YOU CAN GO TO THE LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER AND ADOPT A DOG. THEN YOU CAN SHAVE THAT ONE! DOGS ARE IN THE SAME FAMILY AS WOLVES AND WON'T YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS BE IMPRESSED!

Great video and some of the most beautiful surroundings of the entire trail. And - it's very good to see many of the thru-hikers being grateful for those who help them along by offering trail magic. There is an expression in the ancient Algonquian language of the Western Abenakis, and it is this: "Wli Bamkanni'(pronounced oo-LEE bomb-kahn-EE). So you see, there is a God. I myself have studied world religions in depth in college and much more so on my own time. I have found that the only religion that holds water is Christianity. I am Messianic, where I find Truth to be most rightly applied and followed. The bill of rights we share is such a blessing. 2,000 miles, and only a couple of hundred remaining. Maine is surely something special, like nowhere else. "This is the forest primeval. What a mix of emotions seeing the 2K milestone, excitement for that accomplishment of walking that many miles and the anticipation of the final climb that's just up the trail!

Would love to hear about your gear, pack weight, sleeping in shelters do you have any trouble with mice. Did you carry a food bag, did you use bear hangs and if so how much of the trail did you hang. When you did not hang did you sleep with food Not sure if you would have time to make a video about it all seeing how your busy getting on with life 😊
