You're not charming enough for Feros, it's the hardest paragon check in the game, the full bar at level 12 ... Intimidate is 10, so you weren't even close on that either. One good reason to save Feros until a bit later --- but there's no way you could know that in a blind playthrough. In any event, shooting Jeong is one of the great pleasures in the game, the guy is such a tool. Oh, and the paragon you got was for agreeing to use the gas --- and no, he wasn't under the influence of anything but his own greed, he's just a mid-level corporate lackey. The mini-map isn't wrong, those enemies are right under the upper part of the highway - there were doors to access the areas from the lower part but you just ran right over them. lol One of the nice changes between the original ME1 and the Legendary version is that you get the same XP whether you kill enemies from the MAKO or on foot - in the original you were actually rewarded for getting out of the MAKO. Re: the "bug" (and many bugs actually, they can easily be resolved by just quick saving and reloading.

AND yes, you can save Toombs in one of two ways ... but you failed both the renegade and paragon check ... and it pays to be much more one than the other, straddling the middle in ME1 isn't a good idea --- and you don't have FULL charm, you have as much as you can at this moment. More paragon choices and you would have the ability to increase your charm further.

The series only gets better. I know the consensus is that ME2 is the best chapter, but ME3 was my fave.

If you like the game, then watch the movie as well. I actually liked it and would have loved to see Timothy Oliphant in this role again.

You really should try other characters. Tali and Garrus are kind of redundant, at least for Tech. Wrex makes for a good bodyguard. Re: the stance of "gay" ... this isn't an anti-gay thing, I mean some people are straight and some are gay. Just because someone isn't gay in a game doesn't make this homophobic.

Just a little advice: don't ask how to get a certain result or the best possible choice. There is no best possible choice. There is ONLY your choice and it will make your gaming experience completely different from that of other players. The beauty of ME is that you actually become Shepard so you do YOURS according to your sensitivity. You will have time to experiment with alternatives in other runs (or using save games). And thank you for saving the galaxy! For now....

The issue with the Admiral was because your viewers on stream didn't tell you to max out (as far as possible to this point) either Charm or Intimidate. What they should have told you is that and to always use barrier which is an OP power. Don't think either qualifies as a "spoiler", but there it is.

Congrats for finishing ME1. Can't wait to see on ME2. 🥳And yes, if you reject Liara, than it's impossible to have any kind of romantic relationship with her afterwards including ME2, which is sad, because her romance plot is the best and much more fulfilling from ME2 afterwards. There are a number of reasons why Liara is made for Shepard but all I can say at this point, that Liara can get into Shepard's head and join consciousness. No other characters can do that. Even without romance, Liara is the truest and most loyal friend you have in Mass Effect. She'll always help you in any way she can, she trusts you implicitly no matter what and she puts her neck out for Shepard. Without Liara, Shepard would be basically "F"-d, where as Kaidan.... well, you'll see (nothing specific, just some foreshadowing).

1:30:11 Yes, If you friend-zoned Liara before, than you cannot romance her anymore. Since you're curious, with Liara it would have been a more exotic scene. A quick note, Liara's romance Ark is the most fulfilling and elaborated of all the characters throughout the trilogy. All the others are cute and all but the developers put much more effort to expand Liara's romance Ark. Even if you don't romance Liara, you still feel the chemistry there and Liara has the most important role for Shepard's mission. For me Liara was okay in Mass Effect 1 but in Mass Effect 2 was, when I really was drawn into her and felt grateful. But you won't be able to experience any kind of romantic relationship with Liara in Mass Effect 2 either, unless you are going back with a previous save before you friend-zoned her.

