Hi Railway fanatics
My name is Ethan, I created this channel to show my love of Railways. I don't talk in my videos so you guys can hear the train(s) in all their glory! I don't run to an upload schedule as I'm quite busy and can't always get out to film stuff. I ask that comments on my videos are kept non-abusive and have no strong language.
My favourite train is the Intercity 225 or Class 91s and Mk4s

a Pigeon on the Jubilee Line
A Pigeon on the Jubilee Line
Just a short funny one...
I got on the Jubilee Line at Stratford and saw a Pigeon wondering through the carriage. I thought it was going to fly out of the carriage before the train went, but to my amazement it didn't! It rode the train to West Ham, wondering around before a lady getting off the train startled it, it flew around in panic before flying out the door.

Where does he keep his oyster card ?
Yeah just a lovely normal day on the Central Line 1992 Stock
The 92 stocks now enter Leytonstone at 35MPH compared to back in March or Feb, so it seems things have gotten slightly better
It's shocking how much of a state the central line is in. Even the dying 73 stocks on the piccadilly line are holding up better. I really hope the refurbishment is complete soon.
Southeastern have announced in Maythat they're taking bids for replacement of the 465s/466 Networkers and Southeastern will be taking on 13 additional second hand Class 377/1s from GTR to replace the Class 465/466 Networkers Mainline services to Maidstone East and Tunbridge Wells
Gateway to one of the nicest places in Britain.
You'll be going nowhere
They must have done it different in the land of the nervous sheep as on SR a TOPS docket had to also be filled out and filed immediately so TOPS could get the unit on its roster and to maintain electronic maintaining records as and when happened. TOPS had evolved quite a bit by 1989 covering stock, movement, repairs and maintaining schedules very little moved without a TOPS docket pulling the strings. Traction managers abs loved TOPS as it was the clerks who did all the heavy lifting and all traction manager had to do was read through a few digests a day printed out, allocate staff etc and put his feet up pretty much :)
Yes that used to happen to me all the time, getting on the train and the flour sack and 4x2 lump of wood would often fall out of my pocket...
! Nice video. Like me !
Surely an easier way of doing things on the railway can be found. Everything seems to be overthought and o need to be so complex for easy tasks.
I love that the hand trapped in the door is merely an obstruction!
3:25Aka give it a good kick
I like the continuity. Starts in the old Riverside platforms at Cardiff Central, then we're in the cab between Cardiff and Newport, then approaching Newport from the west, then the train arrives at Newport from the east, then we're back to Cardiff! - from where it sets off in reverse
Guard absolutely rocking that porn 'stache and smoked shades look.
This was already on RUclips.
@@RWL2012 I know, I was just digging through some of the old films I have saved and saw this was higher quality compared to other upload of this.
@@RWL2012 I'm trying to upload the best quality versions of these old films
Of course no consideration or action taken to help disabled people exit or enter the train with the designated disabled access door locked out of use.
I will never need to know any of this. But I enjoyed watching and learning.
You may never know if you'll end up preserving a 155 😉
The idea that women couldn’t do this job. 😂 how times change…
it's incredible that folk still think along these lines in Space Year 2024.
The unit fails at Cardiff ,yet when the driver calls for fitters he’s at Newport!!
Very confusing times. APT sucked in so much money little was left to hire competent staff, not to mention fund better DMUs.
From the description of another upload of this video: "The as yet unidentified driver appears to be the one who could have his pick at the BRSA disco, resplendent as he is with permed highlights and white socks. He is joined by the keyboard player from Sparks as his guard, his disguise of oversized shades not fooling our keen eye. "
The guard and driver were Cardiff based. White socks were all the rage in those days. I had several pairs 🤪
The guard's hat is too small for his head!
They seem to have gone small with the hi-vis jackets as well. Were these child sizes?
Nope head was too big for small hat😮...s lot of guards used to wear the hat this way😮😊

Apologies for the quality of this video. This is the best version I could find...
nice
Siemens who built the Class 707 could have carried on with manufacturing more Desiro City trains for Southern and for Southeastern. With South Western Railway to keep the Class 707.
I always liked azuma trains design
A wonderful collection of sounds, thank u so very much
Great Film!
Great compilation. Good job recording the auxiliary hum and the compressor sounds as that what makes the 465/0/1s special. As for the 465/9 and 466s, they will be gone by december.
i've heard that these 720's will also be running on the tilbury loop line!
On auto you just need someone to open the doors it will drive automatically And stop
I think it is not on full speed Manuel it is on auto
I've noticed there's a typo when the 15:00 service approaches. For those wondering the actual time was 15:22PM
I remember going on the Central Line from Ealing Broadway to West Acton the train in question overshot the platform at West Acton and the train operator could not open the doors at all, the train continued to East Acton and anyone who couldn't get off at West Acton had to go back in the opposite direction... This is not the first time these trains have had issues and won't be the last
Oh dear!!
