The Strongest Keyblade in All of Kingdom Hearts
There's a ton of keyblades throughout the Kingdom Hearts series. Here I try to make an argument for one from each game, then compare them against each other. I'm not perfect though so let me know which points I made we good and which you disagree with.
Huge shoutout to KHWiki for some of the keyblade images used.

The (Almost) Shortcuts of Hollow Bastion
Просмотров 48 тыс.4 месяца назад
The environments in KH1 leave a lot open for the player to explore. It's possible we could even reach some areas early for some shortcuts. So let's go through and check out some places with potential for shortcuts in Hollow Bastion. I've learned about these over the years while playing around and looking for new speedrun routes. I just realized I switched between calling them lifts and elevator...
The Easy Bosses of Kingdom Hearts
Просмотров 8 тыс.6 месяцев назад
A quick look through easy Kingdom Hearts boss fights. Sorry for the low energy, I had a long term cold when making this and rewatching a month after upload it’s super obvious to me now lol. On a first playthrough they all work well, but on replays you start to notice how easy some of them can be. These are some of the memorable ones to me. Twitter: elbow_juice Music: You Blow My Min...
"Bad" Keyblades in Kingdom Hearts
Просмотров 222 тыс.8 месяцев назад
I don't really think any of these are super bad, just wanted to talk about some keyblades that seem underpowered for when you get them. I wish they would've better balanced some of these in final mix versions. Let me know any I forgot in the comments! And use whatever keyblade you like! Added blur near the start is to block me referencing a Fandom site. I mistook the wikia for KHwiki. Fandom is...
Hidden Stats in Kingdom Hearts
Просмотров 33 тыс.9 месяцев назад
There's a lot of stats that aren't directly given to the player in Kingdom Hearts 1. Here is an explanation on some of them. Thanks for watching! I highly recommend checking out the KHWiki for more info on all keyblades www.khwiki.com/Keyblade Notes/Corrections: 1. Lady Luck was missing from the recoil list, it has a stat of 1. 2. All critical hit deal bonus damage depending on the attack used ...
The Superbosses of Kingdom Hearts | A Brief Retrospective
Просмотров 204 тыс.9 месяцев назад
This is a re-upload of my KH superboss retrospective. The original had some audio issues that bothered me and I was finally able to get around to fixing it up some. I highly recommend watching superboss-specific videos for more in depths details. There's a lot of neat bits I didn't cover here. Also if you saw me be bad at a fight, no you didn't. This video was created as a part of March Caprice...

Ever wanted to make a save file that can't be completed? Here's some ways you can do that in KH1/FM. Let me know if you can think of other fun ways to break this game. I always love to learn about these! Why Everyone Uses Decisive Pumpkin
Просмотров 62 тыс.Год назад
Decisive Pumpkin, or specifically Combo Boost, is really strong. Highly recommend using. Thanks for watching! Notes/Corrections: - When I show the range of Combo Boost's bonus I forgot to account for negative combo, so I showed (1.3x). With Fenrir and negative combo, combo boost can have a (1.1x) damage multiplier. - I didn't mention it directly, but the percentage bonus increase from Combo Boo...
KH1's Clock is Surprisingly Interesting

