Hello, tks for your video explanation. For the Fronius, not fully clear why did you put a second inverter into the game? Is it only to add power to your grid? Victron does 24kw and that was not enough for your house? I am planning to get 3x 10k watt Victron Multiplus.

Nice setup. I will build a 3 x MP2-15kVA ESS in spring. You might have a look at the lifepo.de battery systems. I am a big fan of there HS-48-280-200 System. They have a smart mgmt for it, which is pre-designed for Victron. Price for a ready system is good (go ask them for a price for a few pieces). You can stack 3 of them and use 9 or more in parallel. Each can charge/discharge at impressive 200A (10kW). I will use 3 of them for the start with 3 x 16kWh.

So dumb question, basically tablet will fully replace expensive Victron touch screen?

Would this Amazon listing, "Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 (SM-X110), 64GB 4GB RAM, WiFi Only, International Version (15W Wall Charger Bundle) (Gray)" be a good choice and able to configure as in this video with camera and QR code? None of the older tablets a friend gave me have worked but I've never owned Android anything so I'm a little lost here.

Really clean build, but how did you use the input and output function as an island system with the victron if only one AC cable is connected the the multiplus? Left me a little bit confused there😂

Nice setup, but over engineered for the goal it serves. Kona batteries are cheap because they are from a recall campaign. And the reason of the recall was spontaneous thermal runaway of the battery. If someone has so much money for the Victron devices I don’t understand why not to spend a bit more and buy good LFP batteries which are way safer.

To many devices, looks complex. I would go with hybrid inverter, complete high voltage EV battery with its original bms & comunication done via LilyGo

Better oversize than undersize! Those 250/100 solar chargers def. need 50mm sq out. Otherwise super clean, dream set up. Do you rally need to go Victron for the batteries? I've had great results with Pylontech

that is the cleanest install i have seen to date, i am about t install a sol ark 15kw system for a customer with battery and grid tie it is a challenge but your set up is wonderfully tidy

Got it working perfectly! One little thing, I want to leave the screen stay on always, can I set that in the app? I installed another app to sort that, but I rebooted, and the Victron app starts right away, and I cannot get to the default startscreen anymore to start the other app

Thanks works perfect on the A9 tablet I brought for this. Is it possible to dual boot on the device? Lets say i want to use the tablet for normal browsing the internet I reboot back into android software and then when I am done reboot back into Victron software.

How does this get wired for power? I know L1 is power but do you supply with separate breaker from main or double tap breaker that is used for AC in? Just wondering if power supply to L1 L2 L3 has to be same wire ct gets clamped to

Many thanks for posting this. I'm about to start a custom canal boat project that will be fully Victron and this gives me an interesting option to display GX-based data. Can I please confirm that Victron supports this concept - a third-party Wi-Fi GX display - more-or-less (that is, they are not likely to do something in software that will kill the capability)..? What would the minimum hardware requirements for the tablet (processor and memory)..? That is, can I use a reasonably old and low-end tablet that I have spare, or does it need to be relatively new and decent hardware...
