Hi there! This is very helpful because I am planning of going to Greece next year. Scammers operate the same modus everywhere but the “Let’s go for a drink” is new and I am glad I watched your video. I have a question, is tour package easily available during off season? I’m planning of only staying mostly in Athens but would like to visit Mykonos. Is it a one day trip? Please answer me and thank you in advance.

Today a black guy approached us in Greece trying to offer free bracelets but we started running because last year the same guy scammed us

mykonos is very expesive even for Greece ... all people know that ..

Athens not safe country, there is a lot of pickpockets on the train , and police 👮‍♀️ never talk about it

I am from Greece and the only scam i've seen if you don't count the beggars gypsies like she said etc... and these scams are not targeting tourist they do these things all year to everyone .. a guy came to me in the train station and asked me for 10 or 20 cents to afford a train ticket..and his pockets were full of coins🤣 i gave them the money twice because i thought it was kinda smart.. and it's better like this rather than stealing

Not a massive amount or issue but I have heard of this 'scam' in restaurants. Fortunately I was made aware of this prior to visiting Zante. They give you some bread at the beginning without you asking for it. I knew what was happening and told my wife about it. We didn't eat any of the bread and when it came to paying for the food the bill was handwritten in front of us, just the amounts and not what we had. After checking through what we actually had I noticed they added an extra item for €1 which coincidentally was the bread. Told them we didn't ask for it or actually eat it. They had no issue taking it off but if you imagine the amount they get doing this all the time to everyone.

Scam restaurants typically have double menus, with different prices, sell frozen fish for fresh, and do some other tricks. always check with tripadvisor, and always request a menu you can trust. Also at the cafes, they are required by law to bring you water at no extra charge, and not having to buy bottled water. Finally some places are legally very expensive just because they are close to attractions, or have nice views, but their menus are legitimate.

Now I know, the water looks hot but is ‘t hot..has minerals good for the body and skin…brrr…!!!!!

hi, i was in mainland greece plus a couple greek islands in april 2019, top of my bucketlist trip, do you know the maximum fare from athens airport to the athens city center area by taxi that visitors should pay? i may have been overcharged, it was a little after 10p, but on a more positive note i know now i can pay about 6 euro on the bus, which is how i returned to the airport, will do so on my next greek trip, nice video.
