touring Rio de Janeiro, Brazil | we saw Christ the Redeemer! there were monkeys involved
We spent Brianna's birthday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! It was fun and involved building the most beautiful sandcastle on Copacabana Beach. Though the big tour day was mostly cloudy, it was amazing. We got to see Selaron Steps, Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian, Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf and so much more. There was a churrasco involved. It was a bucket list item.
We loved the monkeys next to Christ the Redeemer though, it made the wait between clouds festive.
This is much more a camera roll dump than a vlog. Most of our South America videos might be in this style, a highlight reel of sorts.

Kuwait was hot. We spent every moment we could in the beautiful and educational museums which was a stark difference to the usual itinerary (filled with outdoor things like the squares, souqs and mosques). It was totally worth the $30 usd Wizz air flights from Abu Dhabi. Episode 205 About Us We met in college and started a five year journey to graduate, get jobs, pay off student loans and save ...
exploring Dubai's Queen Elizabeth 2 Cunard ship
Просмотров 730Месяц назад
This video is our personal opinion, please don't take offense. Thanks. Dubai apparently has a cruise ship parked (indefinitely) at one of their docks. We booked a room for two nights to fully explore the ship. Sadly, many things were closed off to us and a tad bit on the expensive side menu wise. We still enjoyed exploring what was accessible and found all the abandoned rooms kind of fun to loo...

hitchhiking in Kyrgyzstan | fairytale canyon, waterfalls and standing on the side of the road
Просмотров 1182 месяца назад
For a week we had planned to hitchhike across a good portion of Kyrgyzstan to get to Karakol. We brought a lot of water and food just in case we were going to be waiting a long time. Thankfully, only a little bit of it ended up being covered by hitchhiking. As much fun as it is to watch people pass you by on the side of the road, the whole thing was a little bit more anticlimactic than I though...

BUCKET LIST ITEM. I think I would live in a yurt if possible. It might have helped that there was a lightbulb, two electrical sockets and flushable toilets (about 3 minute walk from the yurt) but I genuinely believe it would have been fun without the amenities too. We left Uzbekistan with an excited overnight bus. We met some of the nicest drunks. Given, we didn't know what they were saying in Russian but their English to us consisted of the words "I'm sorry" and "I'm so sorry". Did not capture the yelling exchanges on camera as there was a verbal fight going on with us in the middle (literally in the middle, the drunk couple was sitting behind us and the...

Try adding (Stir-fried Dried Anchovies in Red Chili Paste)of korean food, to ramen soup. It tastes very similar to instant ramen soup. I think it would be similar if you also added green onions and red pepper powder. Ramen Sari is a method of pulling noodles, steaming them, and dryed, and then frying them in oil. 고추장과 참기름(볶아진 식용유, 정도)과 몇마리의 마른 멸치를 넣어도, 한국의 라면스프와 비슷한 맛이 될거라고 생각합니다. If you add red pepper paste and sesame oil (fried cooking oil, degree), and a few dried anchovies, I think it will taste similar to Korean ramen soup.
