  • We had an amazing afternoon riding the Voyageur Multi-Use Trail System, located in beautiful Mattawa Ontario. It was our first time exploring this vast network of trails. We managed to cover approximately 120 kilometres, which is apparently only a fraction of what's available in the area. You could easily spend an entire weekend exploring this place, and not get to all the trails. Gorgeous territory, I highly recommend it. Worth the drive for those who live in (or near) Ontario.
I've included a quick tour of the mica mine in this video, for those who are curious about it. If you are riding the area, this stop is definitely worth checking out. Pretty neat stuff...
I just started uploading to RUclips earlier this year so my channel is fairly new. Please consider subscribing to my channel as I have a lot more shenanigans in store for y'all. I really enjoy the video editing process, and my goal is to produce quality and entertaining content. And my long term goal with this channel is to expand and create educational content such as tutorials and training videos. So stay tuned...
If you are on instagram, you can join me over there as well!

Sweet story and video ! Narration is good too. That's why I havent upgraded from the Gopro 8 yet. The 9 and 10 are way too big. I run mine on the chin mount and love the perspective.

You're absolutely right, this GoPro 10 that I'm running is really heavy. By the time you add the batteries, protector case and mount it to your helmet... I find it much more comfortable chest mounted. But like you, I prefer the angle on the chin position. Can't have it all I guess! Thanks for watching!

Hi Rose, great video! Question, where exactly is the spot at 7:52 ?

    Outstanding place.
I have a GoPro 8 with 2 helmet mounting spots, chin mount and under the visor. Both are custom made with formed acrylic and gobs of JB weld. My vids are set for wide 2.4k at 24 fps. I’m happy with the quality on RUclips. Vid editing isn’t my strong suit🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks for stopping by and watching my video! Interesting that you use JB weld to make your own mounts. That's a great idea. I just subscribed to your channel, I noticed that you ride in southern Ontario! I'm just a few hours north from there... Maybe we will see each other on the trails this summer!

@@rose.lantaigne thanks for the sub!! I’m an OFTR member and ride SCORRA trail systems. Yeah, that’d be great if we meet on the trails👍 look forward to it.

I take a lot of Go Pro vids but no channel. I am super anal about vid quality and found that unfortunately the best vid you can get is with the camera on the chin. I have had some good shots with it on my chest. I noticed that with shorter people when you stand the vid is good but when you're sitting the shot can be too low. And having the two different shots back and fort can drive your audience crazy. I liked your vid a lot but I can tell you it's too low most of the time; meaning the bike and the ground is the main focus. Maybe you can get the camera higher on a side shoulder strap. I like the overall vid though, and really like your channel. Cheers.

Awesome feedback! I agree with your comments! I’m now running a new hydration pack. My other one was interfering with the location of the chest mount. My new pack allows me to run the chest mount higher! I also ditched the hard plastic case and running a thinner silicone case with glass protectors on the lens / screens. My angles are a lot better now. Thanks for watching my video! 👍