As for choices: - played as FemShep 8/9 times (first and only time as MaleShep was the first playthrough, then Jen Hale all the way) - let Balak (Asteroid X-57) escape 8/9 times - let the Rachni Queen live 8/9 times - spared Shiala on Feros 9/9 times - Wrex survived on Virmire (each time) - Captain Kirrahe survived on Virmire (each time) - killed Rana Thanoptis 8/9 times (the Asari in the labs on Virmire) - rescued Ashley 6/9 times; rescued Kaidan 3/9 times - picked Anderson on the Council (each time -- I just loathe Udina, a testament to his voice actor and the writing) - saved the council 8/9 times Most - if not all of these - picks are what the majority of the community usually picks in ME1 on each run of the Trilogy.

Faunts - M4 part II --- Massively under-rated end credits song. Still gives me both chills and a massive dopamine boost whenever I hear it.

The soundtrack you hear during the conversation with Vigil is called "Vigil" and it also plays in the Main Menu if you haven't noticed

Also about raytracing in this game - RTGI is perma on and a requirement, Full pathtracing came with update 1, can only be switched on with 12GB+ VRAM GPUs and optional. I am guessing the full pathtracing is what is switched off here.

Not racism, more like xenophobia. No matter what people say, the Council isn't all wrong. You need to put yourself in their shoes and be honest about how you would most likely react - the evidence for the reapers is 1) your "vision", and 2) some hearsay evidence provided by a fried Geth memory core. So yeah, it may be true, but it isn't backed by any hard facts, at least as far as the Council knows. Dragon Age: Origins is amazing, especially if you want world building and lore - and a whole lot of incredible top-notch banter (nasty and otherwise).

Just saw this scrolling and decided to stop by to say this: the key with tough enemies and bosses is that it should be back and forth. Attack them until they deflect, then deflect them until you get an opening to start attacking again. It's kind of a volley. Be aggressive. If you get good at doing that, then you've got the game down. Remember that attack windows are short, so you'll be doing a lot more deflecting. Dodging is for repositioning and retreating when your stamina meter's too high. Avoid the impulse to dodge through attacks. You're supposed to fight face to face. You'll dodge and sprint a lot in group fights to try to keep everyone's in front of you or single out archers. It's mostly for that.

The buddha left and right hands are actually hands of Bodhisattva Pilanpo. Bodhisattva are known as near Buddha's power and immensly powerful . If Bodhisattva pilanpo hands were taken it means she was targeted 😢. She is also mother of one of the constellation generals called the "Dawnstar". There is a relic in the game that was created from power of Dawnstar eyes. There must be someone really powerful who could target a Bodhisattva also someone who targeted her knowing who her son is .

If you don't turn up for the races in Claire's missions or don't follow Sampson in the final race, Claire pretty much hates you & refuses to serve you in the Afterlife, unless you did Don't Fear The Reaper (in which Rogue would try to ease tensions between you & Claire). I tried everything before to stop Claire from killing Sampson but to no avail, so I just let Claire kill him. Also, for 3:50:12, selecting the 1st option is the right choice since the 2nd option would mean that Rogue died for nothing & that the Afterlife's fate is unknown. Also, Johnny pretty much leaves V's friends in the dark about what happened in Mikoshi & they get no closure.

Oh here we go with another player coming up to a game of rollercoasters of all emotions. Ok be ready and turn on the exploration in urself. Personaly i've played the OG versions of the game when each was released. In my playthroughs over the years i have finished the ME games over 28 times with different saves however lost them due to harddrive failure. Longest play through i had and longest i can tell u was over 350 hours on each game because it takes really long to follow everything step-by-step . So brave urself and have fun!

Hope U like, it's one of the best RPG trilogies ever made. Everyone says that ME2 is the best one, but I always liked the first one the most since it has the most choice & consequences out of all of them. Not sure what else I can tell you without spoiling, so I'll leave it at that.

Kaidens about as interesting as wallpaper paste tbh. He's a boyscout and a Mr. goodie 2 shoes. Narratively Ashely is way more interesting to interact with yet everyone kills her because she's percieved as racist but no one keeps her alive to see how she evolves. Its actually kind of a turn off now. Im like oh boy I get to watch someone else talk to the cardboard man again.... woo hoo.
