Curt and Brianna See Stuff
Добавлен 18 апр 2010
We met unexpectedly in college and later talked about graduating and traveling. After accomplishing that, we got jobs (Curt a Mechanical Engineer, Brianna a Registered Nurse), paid off our student loans and saved everything. Now we quit our jobs, got married and bought a one way ticket. We are making the best of it in the circumstances we have and enjoying living together abroad. Our original plan was to try to travel for 5 years, now we are thinking probably only 4 years 😅.
These laidback videos are our way of keeping family up to date, giving Brianna something to do and creating our home videos for souvenirs for once we go back to the USA and get 9-5s again.
Travels by country/territories so far: Greece, North Macedonia, Albania, Egypt, Italy, San Marino, Vatican City, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Jamaica, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Guam, and Palau.

Full Sunrise Tongariki Tour Timelapse
This video was strictly created cause Brianna wanted to have a video of the timelapses all in one place 😂
Watching the Sunrise over Tongariki was pretty magical. We went with Hahave Rapanui Tours for $20 a person because we did a promotion and did two other tours with them!

Sunrise and Hopu Manu Tour Rapa Nui
Просмотров 4221 час назад
Holy moly were we absolutely blown away by the Amanecer Tongariki tour! It quite literally left us speechless for the majority of the hours we were there. The rest of the tour was a blast with our tour group! We just loved all of it. So amazing. We stayed at a Hostel called Pua Vaenga and thought it worked perfectly for our basic needs. Would totally stay again! We were raised calling the islan...

We are flying to Rapa Nui! We are so psyched to have the opportunity to witness the people, the landscape, the culture! All of it. We are very excited. We stayed at a Hostel called Pua Vaenga and thought it worked perfectly for our basic needs. Would totally stay again! We were raised to call the island "Easter Island" but the island's name is Rapa Nui. The stone heads you are probably familiar...

We've only ever seen them in the zoo or on TV as the main characters in Madagascar, so seeing them in real life was quite the treat! Sadly, it's nesting season (the chicks hatch in a few weeks) so most of them were chilling underground. Seeing them waddle, jump and trip was infinitely entertaining. Also Rodrigo the guide from Solo Expeditions was the best! Episode 215 About Us We met in college...

BUSING THROUGH PATAGONIA | Ushuaia to El Chaltén
Просмотров 99Месяц назад
We spent over 20 hours on a bus as opposed to taking the much cheaper, much faster, flight. If you watch this and decide you want to bus, at least you know what you will be getting into. I think we were the only gringos doing this. We left Ushuaia at 3 AM on an Marga Taqsa bus. That bus took us through two border crossings at random intervals and one ferry that was so late I thought we were goi...
USHUAIA | a couple days in a town surrounded by mountains
Просмотров 92Месяц назад
We have always talked about getting to Ushuaia. We finally made it. We even looked into last minute Antarctica Cruises! And no, we didn't find the money laying around to use it on a cruise so we did not take one. We did eat a lot of Milanese and walked every where. It felt super safe and we enjoyed our time! Empanadas & Choripan at Sunday Market San Telmo | How to spend your Sunday in Buenos AIres

Wonderful experience eating in San Telmo's market in Buenos Aires. We tried Choripan sitting at a counter. We ate empanadas near some tango dancers. We spent hours walking around their outside Sunday market. We stumbled on a Bolivian Parade! It truly was a great day. walking in Montevideo | aka what happens when you don't budget correctly

we wanted to title this video "oops this cost too much" ....we still might some day. We walked everywhere in Montevideo. We spent days and days strolling the streets, the Rambla, the parks, everywhere. We ate empanadas, split a package of pasta over two dinners and got items from the fresh section of the grocery store. It was enjoyable but due to room costs (and unexpected demands of more money...

exploring Dubai's Queen Elizabeth 2 Cunard ship
Просмотров 7593 месяца назад
This video is our personal opinion, please don't take offense. Thanks. Dubai apparently has a cruise ship parked (indefinitely) at one of their docks. We booked a room for two nights to fully explore the ship. Sadly, many things were closed off to us and a tad bit on the expensive side menu wise. We still enjoyed exploring what was accessible and found all the abandoned rooms kind of fun to loo...

