MUSIC TO EASE YOUR FEARS "SABLE" BON IVER" Full EP Reaction/Review
Bon Iver is one of my favourite artists, over the years music from his self titled LP has matched memories of mine and now that project very much feels nostalgic to me. Almost feels like the feeling of growing up. When I first started the channel I dove into his debut and soon after checked out "22 A Million" which has now become one of my favourite albums of all time. So fair to say I was extremely excited when I heard Justin was to be releasing new music. This EP "Sable" was poised to be an open and vulnerable piece from the marketing coming out prior to release. I was intrigued by what this would mean from a lyrical point of a view but also an instrumentation perspective. Would we carr...

THEY NEVER MISS! THE DAILY MAIL AND STAIRCASE "RADIOHEAD" Reaction/Review
Просмотров 3,1 тыс.28 дней назад
Well Well Well, once again we dive into the incredible world that is Radiohead. A discography that keeps me on my toes time and time again. On this weeks video we check out two B-Sides from 'The King of Limbs' a divisive album that as far as I can see has grown in popularity as the years have gone on. Was super interested to see what kind of sound we would hear on these tracks, the heavy percus...

I did not think we would be returning to "The Smile" this quick yet here we are. The trio announced their third LP a couple of months ago and the day has finally arrived to check out their new body of work. It's no secret I have fallen in love with the band Radiohead and have loved diving into the side projects of the other members of the group. The Smile containing both Thom and Johnny, with t...

