    IF YOU EVER DECIDE TO GO OUT TO THAT NATIONAL CACTUS PARK OUT WEST YOU MAY BE TEMPTED TO SHAVE ONE OF THE WOLVES OUT THERE. NO SHAME IN THAT. WE ALL WANT TO SHAVE A WOLF AT SOME POINT IN OUR LIVES. BUT IS IT REALLY NECESSARY? WOLVES CONSTANTLY SHED THEIR FUR. BUT STILL, IT'S BEEN A DREAM OF YOURS TO SHAVE ONE SINCE YOU WERE A CHILD. WE'VE ALL BEEN THERE. BUT THIS MAY BE THE GREATEST EXERCISE OF SELF CONTROL YOU'LL EVER HAVE. RESIST THE NEED AND JUST LET THE WOLVES BE. BUT WAIT! YOU CAN GO TO THE LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER AND ADOPT A DOG. THEN YOU CAN SHAVE THAT ONE! DOGS ARE IN THE SAME FAMILY AS WOLVES AND WON'T YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS BE IMPRESSED!

    Great video and some of the most beautiful surroundings of the entire trail. And - it's very good to see many of the thru-hikers being grateful for those who help them along by offering trail magic. Marcus Cicero had this to say: "Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others." Fewer than 100 miles remain and the summiting of Mt. Katahdin(Katahdin means 'greatest mountain' in the local American Indian language. Be well, stay safe. 🥾

WE ARE VERY EXCLUSIVE AS SOCKS MUST BE WET BEING CAUGHT IN THE RAIN, STEPPING IN A PUDDLE OR TRYING TO ESCAPE YOUR HOUSE WHILE IT'S BURNING DOWN AND YOUR FEET GET SPRAYED BY A FIRE HOSE. YOU HIKED MOST OF THE AT TO STEP IN THAT PUDDLE. CONGRATS! YOU MADE IT. THE CLIMB OF KATAHDIN IS UNNECESSARY NOW SO YOU CAN TURN AROUND AND GO HOME. THE OTHERS AND I HAVE MANY WET SOCKS STORIES TO SHARE WITH YOU AT OUR NEXT MEETING. WELCOME ABORD!!!

    Maine...sigh... Just visited there last week to see a friend - nuthin' like it - the hills, the waters, the forests and the spirits of our American Indian ancestors. There is an expression in the ancient Algonquian language of the Western Abenakis, and it is this: "Wli Bamkanni'(pronounced oo-LEE bomb-kahn-EE). There is no complete literal translation, but the general meaning is 'travel well,' not only over land and water, but the greater journey, as well. Wli Bamkanni, Forklift. Be well, stay safe. 🥾

    FORKEY. I REALLY HOPE THAT YOU AND YOURS GOT THIS MOST INCREDIBLE LESSON FROM YOUR HIKE. THE MOST IMPORTANT KNOWLEDGE I CAN SHARE. I am writing to share the most incredible thing you will likely ever hear, and it has everything to do with your life if you will follow it. First, it is impossible that anything you can touch, taste, hear, see or smell on the face of the earth, be it lighting, tornados, rocks, life of any kind, minerals from salt to plutonium or anything that be seen with the best telescope we have in orbit and what we can not see, that could possibly exist without having been created. Because of this, we can be sure that everything that is had to be made where there was absolutely nothing to make it out of. Romans 1:20 For since His invisible qualities-- eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been , so that people are without excuse. So you see, there is a God. I myself have studied world religions in depth in college and much more so on my own time. I have found that the only religion that holds water is Christianity. I am no affiliate of any Christian denomination as they are called because the enemy has a very well received counterfeit in place in nearly all of them, and the condition is terminal. I am Messianic, where I find Truth to be most rightly applied and followed. The bill of rights we share is such a blessing. But I will quote TobyMcKeehan with Times are changing/With morals in decay/Human rights have made the wrong okay. I am only showing you the way as I have found it and know it to be true through much study and life experience.

NOW JUST DON'T GET EATEN BY A HUNGRY BLACK BEAR OR A BATTALION OF SNAPPING TURTLES AND YOU'LL HAVE MADE IT TO THE HALF WAY TURN AROUND SPOT AT MNT KATADEN (OR HOWEVER YOU SPELL IT.) THEN YOU GET TO DO IT ALL AGAIN WEARING HIGH HEELS!!!! P.S. LOOK INTO THE DEATH VALLEY GERMANS. TAKES A LITTLE RESEARCH BUT YOU CAN FIND THE WAY TO WHERE THEY FINISHED AND BACK FROM WHERE THEY'RE VAN BROKE DOWN. ONLY AN 18 MILE ROUND TRIP HIKE, BUT DON'T DARE TRY IT ALONE. NOVEMBER IS A GOOD TIME. VERY HARSH CONDITIONS AND NO MARKED TRAILS. JUST PASSING ON A COMPLIMENT. YOU LOOK VERY PRETTY IN THE VIDEO TODAY. PEACE OUT.

