I never understood why people take hours in their day, night just to slap on 10 different products. Surely there are products that don't go together, that cause more harm than good, dry the skin out, cause breakouts, etc...

The thing with icing your skin is you need to have skin that can handle the treatment as somebody with hypersensitive skin. I destroyed my skin barrier and have caused myself adult cystic acne because of the ice hurting my skin.

That is why you check the ingredients list of all products you use. The majority of Loreal skincare isn't too bad. It is just expensive when compared to other products. They do have a few gems, a lot of which were discontinued unfortunately. If you take advantage of coupons and sales you can get the products dirt cheap. I always manage to knock a 30 plus dollar product down to 5 bucks.

I visited a HIFU technician who said the 7D alternative was more new and should feel less painful than the 5D etc. Was that even true? Didn't feel much on the face, but a little more on my jawline.

"Go do the research", sounds like you need to do some research... Everything is dangerous in large quantities, but many are good in smaller doses, which you conveniently left out. The amount of fluoride in water and toothpaste is NOT within the toxic range, or even close to it. By your logic, people should be scared of eating apples, seeing as they contain trace amounts of cyanide.
