You don't think it's worth it to have a green shield with +1 weapon damage? I know you would have to drop the rarity of another piece or 2 but it would be cheaper and increase your damage

No offence towards other guide makers, but you're one of the very few youtubers who managed to actually explain to bits HOW TO PLAY THIS GAME without leaving new players confused about small mechanics, gear, amd most importantly how to properly block and hit enemies

Imo as a shield fighter as previous druid main I would just say use your block and try to get pretty close to his face because you can just keep blocking all of his attacks against a bear and he will eventually run out of heals which might cause him to play worse if not then change location to somewhere in your favor if possible, such as a large open room with no layers so you have a chance to catch them if they run. If you do hurt them to that point they will often just run and portal if you can't catch them

It's funny that the best strategy against Judgement is to just accept it, as it's going to happen regardless. Just like in real life.

Hey, I learned shield fighter from you a couple months ago, but I run a PDR shield fighter. Shield isnt always reliable but its a game changer if you are playing a fighter and you dont wanna get gapped by literally any class, rely on your shield. However it's buggy and open for mistakes so by using pdr fighter I can make much more mistakes. I would suggest you run a build blinn

As a wizard you can not use this lay out. Not with a blue book, for whatever reason it counts as both hands and will put you over the 224 mark unless you use a squire book. “But no one plays Wizard anyways so who cares” -sdf

As a ranger main I’ve been running all blue gear minus my bow I use a purple bow with triple damage rolls, frost amulet with all attributes and max hp and I either use quickness rings with true and all ats or courage rings with those stats that means I usually have to rock a squire spear and buy a pair of common riveted gloves to accommodate the purple bow for 224 and under but I think the extra bit of additional weapon dmg is better than any stats you can get on 1 piece of gear and the 3 strength on the gloves I find is fine, I also get that extra phys power with the spear perk so combined with the phys power and true dmg I have on the other gear I still hit hard and I usually find a decent pair of gloves to replace the common ones pretty quick anyway, still experimenting but I think I like it the way I’ve been building my kits. definitely love 224 and under lobby’s though it gives me an extra thing to look forward to when going into the dungeons (trying to potentially upgrade each piece before bossing or pvp).

Just a note about demon beserkers. If you kite them to a staircase, let them have the high ground and crouch, they can’t hit you.

As someone who just started playing fighter after many wipes/seasons playing other classes this as well as your other guides/content has been amazing! Very detailed and just a generally sound way of playing. I too prefer the shield fighter to many other playstyles and while I do have some variances in my weapon choices all of what you have listed is just perfect for that gear bracket/content. Great work man and keep it up!!!

resourcefulness also lowers your cooldowns so you can sprint more often. or shield bash if you rock that.

Something to consider when building a kit. When the fundamental stat becomes high, it starts giving diminishing returns. What I mean by fundamental is base attributes(str., vig.,agi., etc.) are the most fundamental. Secondarily are the derived stats (phys/magic power, action speed rating etc.(derived from combining agi and dex)) Lastly you have the resulting refined stats (phys/magic power bonus, action speed, interaction speed, etc). When you start approaching the thresholds for diminishing returns from fundamental stats, you would want to look for the refined stats instead as they are not subject to any diminishing returns except for the stats that might have hard caps like physical damage reduction. Its also worth considering what pieces you want to put base attributes and which ones you want to roll refined stats on. For instance on a helmet, you can roll up to 2 max health. On a torso or legging you can roll up to 5 max health. All pieces can roll up to 2 base attributes. 2 vigor when you are still at a relatively low amount gives approx. 1,5 hp each point. So if you wanted to optimize in my example here, you would get your vigor roll on the helmet and your max health on the torso as that would net you around 8 total hp as if you swapped and did vigor on the torso and health on the helmet it would net you around 5 hp. Another thing since you like to play stealthy ambushes, invis pots are generally very cheap. Might be a little bit too detailed, but you strike me as the type of person to pay attention to detail 😅

I thought Chest, Necklace and Pants are your most important slots. Because they have the highest rolls of Power, HP, Resistances and Luck.

Your melee parry have some issues

Why do you keep cutting to random clips that mostly don’t demonstrate your talking points in between your info? It’s quite distracting and I feel it takes away from the gravity of your info. Otherwise though, I love the system you’ve built up, seems quite well thought out!

My shout out would be swap out to blue pants and focus on epic/legendary rings/necklaces. I can find cheap high rarity rings of survival on the market easily, which is nice for a looting build.

probably the most elaborated and highest quality dark and darker content out there.

Most of this information is totally accurate, but during the mythos phase, I’d really recommend opting for quick learner after the first scenario. Getting the loss out of the way will get you a +1 when you can make the progress if you can take the deck.

Excellent video! One thing I’d like to add is that you can quite easily and consistently safespot the Demon Berserkers by using stairs, crouch in front of them with them standing above you on the stairs and their attacks will go either side of you leaving you free to damage their torso
