So about the XIV 1.0 intro, the Echo used to be VERY different back then. It didn't just let you see flashes of the past, it physically transposed you into a mindscape version of those memories. Understand by this that you could actually interact with it, and the people in the echo were aware of your presence as if you were always there. This had interesting effects, such as allowing you to be given items in that echo, and still possess them in the present (this is actually a plot point in the Limsa storyline, although it's not obvious at first). The entire twist of 1.0's original story is that you actually spent half of your time swapping and out of the Echo without even realizing it (don't question why you never notice people being 10 years younger half of the time, the magics of game graphics making you look eternally young lol). So to the people, you just looked like some well-meaning but weird person that'd randomly bring up stories of the past as if they were still relevant. If you watch the cutscenes and pay attention, you'll notice that there are hints about this such as people needing a moment to remember what you're talking about, whereas from your POV, it just happened. But yeah, that's why Derplander is fighting alongside the Lalafell, Roegadyn and Elezen in the Echo in this opening, he's physically living the memory the Echo threw him in as if he also was a part of it. Also, don't know why, but that's definitely not the original audio for that movie. Those are BGM from the game, the movie had its own music made for it that matched its beats.

Seeing someone showing interest in FFXIII's world and story makes me giddy. I wholeheartedly suggest giving the series a playthrough :D

FF14 1.0 is FF14 that was released before the remake of the Reborn. that's why you never seen it because it was out for like 1 year? or 2. it was a big frailer as a FF flag game. so they remade the game from grown up and named it FF 14 Realm Reborn.

You actually missed some cute dialogue after beating Traverse Town. When Leon Yuffie and Arieth were hanging out in the cafe with those magic candles. If you spoke to Leon he would have brought up the Dalmatian puppies and how they are missing. The girls tease him how he’s beside himself with worry and Sora should try his best to find them.

Oh, this is not a spoiler, but a 'fun fact' for why Goofy uses shields exclusively: Goofy used to be the Kingdom's best swordsman, until he swore off ever using a sword following a training accident.

God, i played these games when i turned 19 in 2019, so i didn't have nostalgia glasses for them. Even without nostalgia glasses, these games very quickly rose up to my top ten favorite video games series, and it still holds it's spot strong. I highly recommend you play these games. You will not be disappointed in the slightest.

The live action Aladdin hits different, but I liked it. Quite a few things didn't capture the same magic as the original, but Will Smith put in a lot of effort to play his own Genie, and did a really good job. The live action portrayed the feeling of Aladdin's betrayal better. Will Smith's Genie really felt hurt by it, and what he said to Aladdin for it was powerful. It's one of the few live actions I liked.

The moveset of enemies in kingdom hearts are extremely easy to react to, the hard part is to remember which move u need to do to counter them. Sora has the answer to EVERYTHING in his wide arsenal of moveset.

If you want to start playing with the old ones, you can't go wrong with either 6 7 8 9 and 10. There are also 3D remakes of 3 and 4 which are great. For the new ones, I highly suggest 15, 16 and 7R series. 3 is pretty classic. you take control of luneth and his friends and save the the world, the crystals. (MC is Luneth in the 3D remake) 4 is slightly complex. You play as Cecil, a dark Knight of the empire sent to capture a crystal and massacred a village.(against his will) 6 is about a resistance group trying to overthrow an empire. With tons of lovable characters and a very interesting villain. 7 same with 6 but in 3d and have cloud. 8 is about Squall, a silent introvert, military student and Rinoa, a cheerful princess (kinda) it's their love story. (Very good if you like love story) 9 didn't finish but I only hear good things about this game. 10 kinda like 8 but different world and setting. Tidus and Yuna love story. Very sad. (might make you cry) 15 a prince got sent off to meet his bride to be, he sleeps one night and spoilers. His Kingdom is gone and crystal captured. (might make you cry) 16 Jon snow goes on his journey for revenge. Very action oriented. Very sad as well. (might make you cry)

You know thinking about it having nearly all the Disney Villains together as a group seeking world domination over all the scattered worlds despite their Egos getting in the way of truly working together almost vying for eachother to fail for more worlds for them to conquer and yet I feel like it’s a missed opportunity to not have these villains try to invade other worlds, garner info and better weaponry from these diverse worlds and overall creating unique stories rather than simple self insert retellings of the movie stories. True they do well enough by themselves but when repeating a world in future games I’d wish they would mix this universe after their initial stories. Obviously there are some that include original stories/canon continuations to these classic movies too wich are highly appreciated aside from the Original worlds for this game. Makes you wonder if at some point a revisit to a past world will become like that alternate timeline Disney game where heroes could end up with entirely different skill sets/past maybe corrupted characters and switching the heroes and villains perspectives in their stories. There’s even the fact that some villains powers might work better in different worlds/different games in the KH series than their original movies. It would be more interesting to have the odds more stacked against you.

A fun little game fact, Mickey was originally supposed to be the main character! Once they switched to Sora, they used a lot of inspiration from Mickey's design. That's where he gets his colors, puffy shorts, gloves, and the iconic big yellow shoes!

Just incase it isn’t explicitly mentioned but at least in this first game there are a lot of secret interactions with the environment that you likely can find by locking on things at random for things to examine that can give hints, objects you need to hit and certain magic/abilities needed to interact/unlock rewards. So have fun with Immersing yourself in the worlds as much as you like~! Ps as something of an Easter egg the Command Menu is similar to older JRPG’s or like older Final Fantasy games during turn by turn combat, however seeing as its real time combat it can be played like some 2D fighting games needing multiple inputs for special moves but instead for using Items/Summons/Magic. Some actual special attacks can only trigger during combat if you equip them from Abilities though no worries you don’t need to use the Command Menu in this First game for those special attacks.

Funny enough there are some different scenes for parts of this game wether having visited worlds in a certain order based on what happens in them and in certain story fights on wether you win or lose. The Fight with Leon is one of them, of course winning such fights gets you an extra reward too.
