Not sure if anyone else has commented this, but for future if you're in there again, those trans cooler line clips can be installed in the female side prior to installing the male connection, then the male just clips in past the clip and you're done.

Any place that programs or tunes ECU’s should know that the first thing you do is put the car on a stable power supply before doing anything. That was an unnecessary headache. I program tons of new modules, used modules, and do updates on modules to fix issues for things in service bulletins. You’ll hardly ever have an issue if you take precautions and follow the proper procedures.

That little scan tool will suite a DIY’er well. It’s Autel software with a different name on the tablet. It will be comparable to an OE scan tool on most GM vehicles.

Soldering doesn’t suck. It’s quick, easy, and reliable. Those solder seal connectors are trash. I’ve cut into some of the ones I’ve found on wires that have been repaired with them and I wouldn’t trust those things on any wire. Either solder them or use some non insulated butt connectors with heat shrink.

Little late to the party. But the poor drivability can be dialed with a better tuner and lots of street tuning. You’re not going to get perfect. If I remember correctly you went with a twin disc and I’d imagine you don’t want to step to a taller rear gear or have your first gear ratio swapped to a gto 2.97. Doing the ladder would perfect low end drivability. At the cost of basically a second k tec ls7.

Dude...what pushrod length is in there? Did you even measure? You're cammed...the OEM pushrod won't likely work, although your lift is .590 IIRC which is stock lift numbers. You should at least check wipe pattern on the valve tips. Stock PRs suck man, as do the rockers (and lifters/trays) and are in dire need of an upgrade. Couple of hundreds bucks for piece of mind is worth it IMO.

Great videos! No doubt I too have had all the same frustrations, let downs, and mistakes being a hobby/DIY/self-taught mechanic. Having that final end result where it just comes together and things finally work is the best though. Your videos are inspiring so keep 'em coming bud! I also really miss my old Code Blue and remember some of those same tribulations like replacing the battery...mine also didn't have a handle and it took me a solid 30 minutes and bloody knuckles to get it out.

This is my first time seeing your channel and watching your videos, I'm very glad youtube recommended this video to me! You definitely deserve more subscribers and viewership as the quality is really good. I can tell some good time definitely has to be taken to do a lot of camera work, different shots/angles during the assembly process and also the voice narration is very good. I personally really enjoy how its a little bit of a mix between ASMR as sometimes you let the narration lift off or pause for a second to let the viewer hear the raw audio at times. I will definitely be watching more in the future!

the coolant spill could have been avoided if you turned the bottle with its mouth upwards. that way you prevent the air from being trapped inside the bottle.

get a head band flash light, will ease all jobs for you in car services. I can't live without mine now. Actually have two for when one gets discharged I can use the other while it charges.

break in is NOT 500 miles. factories only say that so they"re not responsible for damage. true engine break in is 3-5 wide open throttle pulls and an oil change immediately after. always use a zinc additive when breaking in parts

Great job so far. I've had good luck with the Chevy OEM LS7 exhaust manifold gaskets. Almost anything else I've used leaks.

If something really bad come from an exhaust leak, I will be heartbroken for you. You have to get this done and back to the track and defeat it. There can't be an unhappy ending to this!