Dear Rome, how we unnecessarily complicated our life for fun | Italy Travel Vlog Part 6
I have to say i teared up at those sunrise shots. I cant imagine how it felt to witness it in person. And i know it must have looked so much more vibrant than on video! Rapa nui must have been one of the most expensive legs of the trip so far, at least in trave l costs - am i right? Thr lamdscape reminds me of new zealand mixed with hawaii. That polynesian triangle! Enjoy the rest of the trip! (A new subscriber!)
Hi!! Thank you thank you thank you for your comment! It is literally so nice. I think I teared up too watching the sunrise! It was one of the biggest highlights of anything I've ever seen haha (the quarry was too!) We recently just got to go to Hawaii with Curts grandmother (who absolutely loves it there) and it was my first time! I definitely see what you mean landscape wise and hopefully I'll be able to check out New Zealand as well. Since we were already going to be in Santiago, the flights to get in to Rapa Nui weren't so bad round-trip but if we were coming out of country and had a strict timeline it would have been waaaaay too much. A day or two difference meant hundreds of dollars different. We also got to stay at a really basic hostal that was fantastic price wise (but would have been cheaper elsewhere 😆) and we ate pasta for our big meal every day haha. So somehow we managed to keep the prices lower than we were prepared for. But yeah the whole leg of the trip cost much more than some others 😆😆
Love that you made it here! I thought I read somewhere that it's the most isolated airport or something!
You're right, it's pretty far out there 😅 it was amazing though!
That’s a cool idea. I wish they had that in the USA. Pretty sure that’s soft serve and not ice cream btw
I’m so hungry now!!!
I will forever Sukiya gyudon bowls 😆
Just loved seeing the Bazaar and the Mall, but mostly how dilerious our sweet Brianna was. So funny and adorable!! 😂❤
72 languages, that is amazing. What a beautiful light show. That had to be so much fun. That mall is impressive and I can totally understand why you needed to hide from the heat. So funny to see you both so delirious!!!❤
Definitely understand why staying in a yurt was on your bucket list. I can't believe you had the whole thing to yourself. The lake was gorgeous and the sky was beautiful. Love you both so much. Enjoy every second of seeing the world.❤
Long bus journey! Loved seeing Brianna deliriously laughing over your oreo cake. Was it as delicious as it looked? What a great room you had!!! Love you both so much!!!
Almaty Park was Awesome! Love seeing the world through your eyes!!!❤🎉
Burabay looks beautiful And the lake reminds me of wizard Island in Crater Lake in Oregon. Love you guys so much.❤
Your second bus ride looks super entertaining.
Beautiful ❤canyons and love that River at the end. That little bell was pretty loud. 😂 It's always better to go uphill first and downhill after. That's just my opinion.😂 But when it's worth it, it's worth it. What a beautiful picture of the two of you in front of the lake with the mountains in the background.
Love that they let you stay at that bar all night. You definitely are our world travelers. The things that you have seen and the places that you have been, it's surreal. We love you guys so much.❤
this place looks amazing....it is so beautiful. love seeing all the turtles and all those stone statues. we are going to check out the podcast, sometimes when you hear the history of what people have gone thru it makes you heartbroken, but it is important to know and understand their history, and culture. love the video...xo
Love how you spent your Birthday!! Happy Birthday Brianna! You are so precious to all of us! Love you both so much and safe travels!!!! It looks so Beautiful there and that little Monkey is definitely stealing the show. 😂😂❤❤
The water and surrounding area looks beautiful in Colonia! Safe travels. You are both so loved!!!
Love the little LightHouse Keeper and the Food looks so delicious!! Oreo Coke???? Dad had to try it aftee he saw your video! 😂 Love you both so much!!
Love your napkin To-Do Lists. 😂 Can You make us empanadas when you get home? We love that Amazing Bookstore! I am pretty sure Dad could live in there forever. Great Video!!! Love you both so much. Safe travels!❤❤❤
Can't imagine smoked provolone potato chips. Very interesting!
What gorgeous mountains! The landscape on your flight in looked so Beautiful too!! That chocolate penguin was way too cute to eat. I want a penguin!! 😂 Cool catwalk!! Looks so calm and peaceful! Love you both so much!!! Seeing your videos out of order!! 😅
