Once again they failed to go for the obvious Hiveworld Necromunda Codex, where they could have easily fit in all the special Kill Teams, Gangs and their cute little vehicles. I'd be like playing the Brotherhood of Nod. Or a non-Tyranid Genestealer force.

I mean, they are elite squads, they are supposed to be elite squads... But not a single one of those groups was ever supposed to operate in active theatres of war... Inquisitors already have their own personal Guardsmen units (Tempestus Scions, anyone?) Rogue Traders have their own private armies, but even then they don't usually partake in official military campaigns. Some of them are indeed capable of conquering a planet, but mostly when the enemy is far less advanced than them or, in any case, not of the same type an Imperial Guard army would be sent to fight. Don't know anything about Voidsmen at arms, but they sound like some sort of mercenary group. Nothing that would be recruited for a full scale campaign. And then there's the Adeptus Arbites...ADEPTUS ARBITES? REALLY?? THE F*CKING POLICE?!!! For fuck's sake, GW would do anything but fleshing out other actual factions. Where are my gargantuan friendly titan-sized T'au aliens, Games Workshop? Where are the new Genestealer Cults units?! ANSWER ME!

Imperial agents as an army is such a braindead idea. THE WHOLE POINT OF BEING AN AGENT IS THAT YOU SUPPORT OTHER IMPERIAL ARMIES INSTEAD OF FIGHTING ALONE

As a player of both Guard and Inquisition (my guard started out as inquisition stormtroopers), I see this as an absolute win.

As some one who has been using an aoti arbites army inba crusade for the past year ish - this is exactly true. My first game involved me hiding from a land raider for 4 turns lol.

The Guard doesn’t need a codex! Just build a wall of guns and put some tanks behind the wall! (Because the tanks are more Valuable then any man in the wall)

I feel like since their the Agents of the Imperium, they should be able to grab units from all branches because who's goanna say no to an inquisitor.
