Whats the lumen of the continuous light?

hand held at f1.2 is crazy to me, I've tried shooting my ferret at f1.4 with an 85mm with pretty poor results...granted I had been using the wrong focus mode the whole time. Not to mention this was mostly lowlight outdoors.

How i can pay it in Russia?(

I did not get 9,000 lumens on my Reflex S in continuous light, The MAX I get out of it is 6,000 Lumens. How did you get that 9,000 lumens ??

I like this light for run and gun video, but it doesn’t work with my Godox R2PROII trigger, if I want to use it as a strobe. Made sure it’s in G (Godox), Pwr, same channel and group. Firmware is up to date. Any suggestions?

As a CONTINOUS light source it's a nice package, but this and Rotolight trying to imply it can take the place of a "strobe" or flash is just disingenous. It can NOT provide a short flash duration to freeze motion which is absolutely necessary when shooting fashion. Otherwise the clothing and model will blur. And the other MAJOR benefit from a true flash is that you're not blinding the model with bright light. (1): it's uncomfortable for a subject to have a bright light shining in their eyes, and (2) you're NEVER going to get that attractive, dilated pupil in the eyes look. With a continuous bright light in their face, the model's pupils will get small. With a flash, the pupils remain larger black dots because the modeling light is relatively low in power and the flash burst is so quick that the eye can't respond fast enough, hence you get the full, more pleasant looking large pupil diameter. These LED lights will never give a photographer the benefits that a true strobe or flash can provide. Don't be fooled. But if you're okay with continuous/constant light, then go for it. The "strobe" effect setting is a joke.

Basically, you've spent an outrageous amount of money to just push a button. I don't see the talent at all - is that the point of this WYSIWYG presentation?

I apologize if you have explained this in the video already, but due to the lack of time, I had to skip around a lot. Would you mind stating the reason for using a continuous light over a flash? Is there a particular look that the LED light can achieve that the flash cannot or is it down to convenience or cost?

I just did a nighttime shoot and it didn’t turn out great. I couldn’t get my settings right. This is super helpful

Super stuff! Really enjoy the way Craig incorporates the Reflex S as a flying spotlight for the video footage. Also enjoyed the way he used them for capturing the vehicles with the airborne light. Would be cool to see him through a Sony Alpha on its own drone for some more unique perspectives.

And even those reviews are just talking not acrually demoing this Its video lighting features dont need a demo, but the photography does Plz consider showcasing event photogeaphy indoor/outdoor. I'm unfamiliar with how to compare across LED's and strobes - but I'm looking to invest in my first outdoor portable portrait lighting solution. Is there a strobe equivalent value, such as watt seconds, this will deliver at full power?

This looks great. I literally JUST purchased the original one at the B&H BILD Expo where it was being used on some of the photo walks. I teach and it's great, of course, for use in continuous mode so that students don't need to swap triggers. I'm understanding that this new version allows you to achieve the 9000 Lumens with the new, upgraded Stella Pro handle battery and there is no need for the 100W power source to achieve that. Is that correct? I'm bringing a group to South Africa in a month (I work with a Wildlife Conservation Non-Profit) and it would be great to get the 9000 Lumens without having to bring the additional 100W power source. I'm also understanding that the new 1/4-20 mount is on the base, allowing for mounting on a light stand or pole without the need to turn the Reflex upside down. Is that correct? If so, I'd certainly like the newer version and am wondering if you can do some kind of trade in. I haven't even used the one I got at the BILD Expo yet. Thank you, Charles Chessler

If I'm not mistaken, these lights already achieve these power settings when plugged into a 100W power supply or 100W battery. So I'm assuming the only thing that's changed is the battery pack and perhaps a firmware update to unlock the 30fps. Now all we need is a way to gel these lights while using all the great modifiers that are available to us.

I love that the upgraded battery is compatible with the previous Reflex models too!

How is this different than the current Reflex S lights? Side by Side Comparison More R&D better spent on accessories that work not an after thought and then have to Jerry-rig it.
