    That was a great video, arguably the best video I've ever seen in a while related to design, the lamp is unique i like it's aesthetics, I would have loved to buy one but I live in Egypt and unfortunately banks block any usage of foreign currency, but man what a refreshing video, i felt i wanted to cry knowing how hard you worked to bring your idea to life, in a world where people always look at the result not the process

    Got my MTRJ002 today. It's a bummer that the centering jig hole is made too big (7mm instead of 1/4"). My quick workaround is to put a heat shrink tube on the pin. Also, there is no printed manual for MTRJ002 and the current PDF one is of subpar quality (rasterized instead of vector). My general impression is that although overall very impressive, in some regards this product either is or is coming close to being excessively over the top, yet at the same time the super fancy case has a freaking zipper which I'm pretty sure is doomed to fail (I have already jammed it once). Update after using it for a real work: this thing needs perfect surfaces to glide on, otherwise prepare for scratches and jumpy movement - there are way too many sharp edges on the bottom side. Also, none of the polycarbonate parts has square edges. I'm so disappointed I've ordered another, more humble router jig.

    I appreciated the video and you definitely have some grit to figure all that out and stick with it. Just seeing what you put towards this must mean your hourly rate is extremely low for what you are making. You need to find an alternative source of labor and focus on design and solving the early manufacturing problems.

Market research. 90 % of the people buy lamp under 30 Euros. i don t know how much you spend for this project. the final product is glamour for sure. but no improvement in the function nor the design / manufactured process. pure poetry. ! Study the matrix : TRIZ for your next project. anyway very well for the learning process you went through. BRAVO.

    Hi ! Great video ! As I am trying to create my own product as part of an entrepreneurship course I follow at my design school, I don't understand how the product you showed can be profitable. The materials, components, packaging (soooo much packaging for just one product), and above all, the hours of work you showed in this video don't match with the price I see on your website. Am I right about thinking this is not profitable ? Or is there something I missed ?

    So you decrease the flowrate since your hotend is not capable enough? I do the same with large nozzles (rapido 2 UHF)....strangely the max flowrate decreases with larger nozzles, with 0.4 i easly reach 55mm³/s)

    • @alimp_designs

    Видео продакшен очень качественный, и помимо этого, проделана огромная работа, за что нереальный респект! ( безумный объем работы ) Видео попалось в рекомендации и просматривая его, а потом и другие одно за одним на канале не покидала мысль - для кого эта лампа? По ценовой категории это похоже на продукт для более обеспеченных людей и как тогда его рекламировать и продавать, не имею понятия. Есть ощущение что это продукты с очень длинным хвостом продаж и продаваться они должны в крайне определенных местах. Суть комментария: - Не думали попробовать что-то, прости господи, более "хайповое", чтобы ответ "А зачем мне это нужно?" приходил сразу же, как только человек увидел продукт. Понимаю насколько это всё усложняет, но ради примера: - да, можно вставить пластинку, но она ещё и медленно крутиться будет. - если при вставлении диска поверх, свет перестает распространяться насквозь, то какая разница что сверху? Может продавать картонки на которых дети рисуют и вставляют это туда, или "диски" с вашими дизайнами. Придать этому смысл и показать людям, какой смысл у этого может быть. Смотря на эту лампу в одиночестве без диска, она не продает мне возбуждающую мозг идею. (А вставлять туда любимый диск ты не будешь ,скорее всего ). Ближайший пример который могу привести: - соседнее видео про лампу, оригинал которой похож как вы сами сказали на колону. БЛИН, а ведь я бы купил лампу которая выглядит как колона. Кажется у неё нет конкретной "возбуждающей идеи" но светящаяся колона, звучит уникально, уютно и достаточно необычно для того, чтобы себе это взять "в хорошем смысле". А если их несколько, разных размеров и форм, это что, можно себе на полке руины светящиеся устроить? - вот это уже возбуждает. По аналогии с недавно хайповавшими лампами "хрущевками". Спасибо за контент и прошу прощения за большое сообщение с типичным бренчанием от безрукого ноунейма)

      @alimp_designs 24 дня назад

      @@nikitagoncharov2569 люблю я длинные комментарии. Особенно добрые, как ваш. Спасибо. И на счет «хайповости» правильно говорите. Я просто не хотел еще более усложнять лампу, она моя первая, даже то что в итоге вышло, оказалось сложным, с сенсорной панелью, с упаковкой, разные числа на панелях, паять впервые учился и тд.

A well-designed product or system not only serves its purpose but also resonates with people on an emotional and aesthetic level, often becoming a classic that stands the test of time. As a robotics undergraduate, I aspire to bring this philosophy into my field. Robotics isn't just about functionality or innovation-it's about designing experiences and solutions that leave a lasting impact.
