does your family have li fraumeni?
What’s up with the cover shot in the splits. which leg had the surgery.
I had Osteo sarcoma 17 years ago. I’m still having surgeries today! So fking painful. We’re warriors. No one understands unless they go through it
Hi there, which stage cancer did you have? How big was the tumor? I have been diagnosed with osteosarcoma as well and starting chemo next week so your reply would be much appreciated.
Hey! How's everything going for you now? I got a bone tumor called gaint cell tumor in my left knee and my dr want me to get a limb salvage. But I'm afraid, afraid of being limited. I'm still young and love to train. Love from Sweden.
Hi, how are you today? What did you decide? I'm going through the same.
Hey! how can I contact you?@@pankajrohaj
Hey Sofia, Thank you a lot. I had limb salvage surgery too and it was so helpful to just listen to someone knowing the struggles, hopes and daily life. Thank you. It helps me, because at the moment I’m oftentimes pretty frustrated because of immobility and pain.
How r u now?
Just had the limb salvage surgery 2 weeks ago. Trying to move my leg more and more ... Just hate those neuropathic pains ... But its generally Ok
Hi there, how are you feeling today?
I’m really proud of you for overcoming that!!
All the best!!! Although cancer can go into remission, you are never entirely cancer free. I would never consent to cancer treatment, the pain is NOT worth the pain.
I'm from india patient of ostocercoma bone cancer thigh...19yr old..
The physical therapy is sooo painful. Can you please help me
Please, can I contact you? I have lot of questions to ask.. I'm suffering from the same problem. I am in lot of pain.
Are you doing okay?
@@omshomestead Yes I am. Thank you soo much
@@sachinjohn4424brother!!! I am so glad you’re doing well today. My daughter had LSS in February and finished chemo in June and I’m trying to see how other folks who went through this are doing long term
Hi there, how are you going today? I'm dealing with osteosarcoma as well so it will be nice to hear from you guys.
I'm 22 and got Diagnosed with Osteosarcoma February 14th. I already finished 1 round of chemo therapy and I'm having a hard time fighting my depression. I can't wait to finally say I beat this.
How are you now?
Thank you. My 13yr old son is battling right now.
Hey Sofia. I'm 24 and am currently deciding whether or not to amputate my leg or undergo a joint salvage procedure. Part of my decision is based on what kinds of activities and pain level I'd get back to with a joint salvage procedure. Mine would be largely similar to yours. Any chance you can provide some insight into what kinds of things you can do? In particular: 1. Can you bike? 2. Can you swim? 3. Do you hike? 4. Can you walk far distances? Would be grateful for any insight. :)
Hi Sofia, I have following through your videos and found it is inspiring. Keep going.
All the best for you Sofia, you re a strong person..are still continue dancing?.
Just finished my last chemo stay 2 days ago I had the same surgery btw lots to relate to but it’s so rare that very few people have the same exact surgery
Hey. If you don’t mind me asking, how are you doing now and would you happen to know why Sofia disappeared?

I have ostersorcoma I can't choose amputation or limb salvage I'm 15 please help me
Reaching out to you! How are you? I remember when osteosarcoma was so new! So much fear. So many unknowns. You are loved and supported! I hope you feel that. We really reached out to other young people who were going through the same thing and it meant so much to us to have that connection. Keep up the good fight of bravery!!
Go for limb salvage
LZ; The pain is not worth the gain!!! You will "live" for a few years, but your life will be miserable. I had an osteosarcoma scare many years ago, when amputation was mentioned, I told them to fuck off!!! Oncologists peddle false hope in order to obtain your money. Please see the revolting case of Cassandra C. All the best, please reply to me.
Why does every worthless whore millennial think they're dancers/singers/models?? What a fucking joke... #worthlessgeneration
I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma when I was 17 on 2011. My cancer was in my right knee as well. They replaced some of my femur, tibia and a Full knee. It took me about a year and a half on crutches to learn how to walk again I did not get physical therapy because they were scared that they didn't know what they were doing. So what I did on stretching my leg and bending in and out with the scar tissue that you were talking about I just used a towel and just forced myself little by little over the course of six months before I was able to put pressure and figure out how to walk again. I have a really big problem on hills for some reason walking up hills super hard for me. I don't really exercise it at all and I still have a gimp that people can notice.
Alexander Howell hi dear how are you now? is just my son 15years old he diagnosed this July osteosarcoma we refused the chemotherapy treatment..I would love to hear from you what you did it will help us a lot hope to hear from you soon! Thanks
@@dorisadolfo3005 Please reply to me, and see my other comments. Your son is old enough to make an informed choice!!! The decision should be his, and his alone. However, I would have refused chemotherapy and all treatment if I was in HIS place!!! You have made a most wise decision, I feel sorry for youngsters who are forced into cancer treatment by their parents. I would call it child abuse!!! You were smart to keep away from chemo-shit. Those toxic chemicals can maim and damage for life, and have even caused......death!!! You have made the right choice, how is your son? Please see the revolting case of Cassandra Callender who was forced into chemo.
@@dorisadolfo3005 Again Dorris, you made the RIGHT choice!!! Oncologists make a commission on chemotherapy, and they peddle you with false hope!!! Doctors and drug companies are not bishops, but ruthless money-men. Your son may have "lived" for a few years, but his quality of life would have been appalling. Go and see a children's cancer ward, you made the right decision.
My brother (18years old) also got osteosarcoma, and got tumor in his right leg right below the knee diagnosed on 31st August 2020, he has been done with 2 dose of chemotherapy and the doctor have suggested operation on the 14th of April 2021 but that's risky and more than 90% chances are to remove the leg below the knee🥺😭, Can anyone here share there experience by which he can be saved from removing his leg plz?
Hey. If you don’t mind me asking, how are you doing now? My daughter has LSS back February and I’m trying to see how people who had this done a while ago are doing
This video really helped me sofia😘

That is awesome! it's so good to hear from other cancer survivors! I love how the internet can connect us even when we are half the world apart... We would love to hear more about your battle with cancer and what you've done to embrace your new normal! If you're up for it visit our website and share your story with us there! Here's the link to a form you can fill out: sofiaholubwellness.com/share-your-story/
hi.. i just submit my story there.
+Bie NasD- God Bless you sweetheart! You are a brave girl!!
I had the exact same treatment and it is really hard to cope with, I also had the surgery 3 months in and I have the exact same scar and the exact same operation. It's weird to see someone who has gone through the same thing. After a year and a half I'm starting to get used to my leg. Its odd to see how similar everything you've gone through is to me
Wow! That is incredible. What I have been finding as I have been interviewing other cancer survivors is that no matter what type of cancer and what stage, the emotional struggles are always so similar. But it sounds like the physical component was nearly the same with us! I would love to hear your story. We are launching our website (sofiaholubwellness.com) this summer in June or July which is just going to be a place where cancer survivors can get validation and inspiration in their remission and recovery. Right now we are traveling around the country interviewing cancer survivors to hear what they are doing to "embrace their new normal". We will have a place on the website when it launches for people to share their stories, but in the meantime we would love to hear yours. Please email us at sofiaholubwellness@gmail.com if you would like to share!
+Sofia Holub I'm away the next few days but when I get a chance I'll contact you and check out the website, thanks!