If you ever wondered this, now you know. Thanks for watching! elbow_juice #kingdomhearts #kingdomhearts2 #gamemechanics
For KHUX, Fairy Stars was the best keyblade for a long time until a big change to keyblade multipliers made single-element keyblades *much* stronger than the multi-element ones. Also, the reverse (aka darkness) keyblades had higher multipliers than the upright (aka light) keyblades, at the cost of having much lower max SP At the end of the game's life, reverse-power had a lot of the strongest medals available, and SP was easily managed by SP-restoring medals and fused attack skills, so I'd say the reverse-power keyblade Darkgnaw was the most powerful keyblade in the game by the end
The funny thing about the white keyblade silhouette in the thumbnail is that it actually is the most powerful in KH1. It’s two keyblades, one big and one small that you acquire from a cheat device like AR Max. I think it’s from the cheat to unlock them all. The only thing is they chime as you walk around. They’re probably leftover data from the two Final Mix exclusive keyblades.
I’ve found very little discussion about them too, which makes sense because they are pretty obscure and there’s not much to say about them I suppose. I’ve just always known about them and wondered.
That Subscribe joke got me to subscribe on its own lmao, I love your humor😂
Did you just say Ice Titan was not that hard
0:22 The Hands of The Tattletale Strangler from SpongeBob
Decisive pumpkin is the strongest and also my favorite.
How dare you include Monstro but not the Dustflier
19:50
@elbow_juice I am a fool, I zoned out while watching a video
Kh1 one winged angel crit build is irrelevant imo because by the time you get it you should be capping max physical damage anyways and crits stop adding anything
I also agree Decisive Pumpkin is probably the best keyblade, but man I really don’t like the design. It stands out like a sore thumb in every world other than Halloweentown.
Very well made video !
For 2 my opinion is finrir since it gives more stats then ultima
That subscribe bit was clever, consider me a subscriber!
Zero Gear also can turn into OathKeeper and Obilvion when you use it with Roxas in mission mod.
I like hearing the dark cloud 2 music
This is very educational
As a kid I used to draw my own key blade totally forgot I did that
For recoded, I'd argue Oblivion is very good because of the massive upgrade from it's ability, double edged blade
Now do the weakest.
I just used it cuz it had high attack power.
For KH3, I wanna give a shout out to two (technically three) weapons. Hero's Origin and Wheel of Fate. Hero's Origin (and Grand Chef I guess) has the Counter Shield from which is incredible. You get it after the first world, the form itself gives you Second Chance and Withstand Combo, and the finisher keeps you safe for a large period of time. But the real draw is the counter ability. It already does a lot of damage, but it also gets boosted by Critical Counter. This leads to an UNFAIR amount of damage. Seriously, I ripped five bars of HP off of a boss one time from a single counter. As for Wheel of Fate, it's my personal favorite keyblade in 3, but I mainly mention it because it has some wild damage output. Seriously, forms for this thing just shit damage, it's crazy.
Zero/One Will always be strongest of all the keyblades, heavy blade +all critcal+ target scope is beyond op not even talking about setting ure modifier to 1hp for even more dmg to oneshot anything
I will say I got One Winged Angel before doing the rest if the optional bosses and it shredded the hooded figure. While normally a difficult bosses the amount if critical hits I landed ended the fight in seconds before he could do anything dangerous to where I had to check I was playing on Hard Mode. While yes it is s trophy keyblade I consider it one of my favorites and am sad that it was kept from me till playing Final Mix.
I have pass under the map of Halloween town in Kh 358/2 days , because of my Keyblade you have aerial attack and one heartless that fly and he made Roxas pass under the map. Hopefully , I just have a game over screen.
8:19 although it's alright with three ability panels, if you equip four sight panels instead, you get like a 50% crit chance and a large crit boost. Making it the highest damage per combo output in the game.
Ive beaten all the superbosses in KH1. In KH2, ive beaten sephiroth and half the data fights. I attempted the lingering will and was immediately obliterated. In KH3, i tried Yozora and the closest i got was getting him to a third of his health. I am just simply not good enough. I was able to beat Dark Inferno though. Honestly i didnt care much for birth by sleep, so i didnt bother searching for the superbosses. Ditto for Dream drop distance.
Ayo, dont forget, One Winged Angel has the one-hitter quitter chance.
Fun fact. Zero Gear Changes Roxas’ mission mode play style. Making him become his Tears dual wielding mode which is insane if you know what you’re doing.
I subscribed because that 'call to action' was so incredible you definitely deserved it lmao
Stop crapping on Hidden Dragon! You're wrong about it!!!
Ultima in kh1 is so frustrating because it takes more effort to make then actually beating every super boss
It’s a shame DP doesn’t boost magic finishers… though I guess Squeenix really wanted to leave the magic to Bond of Flame, Crabclaw, or Photon Debugger.
So I'm content since Zero/One still placed, but I've been saying for years it was the strongest keyblade, gameplay wise, in the series. Personally, I don't think anything beat it until KH3 Ultima, because that keyblade is a literal nuke.
Kh2s fatal Crest is a mm amazing
For days, I equip zero gear with as many sight boosts as possible and then equip the critical sun accessory.
you didn’t mention fenrir or two become one for kh2 and i dont agree that kh2s ultima doesnt excel at much, its amazing when you use final form w hastega
My headcanon in Kingdom Hearts 3 is that Ultima Weapon is not only the strongest keyblade Sora can wield, on a Keyblade's own merit, it is singularly the _strongest_ Keyblade in the franchise, with the only contender against it being the X-Blade, which would only be able to win through the power of Kingdom Hearts. Removing the control of Kingdom Hearts from the X-Blade, the Ultima Weapon would beat it, assuming all else equal. While it would certainly be a _helluva_ fight, the Ultima Weapon is simply more powerful as a Keyblade overall, while the X-Blade's entire gimmick is summoning and controlling Kingdom Hearts.
Divine rose is weaker than oblivion in the ps2 version
I looooove the Parappa outro
Good thing you didn't do KHUX, it was a medal system for that game, they keyblade only was used as a modifier for the medals. though the strongest medal before the game was closed it was the Kairi medal. It was OP.
I hella love the χ-blade and really hope we get to use it eventually in the series as a proper weapon outside of the one Birth by Sleep bossfight. i actually even have a keychain of the χ-blade chain out of all-metal inlaid with painted enamel, which a friend of mine made for me as a necklace
I absolutely *_adore_* the "mission intro" sweeping camera shots 😊 I especially love how you mimicked the framerate fluctuations that happen in SMS 😂
I think that's the most creative call to action I've seen in a video yet XD Also, that frog is definitely expired at this point ;u;
Fun Fact, I didn't figure out how to switch keyblades in KH1 until I got to the final fight... I really should pay attention to explanations.
fun fact you cant get union on the appstore anymore so you didnt have to mention it
Metal Chocobo is my ride or die, idc what the stat page says.
Just wanted to point out - you called it "three-five-eight over two days". Technically, according to Nomura, the name is actually "three-five-eight days over two". Great video btw!
Cool cool cool
I do kinda have to disagree on 2 as I think it depends on which mode you're playing on. In critical mode the MP hastega of UW and multiple MP hastega accessories are vital for beating the data fights as a lot of the fights such as Larxene and such are hyper-aggressive, giving almost no window for healing or restorative item menu'ing unless you're super cracked. Which I am not. I still managed to beat the hardest date fights because of the MP recharge speed. Also the reach is always super nice. Decisive pumpkin was definitely my go-to for a long time but the need for MP recharge time finally got to me. I absolutely do not regret farming for it in that game.
For kh2 I'd say that it really depends on the situation, on critical mode I thoroughly enjoyed using oblivion in all the data fights for a faster drive charge, when mixed with limit form I think that honestly gave me the highest dps, especially because of how certain fights go. Fighting Saix for instance, I can consistently get 2/3rds through his health with a negative combo (just one) before he charges his berserk bar the first time due to how the combo timing works, and I only got about 1/3rd when using full combos and decisive pumpkin. I know that 358 is a much more complex beast but since one-winged was brought up I feel the need to say that Zero gear crit builds go hard, and in that game crit builds in general really feel like the most viable melee build to me
my favorite keyblade in KH 3 has to be the monsters inc blade (i forgot the name) i love physical builds and its a great physical blade