    2,000 miles, and only a couple of hundred remaining. Maine is surely something special, like nowhere else. "This is the forest primeval. The murmuring pines and the hemlocks, bearded with moss, and in garments green, indistinct in the twilight, stand like Druids of eld, with voices sad and prophetic..."(Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, from 'Evangeline: A tale of Acadie'). Be well, stay safe. 🥾

    Would love to hear about your gear, pack weight, sleeping in shelters do you have any trouble with mice. Did you carry a food bag, did you use bear hangs and if so how much of the trail did you hang. When you did not hang did you sleep with food Not sure if you would have time to make a video about it all seeing how your busy getting on with life 😊

      @forklifthikes 17 дней назад

      I hammocked so I didn’t really sleep in shelters most of the time. I hung my food in the beginning but after that I didn’t really, I would hang it from my hammock under my tarp, no issues with mice for that reason

    WAY TO GO FORKLIFT!!!!!! YOU'RE INCREDIBLE!!! HERE'S WHERE EVERYTHING ON THAT TRAIL REALLY CAME FROM. AWESOME STUFF HERE! Perhaps my best case for Truth of this is found in the book of Habakkuk 1-2:17 where he was given a vision of Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany. Some very strong and interesting proof is in the discovery of Sodom and Gomorrah. This is in these videos. Pt. 1 ruclips.net/video/0QsgY115EFc/видео.html Pt. 2 ruclips.net/video/8plh4NMoQs8/видео.html And here is where the remains of pharaoh's army is found in the red sea. ruclips.net/video/X3NuAkXUwu0/видео.html Gnesis 19:24 New International Version Then the LORD rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah--from the LORD out of the heavens. Brimstone found there is over 95 percent pure. The purest sulfur anywhere else is just over 45% and is found near active geothermal regions. Brimstone such as is found near these two infamous cities is found nowhere else on earth. Yet here it is still, a God-given supernatural element to warn those who would live against Him. 2 Peter 2:6 If He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction, reducing them to ashes as an example of what is coming on the ungodly; He is love or He wouldn't have warned us.After much consideration I found truth best taught and followed as a Messianic. Here are two of the videos I found on this. ruclips.net/video/DBSIs2bHi5g/видео.html ruclips.net/video/0QsgY115EFc/видео.html&t=2s THESE 2 VIDEOS ARE UNDENIABLE PROOF OF NOAH'S ARK AND SODOM AND GOMORRAH. IT WAS SOUND AND THE DIMENSIONS AND MEASUREMENTS MATCH THE BIBLICAL RECORD EXACTLY. WHAT THEY FIRST SAW LOOKED TO BE AN OUTLINE OF A SHIP IN THE MOUNTAINS OF ARARAT WHERE THE BIBLE SAID THE ARK SETTLED. IT WAS MOSTLY PETRIFIED WOOD WITH LINES OF METAL RUNNING THE LENGTH OF THE ARK REMAINS EVENLY SPACED ACROSS. THIS MEDAL WAS NOT FOUND OUTSIDE THE ARK. THE ALSO FOUND PETRIFIED ANIMAL DROPPINGS AND WHAT LOOK TO BE RIB TIMBERS USED IN CONSTRUCTION. ruclips.net/video/oQwfU7DvUyE/видео.html BELOW ARE THE ACTUAL REMAINS OF SODOM AND GOMORRAH'S ASHEN REMAINS. MILLIONS OF PIECES OF BRIMSTONE WAS FOUND IN THE AREA OF THE CITIES, BUT NONE IN BETWEEN THEM. BRIMSTONE MEANS SULFUR. THIS SULFUR IS 98% PURE. THE PUREST SULFUR FOUND ANYWHERE ELSE ON EARTH IS A MAZIMUM 40% PURE. ruclips.net/video/GhTjEbNgTQM/видео.html IT IS ALSO WORTH MENTIONING THAT EVIDENCE OF THE GREAT FLOOD HAS BEEN FOUND ON TOP OF MNT. EVEREST IN SHELLFISH FOSSILS.
