I feel with prime in order to make a living you have to live out of the truck 12 months a year. If you take 3 months off You'll spend 3 months getting out of the hole . 9 months of work turns into 6 months of pay... Which if you make 2k a week is only 52k a year. However if you run 12 months out of the year you'll make 104k.

Not bad only three weeks to make 6k. I would want to go home after three weeks on the road. My routine usually two weeks on one week off. I make about 2k a week myself but I work for a company and they don't send me in a hole for taking home time.

Why not just Buy your on Truck. If you cant buy it on your own. Then you don't need one.

I left prime and came to Hirschbach. Lots more money in my pocket. Also only pay 99 cents for fuel regardless plus the lease payments are much lower.

I had 5 different TNT trainers bc they kept quitting due to not making any money. 3 of them were $10,000+ in the whole while I was on their truck, 1 went so far as to downgrade his CDL back to a regular drivers license and went to sell insurance with his wife.
