Great video I'm going to college to be a graphic designer gettin my associates degree. I'll be finish in 2026 any tips of how to I've already did my first graphic design job as a freelance for some one I know. but it was just for one time thing it was a business postcard for her business but sometime I get doubt about trying to do good and and try to get better any tips or did you have any doubt about anything. ? while being a graphic designer and how to over come it? and I design my own business cards to get some jobs but I'm redesigning it right now.

Hello, I just stumbled upon you. Can we find design community platforms that give support and feedback to practicing designers?

For fonts I would say whatever you wanna use, google it, find the full alphabet, upload it to your software. I use Canva, remove the background, copy and resize the fonts accordingly.

Congrats on your progress with your business this year! I think its really important that you shared that you moved back home with your parents to make this happen. A lot of people don’t realize that having that safety net is so beneficial for taking the leap to freelance. When I started, I was also living with my mom, I had no money, and I was investing all of my time and energy into improving my health and working on my business. And it paid off. I moved out, got my own place, and now I’m living the life I wanted as a freelancer. And re: “toxic hustle mode,” I would say it’s fine of course that you have passion for your business, but you have to take care of yourself too. It’s about integration, in my experience. You’ll get there! Thanks for sharing. ❤

I am so happy for you and that your 2024 was so successful! I am hoping for a successful 2025 and I will be starting my freelancing journey then! I know it won't be easy and I can't wait to see the person I will be next December. I questioned myself so much this year - why am I doing this, why am I even trying, there are so many better designers than me, etc. But if I don't do it, then what will I do? I finally found my perfect career in design :)

Im soon to be 30, working a job i dont like.. this october i started learning about graphic desing and i feel like i found my long lost passion. Now im at the point where im thinking about quitting my job and wanting to open my own buisness/start freelancing, but at the other hand i must admit im scared, scared im not good enough..that i wont have any clients.. i just feel really lost somehow and idk what to do..