So Amazing!!! Love that you always try to learn greetings and words you will need to use and understand! Just love that!! What a Beautiful Island and so fascinating!!!! Love you both so much!!❤
I'm surprised you backtracked down to pta arenas when you were already in ushuaia! Love your channel ❤
Thank you for the love! We could have taken a ferry from Puerto Williams to Punta Arenas but the only other land way to get there from Ushuaia is to bus transfer in Rio Gallegos (there might be more but that was all we were told haha). We wanted to see more of Argentina Patagonia before flying out at Punta Arenas so it just kinda worked out like that 😆 thank you again for watching and commenting!
😍😍😍 the penguins are so cute and so distinguished looking! omg, omg, omg!!!!!!! loved this video and so glad you did not get sick from the boat ride. love that you won the stuffed penguin was hoping you would show us vocally how you managed to make the sound of a sea lion😆 that seal lion island was AWESOME TOO! in case you did not see it in the beginning ...LOVED THIS VIDEO!😘😘
Thank you 😆😆 the sea lion noise thing was so abrupt and I couldn't believe I did it so didn't even think about getting it on video haha
that really was amazing, thie glaciers breaking and the noise they make is so loud and almost surreal! the scenary in this video is bar none magnificent!😍😍😍😍😍😍makes us feel the need to get our hiking boots out and take a stroll up that mountain!
Glad you enjoyed it! We loved it haha. We should go on a hike sometime together!
hi,how long did you walk to fitzroy from your hotel one way ?
Maybe 4 and a half? That included rest breaks and the last scramble up the hill took a lot longer than other people 😆 are you planning on hiking it?
@CurtandBriannaSeeStuff yes. Thats the only way right.
I think so 😅 if you find an alternative route let us know 😆
how did you get to Dubai from Abu Dhabi?
There are buses from the Abu Dhabi bus station that will take you 😊
wOW! So beautiful. We will be there soon. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching 😊 I hope you enjoy!
i must say crossing the straight of magellan is such a damn cool thing to be able to say you did! just sayin.....the scenary in el chalten looks so amazing. to think butch cassidy and the sundance kid felt the old west was to civilized so they went there for some adventure. rumor has it them theres gold in those mountains. but truthfully they stole it from the mining company🤣🤣🤣🤣. cant wait to see more...xo
Am I watching a video from the future
what is the name of the hotel for $40 in el chalten
It's called Kalenshen - we have booking.com and went on the week days so we got it cheaper! Also if you go - please tell Juilette at the front desk we say hi 😆 she's so sweet and she taught us how to say happy Halloween in spanish!
My world travelers, awesome scenery and very nice buses.g
Hehehe 😆
The scenery here is just magnificent, love all those snow-capped mountains with that beautiful ocean. Not to mention all those cool military ships and some kind of party going on in front of those ships that we don't know what it was? The Milanese food that you ate look like chicken schnitzel. I have to ask was there any kind of sauce that went with that? And the buildings there look more European than South American. This place is super cool, love the video!❤❤
around 70-75% of Argentina's territory has an European appearance, it can be seen in major metropolises such as Buenos Aires (Argentina's capital): ruclips.net/video/I7TWfDFlSf4/видео.html ruclips.net/video/JPzFvHgLNLE/видео.html Rosario (second most important city): ruclips.net/video/BifGHJCfv2w/видео.html ruclips.net/video/wrhiuytbXyQ/видео.html hese major metropolises r in the central area of Argentina, and heading towards south, architecture is still European, but with a central European alpine character, such as San Martin de los Andes: ruclips.net/video/mxiRNOW5mUs/видео.html and at the end of the world, they r "Viking" European, such as Ushuaia
Hey look, is the sailboats I want!
I dare you to go buy one there
El defile era de los inmigrantes bolivianos, no por el dia de la madre
Thank you for letting us know, we were wondering but had no idea!! 😄 That's really cool and they did an excellent job!
Saludos!!!
And I didn't even mention how damn good the food looked.❤❤
It was delicious!! Also youtube has told us that you have commented 100+ times 😆😆 THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE CONSTANT SUPPORT! We love and miss yall!
@@CurtandBriannaSeeStuff 😍🥰😘😘
That that parade was fantastic, all the homemade merchandise that they were selling at that market was so cool. What a fun fantastic day that was time for you two, what a lucky day to be in that town with all that going on.
7:20 Bolivian inmigrants
