Spring Training - Rally Connex
Просмотров 169Год назад
I recently had the opportunity to assist as a helper at a riding clinic, which was hosted by Rally Connex. It was a really cool experience as I got to witness how a professional riding clinic is structured, as well as the process behind demonstrating and teaching foundational riding techniques. I had an amazing day helping out the ladies' class. My favourite part was seeing the ladies gain conf...

2022 Corduroy Enduro - Friday Highlights

Here are some of the highlights I captured on Friday before the main event. It was nice to be able to hang out for the day, watch the vintage bikes, as well as the modern e-bikes shred through the sandy moto track. I also took the time to look at all the demo bikes that were on display, and watch a few riders test them out on the moto track. I saw many familiar faces that day, definitely lots o...

KORMA Ladies Thrill & Chill Ride - August 2022

This is a KORMA (OFTR) event, which is coordinated by Stephanie Yankovich from Dirt Riding Dames. As far as the trails go, they are absolutely gorgeous. They mostly consist of sandy single track, with some small obstacles such as roots, lo...

OVR5 turned out to be a fantastic event! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our weekend! The trails were great, and the people were awesome! The @valleyrallyenduro5787 crew did an excellent job at organizing this very unique event. We particularly loved tackling the FML hill on Sunday, and riding the harder trails just off the resort. The hard stuff is definitely where it's at... So here's a...

      @rose.lantaigne 9 месяцев назад

      @@sarahdell4042 I came off a KTM 200 xc-w, and when I upgraded to the 250 Sherco two stroke I could initially feel the weight difference. However, the geometry of the frame and KYB suspension on the Sherco makes for a phenomenal ride. I don't really feel the weight difference anymore unless my bike is on the ground and I have to pick it up. As for the compression gloves, check out Amazon! Some pharmacies also carry them.

    Young lady thank you so much for this detailed review. I'm still rolling on my 2012 Beta 498 4T. I had a KTM 300 I bought new in 05 and raced in the desert. At 62 years old I'm looking at getting another 300 and have it down between the Beta and Sherco. Mine will be used for mellow trail riding, dual sport and occasional "hard enduro" sections. I too, like your husband like the ease of working on a simple CDI carb bike.

    Nice updates! I've gone back to helmet mount also. Tried chest mount and liked the footage, but found it very inconsistent. Sometimes the mount would ride up and change the angle, etc. Anyway, I just gotta make sure I set my camera on Superview instead of just Wide. Oops. Looking forward to this upcoming season!

      Thank you so much for stopping by and watching my video! 👍 I also found the chest mount footage to be inconsistent. I tried my helmet mount this weekend for the first time and within a few minutes of riding with it on, I stopped noticing it was there. Which is good. Hoping the footage is OK. Haven’t had the chance to look at it yet! Curious to know the difference between wide and superview. Interesting. I’ll have to play around with that. Hope to see you around this summer! Cheers!

    i chech the Flo web page out and didnt see where it advertised being a liter pull. i also look for a easier pull clutch lever. i have not tried a Clake one easy clutch because its so expensive but it suppose to reduce the pull by 75% one other thing is if i understand some other rider they say under the clutch master cylinder is a number and that is the plumger in it and the pull can be changed by differant numbers. it maybe just a ktm thing but it might be something to look into. also a midwest mountain engineering leaver also reduces pull.

    • @rose.lantaigne
      @rose.lantaigne Год назад

      Thank you for your feedback. I know a few people who run the Clake and swear by it. I personally never tried one! I also know someone who loves their Midwest lever. What I like about the Flo lever so far is the shape of it and quick adjustability feature. It’s definitely an upgrade over stock for smaller hands. But I think you’re right, it doesn’t necessarily reduce clutch pull but instead repositions how/where your fingers grab the lever (which helps tremendously).

    I've heard riders complain about fasteners coming loose on a Sherco. I have owned Husky, Beta and KTM and had the same issues. It's just a Euro thing. Once you go overa all the fasteners on the bike when new and tighten everything then issue is solved. That's been my experience.

    • @rose.lantaigne
      @rose.lantaigne Год назад

      As a smaller rider, I had no issues moving up to this bike. I was previously on a KTM 200 xc-w, which was definitely lighter than my Sherco. However, the suspension and geometry of the Sherco more than makes up for the extra few pounds, in my opinion. I adjusted just fine. It rides way better than my KTM. It might be a tad heavier when I drop it, but I just make sure to stay on top of my fitness.
