You are very right brother and thanks. The Arabs were the first to bring Eastern Africans to Asia (many to India and Pakistan) as merchants, carpenters, soldiers etc., however, a few years after African trading and working hand in hand with the Arabs; the Arabs decided to capture Eastern Africans for cheap labour and that was the birth of African enslavement. The Portuguese and later the British joined the slave trade. The Siddis were taken from eastern Africa by the Arabs then the Portuguese and British slave traders. They are happy in India as that's the only home they know. Thank you for so much for a detailed comment, really appreciated and I do hope it will help those who are misinformed about India. The world isn't fully aware how diverse India is, and one has to travel across India to learn about so many different cultures, tribes, religion etc., just to understand the vast diverse culture that makes India one of the most fascinating country in the world. I have travelled to 25 Indian states and still not finished learning more about the different cultures. In my travels across many Siddi villages I had a translator and a cameraman and yes, they did struggle with the translation as most Siddis speak a mixture of Konkani, Kannada and Marathi, lesson learned! The Siddi people told me they have never encountered any racism in India compared to how the West treat it's ethnic minority (the black and brown people). I have travelled across India and never felt discriminated against, people have welcomed me with warm hearts and much love. I have met many Siddi elders who expressed their wish to go to Africa before they depart this world and some wants to settle in Africa but the majority wants to visit Africa. I explained the difficulties of helping them find their ancestral homeland as they were taken from different parts of eastern Africa and that DNA will help just a little and it's not cheap; furthermore, there are over 50 countries in Africa. The Siddi people made it clear that due to poverty they have no money to spend on passports, which is understable. Indian government has no problem processing passports for Siddis, the big problem is that the Siddis don't have much money for passports processing. I plan to start a crowdfunding at some point so I can help them
