I don't know if the commentary was AI generated but some of it grates. Of course early MK1 Lotus Cortinas had coil spring rear suspension with an A frame. Plus many areas of weight saving which were not mentioned at all.

There are many Citroens that are exceptional. The DS21 EFI Pallas was fabulous - In Australia I had both DS21 & 23 5 speed EFIs The CX 2400 EFI Prestige 5 speed I had was very different to the DS. Equally fabulous. The series II CX Prestige EFI Turbo was as quick as an SM. Later 3.0 litre Maserati SMs we stunning, quick and mostly reliable. The Top Gear guys all raved about the magnificence of the SMs... The last true Citroen was the C6 V6. Style and substance with exceptional comfort.

It's a beautiful car, nothing else like it. It's rolling art!

The best motor vehicle ever produced was the Citroen DS21 Pallas. The SM does not have anything superior that can be found. In actuality its Maserati Engine was total garbage. The Citroen DS21 4 Cylinder 2.0 Liter Hemi-Head Engine, was able to achieve 120 MPH with Four Passengers.

My kind of car. Except for the extra crome hood front and ornament, I love everything about it. The rear is beautiful. All in all a vehicle which sooths my eyes, much hurt by the look of bulky SUVs.

My Dad had a dark blue Valiant like that, by the very low standards of the day a pretty good car. The brakes were incredibly bad though.

My first car was a 62 Valiant, and I'm pretty sure it was Plymouth Valiant.

Back in 1973, when I was 14, my dad had a 2 door 1961 Plymouth Valiant. It was a very unusual car. I was only 2 years away from getting my drivers license, and I wanted it badly. Unfortunately, before that happened, the transmission failed in it, he sold it and replaced it with a 1963 Rambler American 4 door. I have never seen another 2 door 1961 Valiant, other than in pictures. I would pay a pretty penny for one in nice condition, even with no engine or trans.

You showed the compact cars of the Big-3 automakers. The Studebaker in that class was the Lark, not the Avanti. Might have been nice to include the daddy of US Compact cars, the Rambler American.
