Icy Sci-Fi For The Winter - [2 Books Reviewed]

I recorded this a couple of weeks ago during a particularly cold snap here in the UK and I did so before @PulpMortem skewered people for doing exactly this outdoorsy filming when discussing books.
Picked two science fiction books that I thought would complement the cold weather, which were the following:
The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin
Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
Enjoyed both picks this time around but there was a clear standout selection. What do you think of the SF books I discussed today?
