@@davidfu8174 correct, I have been told the Samsungs devices take a higher voltage which you wouldn’t need to cut anything. The PSU in the box goes down to only around 4.45-4.5. Which isn’t low enough for my orbics to use the BMS cable with the circuit, (you want to use the circuit if possible) so by cutting the circuit off I bypass over voltage out shut downs. There is modification that I’ll share in an upcoming video to the PSU that brings them all the way down to the required voltage now aswell :)

@@stacy532 you could probably do what your stating, currently everyone uses their phones BMS connector to hardwire connections.

@LukeWrightMain Seems like it would be a great battery replacement since they are 6 bucks 8ah and 3.2 volts . And 4000 charge cycles to 80% Cryptosense is a good mining alternative I usually make 30 cents per device on my good days. Nielsen mobile panel is good for older cheaper phones. 16.6 cents per day fully passive u can run more than one. 60 bucks a year . One measure perks 16 cents per day per phone. One account per ip. Mob profit Brand bee both 5 cents per device Cashing out turns into a job if you are cashing out on 400 phones.

@@stacy532 totally agree on the chore for using apps like those when cashing out, I do think a little scrypt could be made to speed up that process. The majority of the work on my phones is all scripted now and makes it very nice be hands off

@LukeWrightMain Yep. On crypto sense it's basically unlimited devices and u can cashout to same. Coin base but once u hit over 50 phones that turns into a second job lol

True! But phones are 8x more profitable. So pick your poison :) and you don’t need to buy all the other stuff like ram, motherboard, etc… phones have it already. They are even better than Raspberry Pi’s about 3x more efficient then them and profitable

@@LukeWrightMain interesting.... I suppose it would ultimately depend on the price of the equipment. Phones use more power to achieve the same hashrate I am guessing, compared to a 7950X

@@andrewjones198 there are still some algos that CPUs are a way better option for like RandomX as it’s more ram heavy, you are Limited to the phones onboard ram, CPUs you can of course add more ram

I don’t think so, I believe Verus is more cpu intensive rather than ram. My orbics are only 3gb of ram

Over time the batteries can bloat (expand in size) and by removing them it eliminates this potential hazard as yes they could explode.

I use Scrcpy it’s a visual ADB. But I dont ever take the screen off fully i manually shut them off instead that way I can keep the screen attached but not draw the extra wattage. However not tech people might use software like Laxi. I hope to make a software for people in the near future

Really hard to come by Cheap phones in general but in reality anything with 8 cores is great

@@FroggyTWrite the GPU on Phone is more of an APU or a cpu style unit. When mining on the phone normally cpu, it will include the 2 or sole cores labeled as GPU, it overs a little better or (faster) mHz speed but not a big difference in overall performance to my observations

For mining Verus? All depends on if you want to solo mining pool mine, most pools will have different reward splits, %, bonus if you find a block etc… all depends I don’t really know which one is best

You’ll need to get a screen that works

Once you have a screen that works replace it and enable debugging then you can put the old screen back in and use the the pc
