I first started IV K treatment at my local Veterans Hospital late 2020, and it changed my life. the first few sessions (3/week the 1st 2 weeks) i felt right away a difference. Like the fog on my brain had been lifted. That lasts few hrs for some, but each session i felt like that all day after i got up to i think the highest dosage, after like my first 3 or 4 treatments, i really noticed the lasting effects last a few days. then i think like week 3 & 4 we went down to 2 sessions a week since the effects started lasting a few days. some people only have to do one session a week. But I stayed at 2. The effects really are like that dark fog thats covered your brain for however long completely went away. Somehow it made me stop stressing about anything & everything. Especially the small things. i actually felt happy again. like literally not depressed. unfortunately my house burnt down. Total loss, cars & all. my 2nd session after the fire, which was the next week, i had a negative experience. Nothing bad, it was just really emotional & after it worn off that session, i was bawling my eyes out. my 12yr old son and I got trapped in the fire and the only way out was though my bedroom window.

Thank you. I lost my voice-box to a rare cancer. Then, just my luck... Due to abnormal scarring, my throat and esophagaus are completely closed, so I will never be able to even swallow, or use a prosthetic voice to talk. So it's hard to deal with the fact that I'll never be able to eat anything, drink anything, smell anything and most importantly: talk or socialize. My doctor prescribed me Ketamine 50mg/mL (60mL) Injection Solution. Since I can't swallow, he has me pull the Ketamine into the syringe and then shoot it in my mouth. I am then supposed to hold the liquid ketamine under my tongue for a few minutes so it can soak into my tongue I guess? Anyways, he didn't say what to do with it after that, so I just spit it in my feeding tube. Of course, I didn't feel anything. However, I have been studying Subcutaneous injections and nurses demonstrating it. So write before this comment, I gave myself my first Subcutaneous injection into the fat of my outer left thigh. I feel something. My fingers feel 10 years younger... Maybe because I have been dealing with neuropathy from chemo and radiation. I'm listening to you in the background as I type this. I am kinda following but I couldn't tell you what you said if you asked. I'm a 35 year old single male. I live alone with my 2 dogs who I love more than myself. My depression stems from me feeling like I am not giving my dogs the best life because I'm always sore and unmotivated. But they a fed good and I cuddle with them every night in bed. I am going to watch your video after I send this comment, because I am sure it's gonna be useful. This is probably the weirdest comment you have ever got... But I am proudly the weirdest person that you'll never know (in a good\happy way). I've had periods where ketamine didn't work. I thought to myself "that's it" when it didn't work. But after going back to it after a year or so, it worked perfectly 100%. Don't think that just because one session didn't work, that that is it.

I'm on my fifth ketamine treatment. I can't tell anything different. I have suffered from depression since living the Marines in 1999. I literally tried everything but ECT. If this dies not work, ive made my mind up that I'm checking out. My depression is so severe that I don't want the pain. I hope and pray this Ketamine works.

By the way, the "norm" is .5/kg for infusion.....LOWER doses are also effective for those who are sensitive to this medication. I had to ask my Dr to lower the dose and that was the magic for me. There is a wide range of effective doses .15 - 3.0/kg . This is important to remember b/c there is a LOT of research proving that based on our genetics,, the sweet spot for ketamine varies a lot. Don't give up if you have too intense of an experience......experiment a little.

I wonder if this fellow is okay now? 3 years ago this video was made... I have had 2 Ketamine treatments for depression and anxiety. I am in it for the long haul. I can tell a improvement in anxiety for sure and even with my depression. I have tried everything under the sun in 7 years to help myself. All I have read has been great about Ketamine but I do get infusions not injections. I think there is hope for me after all but I am very careful to not get my hopes too high. I would love some input from this guy of some sort. This video is a first that I have seen that Ketamine is not helping.

Ketamine did not a thing for me and cost a fortune! Also.. It's not effective up too 70%. It's success rate is that of around 45 to 50%.

Standing - that's just wrong! I don't game, rather do audio recording, graphics design and writing. That's whilst going through chronic depression. Can relate to the abuse - had a nihilistic, volatile sociopathic brother. Terrified of him growing up. Can also relate to the sadness - profoundly so, lamenting the past - of what, in particular I failed in - several areas. Life's not my cup of tea - is quite literally a guilt trip. Yet, I suspect I am inherently innocent which cannot be altered. It would figure then, guilt is an illusion.

Didn't work for me at all - 1st, 2nd times. Was a fairly good trip but soon as it wore off, depression came back. Other side effect set in - flu like symptoms. Depression, for me requires real existential answers. Guilt is key to it at the base of it but to can't deny, on the outside, the "hard wired" conditions of the CNS. Guilt should be considered a primary disorder in psychology. Already attempted in 2016 - OD barbiturates, after which quit Benzos. Been in w/d since - has been a freaking nightmare.

I have depression . I have been on antidepressants, mood stabilizers, 6 months of ect and ketamine infusions with nasal spray. The infusions are hit and miss. The antidepressants (certain ones) almost compelled me into suicide ideations. Ketamine has been the best treatment so far and the higher doses work better. The nasal spray keeps me from spiraling down into the dark abyss . Reliably so. Good luck Don’t get discouraged yet, many more options to try. Ketamine is good.

How did he administer it subcutaneously? With additional fluids? Seems like it would be better intramuscular.

Brother, you are not alone. My story is acutely similar. Just went into my first infusion today suicidal going in and coming out with hope. Going to do 6 treatments. Anyone thinking about doing this treatment I will add my affirmative voice. The heaviness that I have felt in my heart and mind are not who I am. This treatment has helped me see that. The body is a heavy experience.

I see it's been over a year since his last post, I hope he's ok and we hear something soon. My son went through the 6 treatments and now does a daily ketamine lozinge, these can be mixed at a compounding pharmacy. This has worked well for him.

Ive been considering ketamine infusions and that’s what brought me to your first video of the actual infusion. When I looked at your channel and saw the last video is from nearly a year ago, it was very concerning. I see there are others wondering how you’re doing in the comments. My hope is maybe you’ve recovered and left this channel behind because of it.

Are the depression symptoms worse than before the ketamine? Are you having withdrawal symptoms from not having ketamine? The last thing we need is an addiction to a drug and withdrawal symptoms.

I know very much how you are feeling. I am about to undergo treatment. I also am still dealing with the loss of a very long relationship with my ex. My depression is killing me. I'm not even able to work. This is my greatest fear. If this doesn't work, what next? I'm not doing ECT. I don't see how seizures can help the brain recover. I'm so sorry.

A good friend of mine tried to committ suicide 5 times been in and out of mental health hospitals and his meds wasn't working and then they started doing the ketamine treatments here and it almost cured him and I think if it wasn't for kettamine he wouldn't be here today so keep your head up keep doing the treatments don't give up and be confident it's gonna work and good luck to you I hope the best for you and your family and God bless