MY FIRST TIME HEARING TALKING HEADS! REMAIN IN LIGHT-Full Album Reaction/Review
lol he did not just call stressed out and ride singles 🤣
Great reaction. Vessel, Trench are awesome.
Lavish is definitely a song that the clique enjoys, but people that don’t know how they are might find weird, the songs fun because this is the first time they’ve done a kinda douchey bragadoshis song and that makes it just fun
This Clancy world tour they do open with overcompensate, and side note they are the best band I’ve ever seen live, they are all over the stadium make sure everyone has a good seat and view and they get in the pit and participate it’s incredible how connected and trusting they are of there fans ❤
More Twenty one pilots!
They are a fun live band. They love to put on a show! There's a ton of fan interaction. It's an exchange between the band and the fans. We sing a lot! The live transitions are fantastic, and some of the songs become a bit more emotional performed live. Even Tyler's flow on Lavish is better live. They're midway through their Clancy world tour. They started with North America last August, followed by New Zealand and Australia. They are about to play in the Latin Americas. I'll see them in Mexico City in February. Then Europe in Spring.
You should definitely listen to Trench (2018). That was the follow-up to Blurryface (2015). Maybe it will answer why they lost mainstream appeal? Or maybe that will be answeeed after listening to their pandemic era Scaled and Icy (2021). Personally, i love each album more than the one before, but that's not the popular opinion. One thing for sure, every album has a different sound and different mood, but they're all uniquely Twenty One Pilots.
Tyler likes to give you the opposite of what you expect. When you expect it to go hard, he brings it down, then hit hard out of nowhere. It's very Twenty One Pilots and keeps me interested. But i get what you say about how unusual it would be to a casual listener. I love this album so much. I feel Tyler's songwriting has matured beautifully. Thanks for giving it a go! I hope you play it often.
React to twenty one pilots self titled album and their other albums
Cry every time I listen to oldies station , no exceptions
I wanted to recommend them, but I honestly thought that it wouldn't be picked up... they called me a madman. Anyway, if you liked this you'll LOVE Trench.
Trench
you should definitely check out trench! insane album, especially production-wise
I like how you say the killers feel cuz if I’m not wrong I think Tyler the lead singer listens to the killers
Watching your reaction to Oldies Station was fantastic. Tyler said he wrote it for for the fans and it means so much. The line "You're in the crowd at her first dance recital" gets me everytime, because Tyler has struggled a lot in his life and didn't know he'd ever have a family. If you listen closely in the background after that part, you can hear Tyler shouting "Ro, Ro!" which is him cheering on his eldest daughter Rosie (whose dance recital he's singing about). Makes me get all teary every time.
So obviously the piece you are missing is “the lore”. It’s been years of world building, and Tyler has crafted a world and characters and stories. Paladin Straight was interesting. On the album release day they released a video for every track but the last which was just an image. The long part of birds was added and a lot of people turned off before getting the ending. Then there were clues and puzzles. Once the fans found the hidden version of the Paladin Straight video, the official video would drop the next day. It took more clues and an extra 3 weeks, but the fans finally figured it out.
I would love to see a Scaled and Icy reaction!
i think youre the first person ive seen that has reacted to this album that loved oldies station on a first listen as much as i did. that song is phenomenal
I like it more than their last 2 albums , although trench does have a few songs i quite enjoy.
Now THIS is how I think everyone should look when they hear Vignette for the first time! The song absolutely knocked my socks off the first time around
welcome to the clique
I’m old enough to realize that oldies station is my fav song off Clancy.
You gotta listen to trench and SAI
I really enjoyed this reaction. Especially when you heard Oldies Station 😊
imo they didn't like to be overexposed in the mainstream so they went on a break to write the next album plus they deliberately were avoiding tv and awards shows after that, they're more happy on the level they are which allows them to connect to their audience
Welcome to the fanbase!
no way it's you!
there is a music video for every song on clancy - there's also a big backstory behind their music that all the albums tie together (music videos tie together over 4 albums) They are the best live performers i have ever seen
I add a vote to those who are saying to check out the music videos. They made a visual for EVERY song on the record, and they did it for a reason. They’re amazing and add an entire new element to each track
You gotta listen to vessel
IMO they didn't lose appeal. the radio just stopped playing them because they don't fit neatly into a genre mold like other artist and are open about their faith. If they were given playtime i'm sure they would be more to the front of people's minds
if you explore more i would sugest starting from vessel at least and then go in order, because you will probably prgressivly like it better and better.
Finally someone appreciates Oldies Station like i did
So glad you like snap back, it’s so underrated
Just reading comments, interesting the overwhelming requests for trench, I do love trench but I would place vessel, Blurryface, and Clancy above it personally. But with that said I love them all from the ones mentioned to self titled, regional at best and scaled and icy
I really love Clancy.. subscribing for more twenty one pilots 🌻
One think that a notice about this album is that every late 20's and 30's tend to absolutely love Oldies Station!! It seems like it went over the head of most younger people that I saw reacting to it, and it makes absolute sense
That's so true though. I picked up the message right away (27) and one of my younger friends was just vibing to the song without listening 😂 she clued in later but it definitely took a hot minute
I cry everytime... I'm 18 btw. It's just so deep, relatable for someone who is afraid of living and growing up
Definitely wept the first time I heard oldies station. The last 4 songs on this album are my favorite section of the album
13:56 I SAID THE SAME THING WHEN I HEARD THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME AND PEOPLE ACTED LIKE I WAS CRAZY
Yiu need to react to more twenty one pilots! I’ll be there for every one ❤
13:57 tyler actually is a big fan of The Killers. he took a lot of inspiration from their music
If you rly like routines or vignette, you should check out their album trench. LISTEN, that album is ssssooo good that, when i saw it for sale in 2023 on my local fnac, I BOUGHT IT (i grew up in a family that likes to buy cds so i have a cd reader in my bedroom as a gen z where i play my favourite albums). It is from 2018 but trust me that the sounds, themes and production still holds up today. Also, it includes my favorite TOP song, the hype, and their most important song, neon gravestones, where tyler gets very raw and talks about how he feels that society glorifies self unalive, as somebody who had been in therapy for a year due to self unaliving tendencies. Ps: if you wanna learn about the lore, i can recommend you some youtubers and share a playlist of videos that i made of them building hype to clancy in early 2024 up until now. And their lore: if you are an arcane fan like me, it ties with viktor as in a way of becoming big, powerful and strong and controling something that can make you bad.
You have to do Trench now!!
It'd be cool if you went back to Vessel! Or even the Self-Titled album? Your choice. I think, when listening to these guys, it's important to remember that most of their songs are about mental health, specifically ending oneself. There's also the fact that both Tyler (Singer) and Josh (Drummer) are Christians and religious themes are present in most if not all of their songs, you just have to pay attention. Thank you for checking them out! I hope you enjoy them!
TRENCH PLEASE
Honestly I think you should react to all their albums from vessel to see their evolution. The clique will definitely be here watching every reaction!
Seen them live in the Blurryface, trench, scaled and icy, and Clancy eras. All completely insane and glorious shows
Excited to see a fellow Aussie reacting to my favourite band. They really don't get enough radio play here since heathens & I'm so disappointed about that. Saw them live here in November in Melbourne & Sydney and would recommend seeing them in concert to anyone. Hoping you will go back to some previous albums & will look forward to another great reaction.
oh and btw, the ending is heavily involved in the lore. Its quite a deep dive to learn all of it and there's plenty of content to explain it. You can explore right into it. get some knowledge of the gist of the story line or just enjoy the music as is. There is a playlist of the songs that are heavily tied to the lore along with the mvs on their page as well as a short video that sums it up. If you decided to explore through reactions there's a whole community that will help along the way (a few of them here in the comments already 😆
You got to do trench to understand the end of this and also watch the music videos. It has all the storyline and the lore . You just went down a rabbit hole . Where all the clique |-/. They are still mainstream but not mainstream lol
Please react to their albums Vessel and Trench! My favorite band, saw them last summer on the Clancy tour, best live band experience ever. Subbed ✌🏻
NOTE: There is a music video for EVERY song on Clancy… definitely worth checking out, especially ‘Lavish’
It’s crazy how much the videos add to the songs!! I think the reason why I love lavish as much as I do is because of the video for sure 😂
@ I totally agree… I love seeing our boys be ‘goofy’
