow Pro does track and zoom automatically. The Auto Zoom mode the Insta360 app Flow Pro will automatically adjust the zoom to keep the subject in the centre. In saying that I have an old iPhone 11 and I understand that it works better with the newer iPhone models.

Courage looks different on different days ~ being brave when it matters no matter how big or small the challengers seem or feels are. Well done simply saying in a very uncomfortable place and letting the emotions wash over and you; is empowering once you can see it from the zoomed out perspective.

Great riding and beautiful horses! 🐴 I am not at all trying to be mean when I say this. but I felt the bit you had on Pablo was a bit much, and I felt like you were pulling quite a bit with him and Pumba. And with Pumba's, "unusual" behavior could be from pain, soreness, anxiety etc. I have ridden horses for many years, and I hope you can use your bits softer in the future. ❤
