Great video thank you, got it
Thank you
Why don't you sell the different gaskets individually? Why would I want to buy a package of 6 if only 2 will fit my bottle?
Does it matter which way you put back the sealer? Thanks!
All you need to do is take the rubber off and cleen it too, to get the inner side of the lid cleaned. I do that. I couldn't understand why the lid was not staying sealed by coming off when holding the tumbler above the lid to move the glass to another location as before. This was about a week ago, still haven't cleaned the whole thing yet before reducing it; Rheumatoid and Osteoarthritis flaring up in both hands and wrists to do thorough cleaning. Decided to learn how to put it back on the right way. I put it on backwards by putting the double flaps inward. Never took it off before. So thanks for uploading this video and showing how to place it on. I really appreciate it.
Notice he didn't twist the lid shut. Because you can't -- I'm finding it impossible to replace my gasket. YETI design flaw.
I could see the gasket just fine….bravo and so well done! 🎉
So helpful, attention to detail, fins facing upward! Thx for doing a chatty Kathy. 🙌🏽
was struggling to get the gasket back into place on a different brand of water bottle but this was still super handy. Just used the flat end of really anything - Personally I used the handle of a cleaned nail - clippers and it did the trick. I was kind of "chasing" a buldge in the gasket down, but it was surprisingly easier to take the whole thing out and put it back in again.
I couldn't se the gasket well enough to figure out how to replace it. I wish there had been some spoken directions.
See The picture on the package. It is clear. I was doing it wrong side but this video helped me.
I want gasket
Please gaskets shop number
You can't see the gasket well, no lighting on it. The whole reason to come here and still not sure if it is on right
Too much talking!!!
You put the gasket on upside down.
Do you sell gaskets that fit the lids for Thermos flasks too?
thank you for the info👍🏻
Do you sell just the pick tool?
Where place available gasket?

Do you send to Japan?
omg I was thinking I had to put it on the outside until now thank you
Which way does the gasket go in? Smooth side up or ridged side up???
Hi Rachel - It needs to be smooth side (flat side) against the cap. The ridge side should on hugging the lips of the bottle.
Thanks for help
Do you know how can I get a new rubber seal for "Sistema Stainless Steel Bottle 750ml" ?
How about the Gatorade Gx bottle?
cleaned cap and gasket but still too tight. Took olive oil on index finger and lubricated gssket and all parts. Then....so nice how it turns open and closed.
Kase milega
Thank you
Where available bottle cap rubber ring
Why do you need to buy a replacement gaskets? The issue with these gasket seals is the very much real formation of mildew/mold overtime. You can get rid of mildew with vinegar. Just leave your cap and gasket ring in vinegar for an hour then run them under hot water and bam. Mold and smell gone
I think the mildew still remains in microscopically if the gasket is too far gone, and can't even be reached by vinegar.
@@Jacob-yg7lz You should remove the gasket and clean it every few days of use. By 6 months or a year like most people do, it's much too far gone. Also, nobody makes their own seals or o-rings, so all you need are the right size for your lid/cap.
Brother, when the rubber of the bottle is broken, where is the rubber found?
How to purchase rubber plz tell me also
Sir ap jo b hain plz help me and tell me ye gasket kahan se lein..plz
thank you!
The gasket for the wide mouth lid is not as easy without that specific tool.
It is tricky. Anything small like a dental pick will also work as long as it's not a sharp edge. Note that if the cap itself is no longer air tight/water is sloshing around in it, you unfortunately have to drill out the center about an inch wide so you can get a cleaning tool in there and routinely clean the plastic there as well. The cap should be solid plastic but they stopped making them solid pieces years ago. A LOT of people get sick or have issues with aggravating their asthma due to how outrageously dirty their bottles get. The lid design on almost all of them are the same junk as well and not designed to be routinely cleaned, making it worse. I wholeheartedly recommend finding a flask that is designed to be completely cleaned and that doesn't have a hollow cap.
The gasket has two sides: a flat side and a round side. When the lid is upside down(not upright when you screw on the lid) Do I place the flat side down first or the round side down? In other words, Flat side faces up to interface with the hydroflask or round side presses against the hydroflask?
This is the most important question here....
The round side goes down first so that the flat side will be pressed against the hydroflask when u put the lid back on
I need one help I have one open type bottle give your number
My hydro flash lid won’t come off
That’s crazy man
The comments on this are fucking hilarious
Where can you buy o ring Mine was lost
You didn't even wait for the lid to dry before putting on the new gasket. Now mold can form in that nice moist environment you've secured
Hi Crystal - Good catch. Since this was a demonstration video, I needed to show that the gasket will fit and that water won't drip. Drying the gasket and cap is very important.
Would it matter if you're going to be drinking immediately? Or are you referring to the gap between the gasket and the plastic lid, which would stay sealed and dry, even when you turn the bottle upside down and cap and outside of gasket gets wet?
Is there anyway to get the smell out of them?
Is the smell from the bottle or the cap?
Same problem but mines coming from the cap
Purplegum well mine got stolen so problem solved.
ZabuGD ` oh no who would steal a used bottle , people are so weird
Purplegum I mean they know it’s expensive and very trendy so
Do you have one Compatible to the Costco thermoflask spourt lid 24 oz?
That's a great question. It is something we are considering. But would you and buyers purchase a gasket replacement pack for $7.49 if a new costco bottle is not much more? We are hoping buyers would as it is much more environmentally friendly to just replace gaskets.
Bottle Helpers yes I would them; my family uses this water bottles
is this the same for wide mouth flex lids too?
We have gaskets for wide mouth flex cap. See links in description
How can I find the Flex Cap gasket? I see on your Amazon page that it is listed in a picture, but I am not able to choose that size to purchase. Please advise.
Hi - We are out of stock on Amazon but have them ready to ship on bottlehelpers.com
@@bottlehelpers3043 Awesome. Thank you!
*I have a serous question and I need the answer badly. Say if you bought a hydro flask sports cap and you wanted to change into a wide mouth could you just switch the caps or would you have to buy a whole new one ?*
The wide mouth caps are interchangeables.
Just curious why you replace the gasket while the lid is wet? Does it ensure a proper seal? Won't the gasket be more likely to get mold or mildew? Thank you
Hi - That is a great question. The water isn't necessary to ensure a proper seal. But you are right. It might be better to dry the gasket before putting it back on. For the sake of shortening the video, I didn't do that step. I don't think it is completely necessary as I now like to remove the gasket at least once a week to clean the cap thoroughly.
