The connector that connect to the can bus is part of the harness that comes with the unit

The connector is white and it has about 20 wires..the only connector that'll fit the can bus

@@lindin34 I did that like the canbus is connect too the unit itself but I can not find the wire that goes too it from the vehicle

@Carter Stone once connected..it's wireless connected to the car..make sure ur settings are correct so the ac controls work..

@@lindin34 oI have BOSE , Nav and rear DVD system in my FX. These are the issues I have not been able to solve and hope you have:fix: 1.Passenger air bag light blinks ....I can fix this if I plug the original light back in,,,do you have another solution 2.I cannot get the rear seat DVD system to work 3. Parking radar works when the OEM cameras are on but the display on the head does not show signals I would show you a picture but I cannot upload a picture here 4.If you go into the console icon. There is a section that shows bose controls. I cannot use any of them Hope you can help

@@wmah5574 mine is the same when it comes to the Bose options..ou need to set the options before you remove the OEM head unit same thing with the intelligent key option..air bag light is still as I showed in the video..you need to plug in the OEM one..when it comes to the DVD system that I know it is supposed to be connected to the aux wires and video...for the back up camera make sure you got the back up yellow RCA and that the reverse brown wire is connected

If it is locked you gonna have to go through the manufacturer....if not it is in the settings

Haven't done anything to it..there some engine oil that work better than otherd..I used 5w30 this summer and sounded better when it was hot.. but can still hear it..now I believe this knocking noise could be coming the balance shaft assembly.which is attached to the oil pump..mine still running strong..close to 200k..when I took the video it had around 150k..I might attempt to fix it, sometime.

Thanks.. Mine is at 228K now.. noise started around 223K... Runs fine, but its bothersome and I fear it's going to quit :-(

@@tjrick7745 what oil you have been using..and is the noise louder when is cold or hot?

Yes the motors ..very common ...you can find them online..I think I paid like 25$ each

For both gauges you need to do a sweep test like I did in the video..if they seat in the middle after the sweep..then you have a bad sender for the fuel gauge..

When I do the sweep actuator test the fuel gauge stops at the center and temp stops one notch line above center. So I assume only the temp stepper motor is bad. I figure my fuel level is is bad since when I fill up it goes to empty instead of full

That's correct.you should replace the temp gauge.. .if the fuel gauge in the center after the test check the fuel sender..
