I really don't understand why so many people teach front sight focusing, it simply sucks. It's terrible. Target focusing ALWAYS

For those who dont know, you can be target focused with iron sights. I am. Especially during USPSA.

The osights are so bad and full of problems. Doesn't hold 0, turns off randomly, and fragile if dropped. It's probably worse than an airsoft red dot if you can't afford an actual one

I think after the desk pop video, and the OvertonWindex videos, these have some major issues

Red dots are a "cheat code" when it comes to handgun shooting imho

Good information. I’m trying to run irons only target focused as well out to 15 yards. With my dot, it is easy. I admit too, long time ago (1991) I was incorrectly trained and “bought the cow.”

Just did this today. What a great way to change the grip angle to something I’m much more familiar with having come from 1911s. Did this to my g26 gen 5 mos, and it’s a huge difference. I still shoot 1911s, and this puts all my handguns at a close enough angle that I don’t have to mess with muscle memory going between brands. Genius, cheap, and reversible if I ever choose too. Love it. Ty sir.

I sent my slide to get milled elsewhere, it’s a 19x slide. Do I have to have my slide cerakoted or I’ll be fine with out it?

Did this over 2 years when I got issued my 47 at work… it didn’t do shit. I switched to a 19 and don’t use a backstrap and much prefer it to a 47.

You guys are the best! My Glock 20 you guys done for me 4 1/2 years ago gets me a lot of attention at the range with the groups I shoot with it, made a 100 yard shot with it on a half inch steel rod 2 out of 3 times😊

Adjust your non-dominant hand to grip the front of the pistol, add grips as necessary. For a $30 I can make a grip tape job better than a machine-textured job and it acts as a compensator, increases control, reduces recoil, so on pew view has good videos on it

Looking at it, I wonder why they don't clean the milling machine during filming. It would have been easier to see.

I actually hold a lighter to the bottom after I cut it and smoosh it flat a bit then sand it and it’s a lot more comfortable in the hand it doesn’t dig in as much when I grip the firearm

If this is really how the slide is cut, then bravo. Using that small endmill to finish APPEARS to only be needed between the 3” rad & the nibs, however, finishing the entire cut with it achieves the best possible flatness the machine can generate.

If my slide already has a cerakote finish, can you just do the optic cut not the whole slide?