We saw the bowler hats and it reminded us a lot of Bolivia but we weren't sure. The only thing we could find online is that there is a march done every mothers day near Plaza de Mayo.
@@CurtandBriannaSeeStuff may be a confusion, in Plaza de Mayo, every Thursday, the group Madres de Plaza de Mayo (Mothers of Plaza de Mayo), make a round around the central monument of the Plaza (Pyramid) as a reminder of their struggle during the military dictatorship, in wich their sons/daughters were kidnapped and murdered by the dictators.
All the food looked so good!
It was!! We miss those empanadas 😭
I have to tell you guys that little cartoon character looks exactly like Nancy from Nancy and sluggo cartoons when we were kids
You should do more research before posting this video.
Thanks for commenting! We actually had a great day but I'm sure you could find other things you would have wanted to do instead.
That is a pizza, you buy it and then put ham and cheese and cook !!!!
Well sadly the oven we travel with was out of order so we just did what we had to to survive. Highly recommend trying it though it was fun 😁
that bookstore was awesome! i get why it feels odd to go to a cemetary, but that was seriously beautiful. i imagine those were built so beautifully so that people would come. sad the ones that are in ruin, no one left in the family to take care of them😔. love the videos and the empanadas looked delicious!
It was! The cemetery definitely was well built. It was kinda heartbreaking to see the rougher ones. There was liter too, people threw their empty bottles and cigarette boxes in some - that was infuriating. Thank you guys for watching and commenting!!! We love and miss you!
That is one of the coolest bookstores I have heard of.
It really was cool! They also had a massive section of manga too. Thank you for watching and commenting!! Can't wait to see ya!
I'm going to guess that Curt is a Sagittarius and Brianna is an Aries.
Hahah😂 that lemongrass part 😅
I still laugh watching that part! Was amazing haha
Food looks so good! Keep having fun, looking forward to more videos.❤
Thank you guys for always being supportive and taking your time to comment on every. single. video. I genuinely love reading them! (even if it takes me a while to get on here to find and respond to all the comments, i love it!!) We love and miss you guys :) XOXO
ok so i had to look up all those words you used like....mate bombilla and yerba mate. glad i get what it means now🤣looks lovely there, sucks about the extra fees on your room....the food looked good! love checking things out on foot, you see so much more and get to be more with the people. now oreo coke sounds good to us. when we were in mexico that is what uncle doug lived on for 2 weeks....oreos and coke, after getting that beautiful parasite mexico gave him!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Baha I've heard of yerba mate but learning about what the special straw with the filter on it was fun! The extra fees did definitely leave a bad taste in our mouth. We do like walking as we kinda get more of a look at where we are at a slower pace. The Oreo Coke was fun! I actually have had more Coke this leg of the trip than any other legs combined haha. Which, I think is only like 3 or 4 over one month but that is still a lot for me (Brianna, Curt will only sip it maybe if he's desperate). I love that he had oreos and coke but the parasite bit, not so much!!
love the video and love the shout out to your uncle and aunt on their anti ibis view...lol. ok so was there a age or weight limit to the dinosaur riding in the mall? cuz curt we were a little dissapointed we did not see you on one🤣 also what does that fruit taste like? thanks for the videos, love seeing you two!
There is usually a limit but I don't think we even thought to ask hahahaha. also, what fruit? I think I missed that bahahahaha
ALL IN ALL RIO LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL!
the carrolls are drooling over the copper! monkeys and wow rio looks magical! the beach the mountains🤩😍🤩😍 the food, even the tasty turbo looked delish. ok so can you imagine being in the seat in front of the person with there feet in the air on the back of your seat on the plane🤬also noticed while people were walking out of the water were blurred while you were on the beach...naked or a skimpy bikini🤣
Rio was magical! The tasty turbo was definitely an experience haha but the churrascaria was our favorite! Curt and I were both impressed and disgusted at the person with their feet on the back of the person's seat haha. It was a younger teen walking out in a skimpy bikini haha, she looked pretty young so I felt bad not blurring it baha. I think if it had been an adult that might be different
